ARE OUR ANCESTORS DEMONS?

Now coming to the issue of ancestors, those who said ancestors are demons are fools. I believe that I have ancestors, and they are not demons. Abraham, David, etc had ancestors. Everyone has ancestors, this is the generation that you are from (your forefathers). I have my mother, father, and grandparents. They are not demons but mere human beings who made their choices on earth whether to accept Jesus Christ or not. What determines whether they go to hell or not it is who they served while on earth? My grandparents can never be demons, when a person passes on demons take advantage of the open space that is in human beings. For example, when you lose someone close to you and you end up longing for him/her, or to communicate with him/her, demons take the image of that person and can appear in your dreams claiming to be that person. They can even manifest through witchdoctors yet they are just demons taking advantage of the state you are in. So the person who died is dead and can never come back, the bible says that we must never communicate to the dead. When people lose someone they feel the need to speak to them and the demons take advantage of that. So we cast out the demon which pretends to be your loved one because he/she is dead and can never communicate to you. They are dead and silenced. Demons take advantage of the image of the one you love, and when you worship them that’s when we say it is ancestral worship.

So now what about Jesus? Is He the dead also? Jesus is not the dead, He died and after three days He resurrected from the dead. He is not like any other god who died without resurrecting. His grave is empty, He is alive and He is not a dead God. He said that the temple will be destroyed and rebuilt again after three days, He was referring to His body. The bible tells that He did not only appear to the twelve disciples only, but He appeared to many people at the same time, which was an evidence of His resurrection. He walked on earth for forty days, and people saw and ate with Him. Thomas touched Him and He showed him His wounds, so we do not serve a dead God. The bible says that Jesus ascended up high, He was taken up by the cloud. Many may argue that Jesus is dead. Your ancestors are not demons but the spirits that come behind demanding goats and chickens are demonic. John 14:6, no one can go to God except through Jesus. Jesus says He is the way (not the only way), the truth (not the only truth), and the life (not the only life), but no one can go to the Father except through Him. This means there are many ways, there are people who go to God through Buddha, Mahomed, Lekhanyane, Shembe, or Ancestral worship but the only way to the Father is through Jesus Christ. When the man was seeking a way to God and couldn’t find it, He had to give Himself as the only solution of becoming the way. I can never be the way to God for you, but Jesus is the only way to God. When the man felt like there is God in this world and began to seek Him, we did so in all ways, yet God saw it fit to give Himself as the only way.

We also need to talk about the authentication of the Bible. This book is not only for reading but there is supernatural power. A person can fake speaking in tongues or falling down, but there are encounters that no person can fake such as healing. There are people who the medical report said they were sick and they got healed without any trace of medication? People argue that we can’t demonstrate with this and that, but they don’t question the supernatural power that comes with it. Isn’t supernatural that a sick person drank petrol and got healed? Some ate poison and never died, so we shouldn’t ignore that it is supernatural.
