Exodus 33: 9-15]
When you have the Grace of God you should know the way of God. A confused person is a proof that they do not have the Grace of God. Moses did not want to go alone, hence God said to him My presence will go with you. If Your presence does not go with us, then do not bring us out of there, meaning I cannot go further without God. Today I am here to tell you that you ought to be a Christian who cannot go out alone without God. We all need power and the presence of God. When we speak about the power we speak about the presence of God, hence we need the presence to go on. We cannot face tomorrow without God.
Be that Christian who cannot go on without the presence of God. Many can go on alone thinking the presence is with them while it is not. They go to work, school, do business and enter into agreements and covenants alone. People are confident in being alone, but God said He will never leave nor forsake us. For us to know He has graced us it is when we walk with His presence. If we have His power we will know that we are graced. The evidence of grace is not only forgiveness of sins or the power to say no to sin, but also having power and the presence going before you is a sign of you being graced.
His love is His presence, and His love is the power to us. When you walk with His love, it means that you have found favour and grace and you walk with power. Many are used to walking without His power that is why even when He is not there, they are not aware. The Bible says that Moses spoke to God face to face, yet he still prayed that he can never go on without God.
With Jacob, it was different because he wrestled with God. He slept on a rock, where he saw angels ascending and descending. There are people who encounter God and after that, they can still go on without Him. They come and ask for things and God blesses them, the next day they do things and walk alone. Do not be such a Christian. Do not get used to being alone. Many Christians have forgotten about the power of God. They got used to the strategies and methods of surviving, but I am saying that it is time we tell God that we cannot live without Him.
It is time we prayed and told God that we still need Him every step of our lives, and we cannot go on without Him. We need Him to guide us and to show us that we have found favour and grace in His sight. We should pray that He should guide us and make decisions for us. I always pray ‘Lord that I cannot lead Yeshua alone nor can I prosper without you’.
I can never go and become immortal without Him. The reason why Adam and Eve were chased out of the Garden of Eden was so that they cannot have their way to the tree of life. The minute they ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil the presence left them and they were naked. If they had eaten from the tree of life they would have received immortality without the presence. God wants you to have immortality as well as His presence. The presence of God is power.
[Luke 24: 48-49]
We know this scripture yet it seems like we fail to apply this in our lives. Many of us if we lived with Jesus for three years, being with Him and hearing His teachings, when He sends us out, we would rush to go without waiting for power. It is possible to be in the presence yet be alone. Jesus says wait. No matter how I taught you and you ate my body but you have to do something. You can continue fulfilling the Will of God but you need to wait to receive power. Without power you are incapable.
Without power, it will be by might and not by the Spirit. When you wake up and go to work, it needs to be by power. We can go on to Paul after he was struck by lightning and he was blind, he had to go to Ananias so he can pray for him until the scales fell. He had to wait though it was not a matter of the scales falling down, it was a matter that he had to receive something. After three days something came upon him and he had to wait until he received it. He could not start the work of the ministry nor write or pray for the sick people without it. Even so with you, you cannot work without it. Go and wait until you receive power.
All along you have been teaching about immortality and power, but there was nothing challenging it. Now there is a pandemic that challenges the power you have been ministering about. God says you are quiet and settling for your situation instead of confessing life. People are dying because they are no longer confessing immortality. Every challenge reveals something in us. That death, pandemic, or situation that you are faced with, is there to reveal the power that is in you. God says you need to repent and after speak the incorruptible power and immortality. This is the time where Christians should be speaking life day and night confessing the life they want to live.
Are you just sitting listening to teaching without confessing? What we started last year with the confessions was the beginning and it still continues. Those confessions are forever. Why are Christians quiet? When you have the power you cannot keep quiet. The Bible says that when the tongue of fire came and power rested upon them they started speaking in other languages. The first sign to show that power has met this mortal body was through people speaking. Quietness is a sign that the power of God is not there. The evidence that a Christian lacks power is evident in them being quiet.
