GOD HEARS OUR HEARTS AND NOT OUR ACTIONS

[Romans 8:6 -27]

The mind of the flesh reasoning without the Holy Spirit is death but the mind of the Holy Spirit is life and peace, now and forever. God does not entirely base everything on what we say but He focuses on our hearts, He sees our hearts.  The deed ought to confirm the heart but yet some their deeds are not confirming the heart.

Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth shall speak(See Matthew 12:34) yet there are those who deceive us because what they speak is not from the heart. 

In some instances, many speak what is not from the heart, the abundance. Also because what is said is not from the heart does not mean the mouth won’t speak, one might be carnally in their hearts but yet confess spiritual things and quote scriptures. Many believers, their minds are divided, they might be at church but yet their minds are somewhere else.

God listens to the heart of a person not what they say. What we say and do must confirm what is in our hearts. Any fleshy mind is canal and death. The reason why we confess immortality and yet people are still dying is because our minds are still fleshy. One can be Spiritually for hours but yet be fleshly in seconds, God wants complete redemption of us.

Hence David said in the book of Psalms “Create in me a new heart, a clean and pure” the term pure means one which is completely clean there is no spot or dust. Purity means there is no sign of blemish, blameless lamb. Often it is possible that one can pray for the right reasons and they are at church for the right reasons but yet they envy others and selfishness, and by so doing they revoke the blessings that God has for them.

Whenever we pray it ought to be Christ praying within us because no one knows the Father except the Son. Only the Son(Christ) can worship the Father, only Christ can serve. We say so much with our mouths but yet God only listens to our hearts and He releases what is in our hearts.

Do not find yourself working to put food on your table because the curse to Adam was that he will eat the sweat of his forehead and cultivate the ground(See Genesis 3:17).

Therefore in everything do as though you doing it for the Lord, work as though you working for Christ. One should perceive or consider their salary as additions of what is added, seek the Kingdom of God and all shall be added(See Matthew 6:33). Work for Christ and not your earthly masters.  

Before one can change their dress code or dress sense because they are born again, transformation must start in their hearts. In many instances, we strive to change what is outside and not what is inside, and God is listening to our hearts. Many devote themselves to prayer for hours and conclude that God does not answer prayers, but God answers prayers and He answers our hearts. 

(Verse 26)  “In the same way the Spirit [comes to us and] helps us in our weakness. We do not know what prayer to offer or how to offer it as we should, but the Spirit Himself [knows our need and at the right time] intercedes on our behalf with sighs and groaning too deep for words.” Meaning we do not know how to pray and Holy Spirit ought to pray on our behalf. 

He who searches the hearts of men knows what is in the mind of the Holy Spirit. In everything, the Holy Spirit searches the hearts of saints and yet again knows the heart of the Father. Meaning when the Spirit searches our hearts it must find what is in the heart of the Father. If not, the Holy Spirit cannot pray on our behalf or utter on our behalf what is not in the heart of God. The language of God is love, what is in the heart of the Father is love, not any other language.  

[Luke 16:15]

“And He said to them, “You are those who justify yourselves before men, but God knows your hearts. For what is highly esteemed among men is an abomination in the sight of God.”

When the heart is right with God then He will declare it and not self. We have received a new heart but it needs to be transformed. Indeed envy, jealousy, lies, and judgments will come in the heart but that is merely a knock and you should not welcome those things in your heart, open the door for things which are Spiritually and Godly. Rather be a fool with a pure heart, by all means, keep the heart pure.

Some are not supposed to be in unfavorable seasons they find themselves in but yet because of their hearts, that is where they find themselves. Blessings can be released but yet one does not partake because of the heart they have, a demon of poverty can cling to a heart with anger.  

[John 14: 12-14]

“I assure you and most solemnly say to you, anyone who believes in Me [as Savior] will also do the things that I do, and he will do even greater things than these [in extent and outreach] because I am going to the Father.”

Jesus Christ is the head and the Church is the body, the body cannot survive without the head. Henceforth where the head (Christ) is, it is where the body(Church) is, you cannot separate the two. We ought to set our minds on things above because the only time we can do greater things is when our minds are set on things above. 

Do not focus on your surroundings or the world, set your mind on things above. However, when you set your mind on things above it does not mean your body won’t experience things or be challenged. The church is concerned with wrong things instead of leavening everything to the head(Christ), Jesus should speak through the Church and not the Church speaking on their own accord.
