‘ALLOW THE WORD TO DEFEAT YOU’

As the pastors were ministering, the Word hit me hard. Sometimes the Word hits me but not for me but for my sons. When the Word is directed to the sons, I can hear that. As a father, you are connected to the son, and in that you are able to know when sons are going through something in their lives. When a message is ministered and it addresses what the son is going through, it hits the father as well. I accept the message even though I am not going through that as a father.

Even though I am not challenged with what the son is challenged with, I can feel what he is going through because I am connected with them. When there is dryness in the son, I can feel it because we are connected. Remember that we are connected with the spiritual umbilical cord. When a woman is pregnant, there are times she will say she is hungry but the truth is that the baby is the one who is hungry. There are times a pregnant woman sleeps because of the baby. You must know that we are one. Jesus said that He and the Father are one and the Father is in Him as He is in Him. Likewise with us, we are one. What you feel and go through I go through it as well.

Most of the times, my remarks towards my sons are true even though I joke about them. As a father I can feel and see what you are going through. When the scripture [John 15] was read, God was speaking to me. God is speaking to you, yet He is speaking to me. Many when they seek restoration, they want God to be the one who abides in them first instead of them abiding in God first. The bible says, ‘Abide in Me and I will abide in you’.  We do not want to abide in God first whereas He has taken out a command that we ought to abide in Him first.

God says that if you want to follow Me, you need to pick up your cross and follow, not that He will come and help you pick it up. If you seek a relationship with the Father, it has to begin with you taking a step . The message is an outreach to you. When there is an outstretched hand towards you, you need to stretch out your hand as well. Many want God to abide in them while God has sent His message. Since God has sent out His message, it is your turn to abide. Give yourself up.

The problem that Christians have is that when the Word comes, they do not welcome or receive the Word with an open heart. Hence I say, a time whereby I will be bearing fruits for you is over. Now it is time you become what I am. It is time you become the tree that I am. It is time where you will be able to stand against the world as I do. It is time for you to have my thoughts and make decisions as I do. It is time you become who I am instead of borrowing what belongs to the Father. Some of you the fruits that you borrowed sustained you yet they still not sufficient. You need to become as the father is. When we want a tree, we start by opening the ground so we can put the seed inside.

As long you do not allow the Word to defeat you, you will not produce. You need to allow the Word to defeat and win you over and not the other way round. You are not won by the Word because you are still standing. Someone needs to surrender and be defeated by the Word of the Father. When the bible speaks about the prodigal son that he came back to his senses, it means that he became defeated by the Word that he already had received.

The problem with many today is that they are still standing and are not defeated by the Word. If there is something that needs to defeat you is the Word. You need to allow the anointing to defeat you for you to stand. As long there is still a battle between you and God, you can never be blessed like Jacob. God has to twist your hip so that you can be defeated.

Most of you are wrestling and fighting the Word instead of allowing it to defeat you. Allow the Word to depress and overwhelm your mind. In that way, the voice you will hear is the Word. When you are defeated by His Word and command, all you can do is surrender. Enter into the prison; do not be dragged. Be defeated and surrender. A time for us to be prisoners because we are dragged is over.

For you to become a tree, allow the Word to defeat you; surrender to the Word. God says He delights in a broken heart. Many sacrifice their lives, drinking, dating etc but still they are not defeated by the Word. Hence you see them after they sacrificed they still go back to the sacrifice and picked up where they left off. When you have been defeated, the heart is broken. Whatever you let go of, you can never amend or put together. A broken heart can never be amended. Let the Word break your heart. God delights in such a heart because it is defeated.

The only way you can become a tree, ceasing being a bucket, is when you can allow the water that you came to draw to defeat you. A bucket can overflow when its limits are broken. What has been measured in the bucket becomes false because it now overflows. Allow the Word to defeat you. You are still alive and contending with the Word as well as your Christian life because you heart is not broken. Open up your heart to receive the seed (Word) and you will become the tree. Many have received me with their hearts but not broken hearts. Hence I am still competing with their hearts. God does not want to compete with your heart. He delights in a broken heart. Many have allowed God to compete with their hearts.

[Psalms 51: 1-17]

The truth is not denying that you are a sinner but accepting that you are a sinner. It says that from the time you were conceived, you were a sinner. What needs to defeat and paralyse you is the fact that you are a sinner before you can do anything. Many of you are counting what you did hence you fail to recognise the grace of God. That is why the grace cannot draw you from where you at.

You think it is your deeds that make you sin. You condemn yourself which is why you cannot go back to God and allow Him to make you a new person. What needs to defeat you is that already you were born into this sin. Therefore you will understand that you need new birth. You need to be made a tree. Yet for you to become a tree, you need to understand that you need to break the heart that was born into sin.
The truth is that I am a sinner. Because of that, and accepting it, my heart needs to be broken.

It is not what the heart has been taught, but it is what the heart has been born into. This heart needs to be broken for God to create a new one. We do not deny who we were born out of. We need to allow the Word to defeat you. You allowed the Word to defeat you when you thought that it is because of what you do, but then the Word comes and tells you that you were born like that.

The Word defeats you then you must surrender. If I am born like this, it is not a matter of what I did but how I was born. I need to be given a new heart. If a car was not made with that dirt, you can take it to the car wash for it to be washed. Yet it is not to say that you are changing the car because you know that it did not come like that. Many of you are trying to wash away sins instead of being broken hearted. You are not allowing God to break you.

Enter the potter’s house for the Father to deal with you. Allow the Father to put you in the hand. The very hand that blesses you is used for rebuke and correction. Allow the Father to wound and crush you from the inward parts. Allow your heart to be crushed so that you can become something. Unless you become nothing and disappear in the hands of the Father, He can never make you a new person.

