I want to speak about this generation. This is a generation that does not fear God and plays around the ark. This generation has gotten used to the presence of God and easily touches the ark. God is tired of people who worship Him because they fear death not because they love Him. It seems like death is the only language that they understand. They understand death not love proposed. With this generation, you no longer touch the ark and die. You no longer enter the Holy of holies and fall down and die.
They are used to the presence of God. When you have sinned and you go to the Holy holies, you would fall under the glory and die. People play around the presence because there is no longer that. This generation is the seed of the sons of Eli who stay in the temple [Holy of holies] and take bribes and sleep with different women. This is not the generation that God wanted. We no longer see healing, the eyes of the blind opened, resurrection, and the great power of God whereby fire would just appear. We no longer see the great power of God where a person is born lame and they are able to walk.
What is wrong with this generation? This generation lacks Isaiah 66. What would it take for you as a generation to love God? There is no longer a difference between a person who is born again and an unbeliever. No one knows which church belongs to God and which does not. We are living in times where everything seems the same. Where when the truth is spoken, people say do no judge me. Where they speak the Word of God, to suit their desires. We tend to manipulate God but He sees inside.
This generation is the one that believes when I declare that people will get jobs if they plant a seed, they would not consider nor would question whether it is God or not. Yet when we speak about sinning, people have to consider, they think first and use grace for their sinful nature. They feel like they don’t have to think twice. I once made a queue in church and told everyone to come and ask anything from God and spoke of what they desire, no one asked God to help them to be righteous. No one came and asked God to help them stop sleeping around. People want material things, not righteousness, we are not after the character of God. God said be holy as I am holy, God says you will see them by their fruits, not the car that they are driving. God has become nothing, people are afraid to do things in front of pastors but not in front of God.
We are a lukewarm generation. A generation that is not afraid to be spit out of His mouth. We continue to seek scriptures that will support our sinful nature. We try to manipulate the bible so that we can have our desires. That is why we are not experiencing the power of God, God is bleeding hence Jesus is still retained in heaven. People no longer believe in the church, we are in a pandemic but Presidents could not come to churches and ask for prayers because they know us, and how we live. People around you do not believe in Jesus because of how you are living. You do not portray what you are proclaiming. God is looking for a generation that will tremble at His Word, one that does not take advantage of grace. This generation knows of grace only when they have fallen but grace doesn’t work like that. Grace teaches you to say no when temptations come, not when you have already given into it.
[Isaiah 66:2]
“For all those things my hand has made, and all those things exist, says the Lord. But on this one will I look: On him who is poor and of a contrite spirit, and who trembles at My Word.”
God will put His eyes on the one of a contrite spirit. This is what this generation lacks. They do not tremble at the Word of God but they tremble in the word of material things. My sons are afraid of me but not afraid of God. It seems like I am leading a generation that does not tremble on the Gospel that I am teaching them. If they do not fear the God that I serve and the Word that has brought us together then I am not their father, I am only wasting my time. I am here to give you what an earthly father cannot give. I am here to give life.
The glory cannot come without a godly character. I have seen people who bow down before me, but have never done it before God. They never submit to God because in God it is not about feelings but you just have to lay down your life. If you recognise me without the Word, you are wasting your time. You do not have the Holy Spirit, you are playing church. You never respond to the Word of God so who are you serving? This generation is a generation that quotes David that he fell but God used him, David sinned only once. Show me someone who was living like you in the bible. We expect God to work in our lives as He worked in the olden days but we do not live like people of the old. David in [Psalms 51] repented. You still love the pit, we still playing in the church of God. Church of God, where is the fear of God? God never said He understands your situation, He said take your cross and follow Me. Many have not started following, they only pick up the cross and lay it down again.
[Philippians 2:12]
“Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed- not only in my presence but now much more in my absence- continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling.”
It is your duty to work out your own salvation. It means you should be more holy in my absence, than at church. You should have more of what you could not do in my presence. We lack fear and trembling. Today I admit to something, it seems like this Gospel of revelations is too easy for us. It seems like it was easy when we had evangelists who spoke a spade as a spade. If religion comes with righteousness and freedom comes with sinful nature then I would rather be religious. Not knowing a revelation will never take you to hell but unrighteousness will lead you to hell. At what cost, it does not cost us only but even souls. The church is no longer seen as a place of safety.
The biggest problem is sin in the church. The devil has blinded us while we are busy fighting and confirming which pastor is from God, we have neglected the teachings of righteousness lives. We have welcomed sin in church while we fight each other as pastors. I am saying if grace comes with sinful nature, take me back to religion, back to where we cannot have tattoos, where we cannot watch television because grace is above Christians. They cannot handle it. The church has become the house of Eli, where the sons live as they want in front of the ark. We commit every sin and we raise our hands and say Jesus is Lord. We need to repent as a church.
[James 4:4]
“Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.”
Are you a friend of God? Therefore you are an enemy of the world and if you are a friend to the world then you are an enemy to God. I am here to tell you that, let us repent and go back to God. As young ministers, let us go back and study all ministers and see where we have lost it. Christians are no longer changing, the church does not cover sinners instead it changes them. The glory we claim to have is no longer there. Repent and become an enemy of the world. Become a fool for the Gospel.
This generation looks at adulterers and makes them their mentors. It looks at homosexual people and makes them their role models. We no longer know what is right. We have accepted what is of darkness. I teach about bad connections, they cut their families but cannot cut celebrities who cannot live for God. Go and repent, seek God. Before sending your confessions go plead your cases to Him because He has spit some of you out of His mouth. God loves you but He hates what is in you. I also hate what is in you, I cannot love what God does not love.