They started hearing their languages and they could not keep quiet. When power comes you are able to hear all languages because power rests upon you. They were speaking life, immortality, and confessing how rich they were. Father, I do not want to go out without your power. A Christian who is not inspired by the presence to speak is like a soldier without a weapon. Put on the armour of God, and by so doing the sword will speak on your behalf. The situation is there because you are not using your sword. You need to slain this poverty and recession. Take out your sword and speak the Word and let something happen.
This is not a time to just sit and not confess. How long shall I be with you? Stop concentrating on your state. In that state speak the Word of God and declare the goodness of God. Confess that you are born of the incorruptible seed of God. You are the son of God and you are like the wind no one knows where you from or where you are going. Speak the Word.
[Philippians 3: 10]
“That I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death”.
Before you go out confess that you need to know the power of God. You need to have the power of God daily. People are dying and we need the resurrection power. Lockdown has taught us that you cannot go out in public without masks therefore let it be that way as well that we cannot go out without the power of God.
[2 Chronicles 16: 9]
“For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him. In this you have done foolishly; therefore from now on you shall have wars.”
The eyes of the Lord are everywhere. The eyes of the Lord are the seven Spirits of the Lord. When God said ‘wait in Jerusalem and you will receive the Holy Spirit’ – who is the promise? These are the eyes of the Lord going to and fro throughout the whole world and not only the church. Usually, when someone has passed on they would say that their spirit is roaming around. The Holy Spirit is roaming around the world. The Holy Spirit is ready to strengthen those who are committed to Him.
When you are loyal to God you are bound to receive everything. The power of God is ready to strengthen you in the world and not church only. Christians are strong in the church only yet when they go out in the world they come off as weak. It is an error because the power of God is roaming in the world. Some are under the influence of the atmosphere and not the Holy Spirit. Some become strong in church only and not in the world. As you go out you need strength. People do not receive this power because they are not loyal nor are they committed to God in the heart. When you go out you will be strengthened.
[Psalms 66: 18]
“If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear.”
If you sin in your heart the Lord will not hear you. The Lord hears a prayer of a righteous person. There is one prayer from a sinner which God can hear and it is a prayer of repentance. Firstly you need to be loyal and committed to the Lord. Secondly, the sin in your heart makes you weak when you go out. You need to go out with power.
When we have that power in us, it must conquer sin. How can you ask God to have mercy as you see people dying, yet you are not repentant? Repentance is the change of ways and not only in speech. You have sinned against heaven therefore repent. Ask God for forgiveness and plead to be in the right standing with God. To some, your family is dying because of you. Your sins have overshadowed your family because you were their protection, their covering, yet you let them down and now they are drowning because of you. Repent and change your ways, change how you do things, and stop affecting yourself and your family.
When you have sinned against heaven you have sinned against your father. You do not just call me father and leave when you do something wrong, it is not over. That stigma will be with you. When God looks at you, there will always be that tag. The prodigal son could have looked for any father but he had a tag hence he says that he has sinned against heaven. Sinning against your father you end up becoming bitter in your life. Your pride will fool you and prevent you from acknowledging that you have sinned. Acknowledging your wrongdoing is the first step of repentance. Repentance takes place when you change your ways. Many have repented in speech yet in action they have not yet repented. When you sin no more you have completed your deliverance.
[James 1: 7]
“He is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.”
Today you are committed then tomorrow you are not, that is being double-minded. You were once serving God and now you do not. Today you give tomorrow you do not give. Many are double-minded in different things. The Bible in Revelations mentions that you are neither hot nor cold and God is about to spit you out because you are double-minded. All these things prevent us from going out with the presence of God. We are nothing without God.
[Romans 8: 31]
“What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?”
If God is for you nothing shall be against you. If you can feel that the presence is not with you, pray until it comes. Ensure that you do not go without the power of God. Everything that fights against the Word cannot be against you. Nothing will fight you and be against you. Walk out with power and live with it all the days of your life.
