A SON IS EQUAL TO THE FATHER

Today I am going to teach about a son. Many people criticize the issue of spiritual fathers. The problem is that we are tackling it in a cultural way. God is our Father but not like our biological fathers; same as your spiritual fathers. In any culture, when a son calls a man “papa”, he is saying: “you are superior to me”. In a biblical way, it means we are equal. When you call someone papa you are simply saying we are of the same caliber, we have the same authority. You cannot be a son and have a different authority from your father.

[John 5:18]
“Therefore the Jews sought all the more to kill Him, because He not only broke the Sabbath, but also said that God was His Father, making Himself equal with God”.

According to one of the known cultures, you are not allowed to call God ‘Father’, as they believe that it is blaspheming. The spiritual meaning is that we are equal. A son is equal to his father. This is not only between God and us, but also between me and you. If you come to me and say, my brother or Abraham, I will not be offended. Why is it okay to call God with His name (Jehovah) but not call me Abraham?

Do not try to prove your submission. Submission is spiritual and mutual. Many people are trying to prove that they submit by kneeling down. There are many who knelt down not to honor but just to prove. They do not understand the mystery of honoring. Submission does not want you to prove, you just have to be. Never submit to someone who does not have submission. For me to be your father, I have to submit to you. That is what was difficult for Peter to accept when Jesus had to wash his feet. He wanted to prove. Jesus said ‘do this to one another’.

As a minister, you need to be able to cleanse. You can never cleanse someone without submitting. It takes a father to kneel down and submit; for you to submit to him. Today I am here ministering to you whether you give or not, because I am submitting. I am not fathering you to benefit. We do not save souls to get something, but because we have been mandated and we are submitting. Submission is mutual.

Many men of God come to visit me and they esteem me as this ‘highly anointed’ man of God. They would find me working and laughing with my sons at the farm, and they would say that my sons do not honor me. I told one of them that honor is not demanded.

Being a father does not make you someone special. When I call you son, I am saying that we are equal. When you get born again, you are not automatically a son. You first become a child. The bible says in John 1, ‘To those who believe, He has given them a right to become children of God’.

[Galatians 4:6]
“And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, “Abba, Father!”

There is a Spirit that you have received; the Spirit of sonship. To show that I am your father, the mystery is you have my spirit in you, hence you dream me, you hear me speaking when you are doing wrong. It was not wrong for the Israelites to be baptized into Moses, but it was wrong for them to be baptized into Moses only. You must have the Spirit of God as well. Papa Lesego said that ‘some souls are crying for him, to a point where bodies can no longer recognize their own spirits’. Their souls have went out to cry to the one who has been feeding them. I am the overseer of your soul. Your soul knows me.

You left the church but I am still appearing in your dreams, your soul remembers me. Your flesh is the one fighting what your soul longs for. It is the flesh committing mistakes. Our flesh is temporary, remember we have immortal bodies. The flesh condemns the soul because of its weaknesses. Be careful, are you taking the decision based on the container or the real you? Imagine taking a decision based on what you are wearing. Do not make decisions based on your flesh.

The dreams that you are having is your soul knocking on the door of the flesh saying “remember where we come from. You cannot just take me anywhere, I have a father”. The soul is already a son. You are not only baptized into the Holy Spirit, but you are also baptized into me. The Holy Spirit might have left them, but the spirit of your father can never leave you, instead, it can reconnect you to the Holy Spirit. The Israelites remained with the spirit of Moses even when God was no longer with them.

How can a father go through labor pains while he cannot baptize you into himself? He goes through labor pains so that you can receive his spirit. You are not baptized only into the Holy Spirit but also into Unknown. You can choose to be worldly but Unknown will always speak because you are baptized into him. It is not only your souls that are crying, God is crying as well but He is crying to your spiritual father. You might not be here, but God answers you through me. Whenever the Israelites prayed, God answered them through Moses. Some of you might have backslid or you have changed spiritual fathers but God answers you through me. You still have principles, you kneel down and pray but God does not answer you, I have your answers while you are not here. Your answers are at the father’s feet.

[Romans 8:15]
“For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father”.

The moment you start fearing me, just know that there is another spirit fighting the spirit that you have received. The Spirit of sonship does not come with fear but it brings you closer to God. Sonship means I am weak, take care of me. The moment you want to reveal yourself as a strong person, you must know that you are not a son. A son is naked and weak to the father.

The biggest problem is that Christians cannot discern wrong spirits. If you cannot discern, just use signs. When you have the Spirit of the Father you have boldness to approach the throne. Having the boldness to approach the throne does not mean that you will not be corrected. What is the throne without judgment? Yet, we approach it boldly.

When you are a son, you run to judgment. I began with John 5 not to say that I am superior than you but to show you that you have become less than what I am, and the only way you can be equal to me is by being a son. You have not received the spirit of fear but the Spirit that makes you run to the father. Your wickedness is what your father wants to deal with; so you should run to him.

I got born again when I was 13 years old, and many people have been asking me what has kept me for all these years that I have been born again. Obedience is what kept me, but within the period there were mistakes. It is not how you disobey now that stands, but how you will be obedient after you have been disobedient.

Your biggest mistake is not your mistake but it is not listening to the voice that says go back. That is the mistake that you need to rectify. Why do you want to come to the father when you are perfect, but you know that you were not perfect in the beginning? Your father accepted you with faults only to deal with you and wash you, but now you want to go back to him perfect because you forgot how He cleansed you. Come as you are. Come while you are dating and let me rebuke you. That baby is not going anywhere, come with that baby and now let us teach you how to raise that baby in a godly way.