You can become a tree whilst you are still holding on to the tree that you were born out of. Allow the Father to break and deal with you. Receive what the Father is doing in joy. There is no new person while you can still walk. There can never be a new person while you can still speak. There can never be a new person whilst you still defending yourself; still reasoning! You have never allowed the Father to crush you.

(Verse 8) Allow the Father to enter into your heart and break it. Allow the Word to hurt you so you can receive joy. I receive joy because I have allowed myself to be in the hands of the Father, for Him to be able to crush me. While you still reason with yourself, you cannot be crushed. Newness can never come while there is still a trace of the old. There is a seed that you have been born with but it was not to destroy you, it is for new beginnings.

From that sinful person that you were since from your mother’s womb, for God that is new beginnings. He wants that to be destroyed and crushed. Allow new beginnings to enter and let it crush the old, from there a new tree will come out. Allow me to crush your will. Allow me to crush your thoughts. Allow me to shut doors for you. Allow me to deal with you. You want me to fish you yet you do not want me to remove the scales. I am a fisherman so I do not just catch fish and put it on the market. I am a fisherman, I catch you and take you to the kitchen because I am the potter. I look at you like clay and put you in my hand and crush you and make you nothing so you can become something.

You cannot be my son while you are still holding on to your original birth. You were born in this world and have a right to enjoy the world but the minute you become my son, I take you out of the world. Allow the Word to crush you. I catch you and I take you to the kitchen. That is why after catching you, I take you and we sit in the table. Who do you think we are eating? Unless the old person is on the table, you can never become a new person. You need to be taken to the table as you are the old person. You need to be broken. You cannot want to become a new person while you are still holding on to the old man. Before I open a door, I close. Before I give you my thoughts, I flush away all other thoughts. Before I can plant, I take away.

There are things that I cannot deal with as a father because you are in the way; you defend and protect them. What kind of a fish are you, which still fights for itself? A fish does not have hands hence it does not know how to fight. Yet you find fishes knowing how to fight. They take out their hands to fight, exclaiming which parts they do not want the father to deal with (i.e academics, relationship etc). What kind of a fish are you? That knows how to fight and argue with the father. There is a reason why a fish does not have hands. Make me hear joy and gladness, and not the sound of the bones. It is the Father who must break the bones and wound the son. I am the one who is entitled to hurt you and block your ways, so you can be a new person. I do not send an old person to University or in marriage; I break you first. When you go out, you go as a sheep among wolves. You will not go out as a wolf in sheep skin. I need to break the wolf in you to produce the sheep.

If you think I am going to twist your hip like Jacob, then you are mistaken. I am going to break you. I will now come and water because a seed has been crushed and a new tree springs forth. When people see that tree, they will be seeing the Father as well. That bucket mentality needs to be broken. It is time that you become the spring of water. When the Samaritan woman left, she was broken. Jesus had to break her. Jesus says to the Samaritan woman, go and call your husbands. She then replied by saying that she does not have any husband. Now Jesus says that indeed you do not have. Jesus confronted sin so that she can be new. Now she had to accept that she is no longer that person. Do you think Jesus was lying when she told her to go call her husbands? God was speaking to a wife but after she left she was no longer a wife.

The Samaritan woman did not go back to the husbands but she went to the city calling on people to come and see the man who taught her the truth. Her heart has been broken. Some of you hide your problems before the Father.

(Verse 10)Create a new heart and not wash it. You need to create because the other one is crushed as it is no longer there. Most sinners are far away from the presence because they are not ready to be crushed. You push yourself to the presence even though the Father wants to cast you away. “Do not cast me away from your presence”, it means that I will push myself to the presence until I see a new heart.

(Verse 12) It is possible for the joy to be restored. Now you are no longer a wolf but a sheep. He will teach transgressors the way through his action, and not speech. His life will teach transgressors and show them a new heart that is being created.

(Verse 16) How many have sacrificed a lot of things? You will hear a person saying that they sacrificed. Remember that you have borrowed fruits. We do not sacrifice. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit. When you sacrifice something, it means you still own it. How about we break the one who likes sacrificing? For it is possible that they can still go back and pick up what they were sacrificing. They can still pick the life they let go of. How about we crush you completely? You must allow me to break you as a son. I shut all doors so I can open new doors. Then you will be like me without having borrowed fruits. When you see that you are wrong, you need to run to the Father. When the Spirit convicts you, become near so that I can break you. You will no longer have a bucket mentality but you will produce more fruits.

[John 15: 2]
“Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit”.

The process of a branch being cut off and the other one being pruned is the same; you will get hurt. The other will produce fruits. We use the same sword to cut off branches that do not bear fruit as well as prune them. It is so that they may produce more fruits. It is the very same sword that cuts the branch that does not bear fruits and also prune the branch that bears fruits. If the branch bears fruits, it means there must be a fruit that begins in you.
There is a fruit that you need to bear before you bear other fruits. That fruit is being humble – acknowledging when you are wrong. Repentance is a fruit. Many fail to produce it hence they end up being cut and thrown in the fire. You cannot repent while you have pride. You repent by humbling and admitting that you are wrong. That is the first fruit that you need to bear when you are being pruned. You will feel the pain, though at the end you will produce more fruits.

Be one with me and be the tree that I am. How can I be a tree if I was not planted? How can I be planted if I was not crushed? I needed to be crushed. When you come back to the father, that is a state that you need to enter into. Even though the world has not fully crushed you, you need to come back as though you are crushed. Allow yourself to be crushed. Some are waiting for the world to crush them but you need to put yourself in that state first. In that way you will be able to be produced as a new person. You have been crushed by the world and allowed the Word to defeat you.
