The Stars

Psalms 147:4 He counts the number of stars. God knows the number of stars; He knew how many they are when He told Abraham that he will descendants as numerous as stars. He calls them all by name. The moment God calls you a star, it means you are a heavenly being, you cannot be called this while you are still man. He told Abraham that his descendants will be as numerous as stars and sand, therefore, others are heavenly beings and those that are from the sand, flesh. Most of the time people think that heavenly beings are angels but when you are born of Christ you are a heavenly being.

We do not only partake in the natural, but we also operate in the spiritual. We died and rose with Him. We rose up with heavenly bodies. Therefore, it is either you respond as a heavily being or an earthly being. The Spirit judges all things, this means the Spirit is higher, looking down upon all things. That is why a Judge sits above everyone; you are a star that is mounted up high. He counts the number of stars. These are those who are seated above; they do not just welcome a man after they have judged him all their motives because a star shines. A star excels and shines even when there is darkness. How can you be robbed and deceived while you are a star? Eve spoke from below; she would have seen the motive of the serpent if she spoke from above however she placed herself in its level.

The Devil will be able to deceive you the moment you descend where God has placed you because your analysis will be fleshly and not spiritual. Those who are seated with the Father cannot be deceived. God knows every star by name, He knows those who belong to Him. Verse 5, His understanding is infinite. Those whom He calls as stars have the same understanding as Him. The Lord lifts those who are humble… Those who are not humble cannot be lifted, it starts with you being foolish for you to know where everything comes from and where it is going. When the great Shepherd comes, He calls you by name and because you know Him by His voice you follow; coming to where He is. Many are called but cannot see Him because you see a graveyard whenever He calls from on high.

He says anyone who wants to follow me must die with me. Mary, when Jesus left, she did not move from where she was. Jesus left her at the feet and that is where Jesus called her from – In the graveyard when she brought spices. Whereas He asked the disciples as to why were they looking for the living among the dead but with Mary He did not ask such because she was prepared to die with the Master. Jesus said I am going to my Father and your Father because she was able to go into the lower parts (John 20:17). Many of us want to be called up whereas God is calling you from below and then up. People do not want to first die. The way to the top is by first going down. Many cannot be called stars because they have not tasted His death. For you to partake in the resurrection you must first partake in His death. When He calls the sheep, some do not want to go in silence. The death of a sheep is silence. Some die by complaining, they do not reach the perfect state.

Are you lifting the cross of Jesus or your own? The cross you are taking up should not be of complains but of Jesus, you must carry it in silence. If you do not die, you cannot be a star. We are all going to die but are you going to rise like a star? We have all died, we are all going to face hardships and long-sufferings but what qualifies you is how you face these circumstances. A humble person is the one who dies to himself in silence. People must not identify your pain by hearing about it but they must discern it. When you have died to yourself and when you are humble; your pain must be discerned. Galatians 6:17, Paul said be careful how you touch me because I carry the marks of Christ. They were not aware, so He had to alert them. You need to be able to see whether it is poverty, fame or Christ. When it is Christ, you do not borrow, it is just silence as you go through it. When it is like this, people will say Why have you not told us, they will only hear it when you testify.

Jesus never invited anyone to die, that is why he said to Peter don’t you know I have legions of Angels yet I have not called them? (see Matthew 26:53). Therefore, wait. Some people cause others to be poor and cause you to go through trouble while it is not yet time. Are you are a star or the sand? The sand is a descendant of Abraham but without a heavenly body. Great is our Lord and mighty in power, His understanding is infinite. He understands everything. Many have entered into battles without being able to interpret and understand. God is infinite, when you are seated with Him you get to observe with Him, He judges all things. Those who go down, God lifts them. They die and He lifts them. He casts the wicked on the ground. The wicked remain in the sand, they cannot ascend unless the sand dies. People had fellowship with Jesus while there was fellowship with the star. How many people came with gifts the moment He resurrected? Therefore, what they followed remained.

