The Word must lead us to worship, this does not only happen with the majority of those who are ready to receive. When revival comes it comes with destructions, similarly to the story of Jesus, He was arrested at night because they did not want to cause riots or have large number of people. Although it was at night there were multitudes to witness the crucifixion, they wanted to crucify Him silently.
The crucifixion of Jesus brings resurrection and our birth, the devil knew the power of the death of Jesus. The only price to pay was death, the devil was not threatened by the healing and deliverance but what threatened him was the death of Jesus, because the Cross was the only reconciliation between men and God.
Judas betrayed Jesus and we all know that the devil was the reason behind the betrayal however he did not know that this will lead to Jesus being crucified. With that said whenever there is a revival there will be an uprise to prevent/stop the revival.

This storm took two weeks and they were fighting it. It was in the middle of the sea and they all thought that they will die. There is a place where God want us to get to and although He won’t stop the storm but yet the storm won’t kill us.
Paul gathered sticks to make fire although it was raining, he assembled the fire and a viper went out of the fire and bit his hand, but the poison was powerless he then shook the viper and threw it in the fire. This was prophetic, a storm before the revival that Paul was bringing into that island. There is something that we are carrying that the devil wants but yet he won’t succeed. One is not distinguished by the anointing they carry yet what they go through, this is what reveal that truly you are walking with God, because the devil does not fight what is not in the purpose of God.
Similarly to the story of the well of Abraham, the Philistines closed it (See Genesis 26:15) They knew that closing the well will kill Israel, but Isaac went on to dig up the well.