Many people do not want to come as weak as they are, but they want to be perfect. You want to come to the father when you have made it not when you have failed. “Well done” does not only come when you have made it. The level of your obedience is not determined by how 100 % you have been obedient but it is measured when humbleness is displayed. It is pride that tells you that you cannot come back because people are looking at you.

It can give you eyes that are not even there so that you might think that people are looking at you, while it is the one (pride) looking at you. Pride wants to be fed, so it will give you eyes that are not there so that you can feed it. You do not want to be judged and you act like you came perfect. No one said anything when you came with your faults, but now you care about what would people say. Where you got the strength to say no to sin is where you do not want to go. There is no hope if you cannot go to where strength is derived from.

What makes Mary Magdalene significant is not the perfume. She did not care what people would say, her focus was on running to the feet of Jesus. Her tears that they laughed at was soon going to be a teaching to them. The very same person who was laughing at Mary is the one who denied Jesus. Mary only listened to Jesus and she switched off all her senses of hearing what other people would say; she stayed at the feet. When Jesus said ‘he who loves much’; He was not speaking about the perfume, but the coming back of Mary. Her return was love.

Do not stop yourself because of someone who will not be there forever. Imagine if Mary did not go to the feet of Jesus because she was afraid of Judas; while he also had his weaknesses. It is a behavior of people to look at what is in another person’s eye, not theirs. The reason why I stop others from serving when they have sinned, is not because I am afraid of what would people say when they see someone pregnant but worshipping; the reason is I want them to deal with their mistakes.

It does not take 9 months for someone to repent, they can repent sooner even before their stomach starts showing. When they have repented, I as their father would tell them that they can go back because now they are holy as I am holy regardless of the visible pregnancy or not.

[Luke 15:14-22]
“But when he had spent all, there arose a severe famine in that land, and he began to be in want”.

To every son who has left the glory, you are eating with pigs now. Even the cats that are at church are better than you because they eat the Word of God. Arise and come to your father. You are not coming to any of your brothers. You have sinned against me and heaven. You cannot fix it with heaven as long as you have not fixed it with the father. There are some people who are in other churches, they think that they are forgiven while they are not. You need to go back to the father. You only have a right to leave a father who is disqualified by God; and such you will see them by their fruits.

The problem is that many sons want to come back and be in positions that they were in before. Be in a state where it is sufficient for you to be in the presence of the father, listening to the Word of God. Not thinking about a position gave the prodigal son a position. When you come back looking for a position, we know that it was not repentance but positions. What is it that matters to you, being a worshipper or a son? You are a son before you can start serving.

Think of your soul first before you think of a position. Do not go back thinking of a position but go back wanting to be in the presence of the father. Get rid of that mentality, humbleness will save you. Your restoration begins in your humbleness. There is peace that you had and you will never get it anywhere; it is only found at the feet of the father. there are things that you wanted which you thought would give you peace but they are not.

[Proverbs 13:1]
“A wise son heeds and accepts, he is a result of his father’s instruction and discipline, but a scoffer does not listen to rebuke”.

Who are we without rebukes? You will grow up and you will realize that a child has to be corrected.

[Proverbs 3:11-12]
“My son, do not despise the chastening of the Lord, nor detest His correction; for whom the Lord loves He corrects, just as a father the son in whom he delights”.

I correct you because I love you and your brothers rebuke you because they love you. Do not fight and resent. Do not push yourself far away when you are rebuked. You cannot be a son without being disciplined. You cannot learn from your mistakes alone, come and let me rebuke you first. I know that you know that what you did is wrong but have I rebuked you? I need to discipline you if you are a son.

[Hebrews 12:8-9]
“If you are not disciplined and everyone undergoes discipline then you are not legitimate, not true sons and daughters at all”.

Everyone who is still in Yeshua is disciplined. Christianity is a journey and there are many mistakes along the way. When you make mistakes at the father’s feet you will be disciplined. You being away makes you an illegitimate son. My biological father disciplined me and I love him very much. I am not your father if I do not discipline you. I cannot discipline you if you run away, come back. Be naked before the father. I am your spiritual father because I take care of your soul. Do not run away and reject the discipline of God. He disciplines us for our own good.

[1 John 2:14-15]
“I have written to you, fathers, because you have known Him who is from the beginning. I have written to you, young men, because you are strong, and the Word of God abides in you, and you have overcome the wicked one”.

The problem is that you want to place yourself in the position of the father. You want to conquer the world alone, but you need the father. Stop trying to fix yourself and run to the father for you to get help. That is the only way you can conquer the world. You might have decided in your flesh but your soul is crying. The dreams that you are having, the memories and not having peace is a sign to show that your soul is far away from the father. You are not a bastard. The soul needs food that it was eating. Humble yourself and go where the father is. Forget about everything. I am not saying I will just leave you, but I will correct you.

Many are delaying their restoration while their soul is speaking to them. You are having encounters, my soul is speaking to your soul. Run back, attend prayers, and come where I am. There is restoration but you are still sitting at home. Forget about who says what. Admit that you have fallen so that you can be restored. Your restoration starts in your humbleness and obedience. Do not try to restore yourself; you are not a father, you do not have the tools to restore.
