“FAITH IS A MUSCLE WHICH NEEDS TO BE EXERCISED” PART 1  

During this fasting and prayer, some things have fallen off, the luggage has fallen off. There were things which were swept under the carpet but now the carpet has been lifted up and they are taken away. Therefore do not go back to those things.

Indeed this is a wonderful day and be greeted in the name of Jesus. Truly this is a different fasting and we thank God for our father Abraham Unknown for being obedient to God and declaring this fasting, indeed weights are falling off. In lack of words, fasting has never been this easy.

I am reminded of the times of Samuel during those days the voice of God was very scarce [See 1 Samuel 3:1]. However in this present time, it is good that there is a man who hears God, let us appreciate our father Abraham Unknown.

Do not go hungry while the heart of God is there. There was a need that God had to create vegetation by what He spoke, He then had to form the animals. We are in the month of supernatural miracles anything natural be it time or season, we are in a time where they are ramped up.

If it is said that one has to achieve or receive a certain blessing in a stated period of time, now we are in a season of the time of God and what was supposed to happen will happen instantly. We have been taught about faith, repossession, and also being persistence. God “showed me faith as a muscle” faith is a muscle, because when the Word of God is being preached people are receiving fat(food) but as long they do not exercise their muscles they will grow obese with the Word they have received.

We have people who lack nutrients and these are people who lack the Word and as a result, they are skinny. Hence they cannot exercise their muscles because they do not have the Word and the energy which comes with the Word. Lastly, we have those who are shaped by the Word, hence Paul said… “I am like a soldier in the army and prepared for war” therefore with that said you cannot repossess while your faith is not sharpened because your muscles need to work.

We receive the Word every single day, however, if we do not practice faith then we will be full of the Word which does not work for us. When one fails to exercise the Word they have received their mind will be full of fat, with the very same Word that is shaping someone. How is it possible that the very same Word which is preached to all grows other’s faith but others they remain the same? We ought to receive nutrients from the Word we have received.

Therefore it is time that we practice the Faith we have been given because we have established that faith comes by hearing the Word of God.

[Hebrews 11:1- 3]

It is an evidence and by it, elders obtained a good testimony. We were taught that it is not faith which created/formed but through the eyes of faith we able to see. Things that are seen were not made of things visible, what is visible does not confirm what is invisible. Hence we do not wait to see to believe that there is.

We do not wait to see formation to know that there is one who is creating. (Verse 6) He who comes to God must believe, how many come to God without believing. A hypocrite is one who prays without believing, this is the same as mocking God in your prayers. Often some people come to God as though they do not know that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. We have passed a stage where we test God.

[John 1:1- 11]

The Word was with God and the Word was God. All things were made through Him, but faith makes us understand the process. Faith opens our eyes to that event. In Him there was life.

(Verse 6) His name was John and this man came to bear witness of the light. This light is the one that became life, life manifesting in light. All through him might believe, many are unable to believe because they are in a realm where the Word,faith&believe are different things and they fail to see God in all.

We are taught that a scripture that interprets another scripture is a doctrine, therefore for one to say we ought to believe it means there must be a scripture that affirms that we must believe. Lack of faith means you are spiritually blind, those who lack faith are the ones who cannot see spiritually. Faith makes the Spirit real.

When you believe individually so, through who do you believe? Some their believe is incomplete because the source of their belief is wrong. Individuals who consult with doctors believe but their believe is not perfected because we cannot say they have faith, because faith is information about the Word. However one can believe outside of faith, hence there is nothing which confirms your faith.

It was easy for people to believe John because he gave them to witness. It is easy to believe the one who is witnessing but it is often hard to believe the actual Words which comes from God. Hence Jesus asked them… “ What will you do seeing the Son of man going back to where He was before?” [See John 6:62].

[Luke 18: 1- 9]

Man ought to always pray and not lose heart, this is a command and it is not a choice. Away with drive-thru prayers, those 5 seconds prayers but this is the time where we go deep in prayer. Enough with introduction prayers to some it is as though every day they say “Hello God, Hi God” enough with such prayers it is time to progress because in their hearts there is no persistence.

Self-introspect and ask yourself if your mind is a place of prayer, worry, or judgement? Why is it that everything can enter in your mind? By allowing such you are sharing the dwelling of God because worry and God are coexisting in your mind. What occupies your mind is of most importance.

Are you working in a system and corporate world which does not fear God? (Verse 4) He will not for a while and said within himself, though I do not fear God or regard. The problem is that people only cry at night when things are not going well, yet when things are going well they relax and this is using God. Often people remember God in times of trouble.

We also read a parable about a sower who planted a vineyard and then decided seat and eat what he planted, and God rebuked him. Many have received from the Lord but then something took over. They did not merely receive a breakthrough but a breakthrough with unfaithfulness.

(Verse 6)The Bible does not randomly use examples there is a reason why Jesus had to use a widow. When we speak of a widow we are speaking of someone who has lost hope because the husband is no longer there. In this state, it seems as though prayers are not heard, this is a state of a widow. In the olden days, women were not allowed to work, meaning only the husband could provide. Therefore with this widow, hope for provision and protection was not there.

Hence the Bible instructs us to take care of widows because they have lost hope. People have now agreed and allowed the enemy to rob them by confessing that it is not yet time for them to be blessed. There is a need to discern between the times and also the time of God. Some their delays are not because of their characters but the enemy has stolen. The mindset is that it is not yet time, hence it has been declared that we must repossess.

(Verse 7) And will not God bring justice for His children, who cry out day and night to Him, nevertheless when the Son of man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?” How is persistence associated with faith? God is questioning Himself in this generation at the rate where people are okay with not praying, lack, and where people are okay with sickness and death. Will the Son of man really find faith among us. This question is directed to all of us, when He comes will He find any faith among us with those unanswered prayers?

What we pray for is it what the Spirit showed us or what we have settled for? Settling is like an individual who believes in God for immortality but yet when sickness comes they pray for healing. It is an error to pray for healing while there is immortality. We pray for people to be healed but not for us because we believe in immortality without a doubt.

What you are praying for is equal to what the Spirit has shown you or your mind cannot comprehend what the Spirit has shown you. Your faith is not tested as long as whatever you are praying for is attainable easily. If you can afford it with your salary then your faith is not tested, because there is a form of security and that is your job. You can afford whatever you have attained do not say you were challenged.

Abraham cannot be called a father of faith while he could be able to produce a lamb for himself, it was hard for him. There was no way he could have produced a son for himself, however when he climbed up the mountain to sacrifice his only son then that is when faith was tested[ See Genesis 22]. If it was a lamb or sheep he had a lot of that but God had to come to an understanding which is higher than Abraham capabilities.