Isaiah 40:26, To whom then will you liken me, or to whom shall I be equal, says the Holy One, lift up your eyes to the Holy One. He calls them all by name. Your eyes must never be low. The ones He calls by name are neither Angels nor Cherubs, these are His own. You are no longer of the old, you a new creature, a being without gender. Anyone who wants to eat in the vineyard has to lift their eyes. Who created the stars? People must look for you from above when they search for you. He calls you by name, His might and strength. What causes you to go above is His strength. When He calls you, His strength is the one that pulls you, therefore you can never say you are tired. I will give you a new name that no one knows about (Revelation 2:17). This new name is Prisoner, a Bondservant. Paul had to be above when Jesus called him by this name. The moment I say You are a Prisoner, no one is left out. Therefore, as you serve, no one complains because these are chains. When people look at you, they will say you are enjoying. You are the prisoner of Christ.

You cannot go and say He knows your name and think He is considering your earthly name. You are no longer a person but a thing. He calls them all by name. Even though they are higher, He calls them by name to Himself with the might of His greatness. He calls once, blowing the trumpet saying Prisoner and everyone responds. This is a name that no one knows. This is a name that never gets to be outdated. He leads the humble, those who can go through tough times without complaining. In your lack, you must know when it is a test and when it is not. Do not borrow when it is time to go through draught. There is a sickness that can be brought by Christ and in that instance, you must not even ask for prayer requests, you need to endure and preserve. When it is like this, we understand that you are seated with Him as a star, you shine in the darkness. Prisoners walk according to the Spirit and not the flesh.

Romans 8:3, For what the Law could not do [that is, overcome sin and remove its penalty, its power] being weakened by the flesh [man’s nature without the Holy Spirit], God did: He sent His own Son in the likeness of sinful man as an offering for sin. And He condemned sin in the flesh [subdued it and overcame it in the person of His own Son]. If your flesh is not yet condemned, take heed of this verse. There has to be condemnation in the flesh and not the Spirit. Condemn sin in the flesh so that you might be free in the Spirit. The people of the world do not get condemned however because you are of the Spirit when you sin it gets to be condemned by your Spirit. When I see my body I see a weaker vessel, therefore, I do not operate in it but the Spirit. When I operate in the Spirit there is no longer an opportunity to sin. When there is condemnation it means that something has been judged and it is no more.

Those who are in the flesh always think for the flesh and not the Spirit. For those who are living according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh [which gratify the body], but those who are living according to the Spirit. This is where their Spirit is. Verse 6, To be carnally minded is death… It is death to be fleshly and it is set it is life and peace when you have a spiritual mind. Let your body be dead so that you can be where Jesus is. Humility is not being soft-spoken; it is a character seen in the Spirit. Some people act humble and are quiet meanwhile they are still heard (controlling). Humbleness is dying to oneself. Even though He was God he humbled himself to death (see Philippians 2:8) and God gave Him a name above all names, the name Prisoner. Live the life of the Spirit and do not behave like a man of the flesh. People operate fleshly while they have a heavenly body. He is calling you as a prisoner – leading the captivity captive. When you say He gives you strength, it means He pulls you with chains, He pulls you when you do not know how to walk. Before you were walking but after that, His strength now pulls you.

You are a star that shines even when days are dark. Psalm 147:4, He counts the number of the stars. You are up above with Him. He knows the number of the hair of Jesus because He wants to see His glory, you are the hair of Jesus but even when he looks at the hair, not a single one of them has a different name, but one name, Prisoner. The Lord lifts up the humble, those who have died; those who have suffered. Are you a prisoner and do you have the name of the Lord? He casts those who are wicked on sand… Those who do not want to live remain in the sand. When you are serving and you feel that everything is nice, sometimes God can take your strength away, twist your hip just so that you can see His strength. A lot of people are driven by joy, thinking it is nice at Church because they like the songs we sing and all that but at times it has to be the chains that bring you here. If I pray for everyone and they leave and I pray for you but you still remain, what kept you? The chains, you are a prisoner.

Do not allow those who are of the world see you because you are a star. The name that He calls you with is His strength is the name He has given you. His name is strength. When He calls you and says Prisoner, you cannot go missing. He cannot call one prisoner and the other is left behind, all of them respond to the name. He does not know your biological names. He gives power to the weak. You will find yourself moving though you cannot walk because He would be pulling you with the chains.
