Are you permitted to call Jesus ‘‘man’’? – Part 1

[1 Corinthians 11:1], ‘Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ… (3) But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ and the head of the woman is man and the head of Christ is God’.

Every woman must cover her head and the man must uncover his head – to reveal Christ. The church is the woman, and the head is Christ – the man. We know Jesus is man and Christ is God. Do not remain forever in the standard of Jesus, but be transformed and conform to the standard of Christ. Yes we know that Jesus is man (human), but the question is, are you permitted to say that Jesus is man? Calling him man is rejection of Christ. If Christ honoured Jesus, then who are you to dishonour Jesus?

Christ being in the body of Jesus was submission and obedience unto Jesus. Who is the head of the woman? It is man – Jesus. But who is the head of all man? It is Christ. Do not despise Jesus while He reveals Christ. We spiritual Fathers are permitted to call Jesus a man just for the purpose of teaching. If you are not allowed to dishonour your spiritual Father then what more about Jesus? You can’t bow down to Christ and not bow to Jesus. The problem with the Pharisees is that they kept on seeing man in Jesus. When you look at Jesus you must see God. Jesus was the first man that became God, so do not dishonour him. Jesus is the cup of glory; which carries what is glorious inside – Christ.

Do not despise the man who was capable of becoming God. He was the first person to become Christ. You can’t reject the door and accept the entire house – you have to accept them all – together they are one. When you accept Christ, then you have first accepted the Lord Jesus. You can’t go to the Father without going through Jesus first. He needs to be honoured.

[Philippians 2:10], “that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow… (11) And every tongue confess that Jesus is Lord, to the glory of God the father”, when you say Jesus is Lord you have recognised Him as Christ. The Israelites couldn’t accept Jesus as Lord but they accepted Him as man. Are you permitted to call Jesus ‘man’?

The mystery of Christ is in the Lamb; the power of the Lion is seen in the Lamb. What seems to be a test to you might not be the same to someone. What challenges Christ is not to walk on top of water but it is Him being lower than angels – becoming a Lamb. His mystery is in the Lamb, when He went and dwelt in Jesus and the Father was pleased. The Glory comes when the Lion is able to dwell within the Lamb.

[Romans 10:9], ‘’that if thou shalt confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead thou shall be saved.’’ When you confess that Jesus s Lord, what are you actually confessing? Woe to you Judas, he who betrayed Him! Pilate is not the one who killed Jesus. The people who gave commands to crucify Him were they permitted and authorised to declare death upon Him? But for the purpose of fulfilment, it had to be done hence, Pilate washed his hands because it was not his decision to make.

Get the moral of the teaching, do not go around calling Jesus man. [John 1:9], reads ‘‘that was the true light, which lights every man that comes into the world’’, when God said let there be light He was light Himself. Jesus came as light to man and He was rejected. People rejected Jesus in acceptance of Christ. But in the bible He says ‘‘because they rejected Him they have also rejected Him who sent Him’’ – see [1 Samuel 8:7]. Christ chose to reveal Himself though Jesus.

In [Matthew 5:14], it says, ‘’you are the light of the world’’. You must keep on shining as man. You are a light while you are man on earth. Before all these things He was the light. People bring curses upon their lives by speaking where they are not permitted to speak. Touch Jesus and see what will happen. Touching Jesus is like touching the heart of God. People are struggling out there because they speak where they are not permitted to speak. Do not find yourself speaking bad even about a man who was previously used by God. The rejection of God is not permission for you to speak. God denies you from speaking badly about the fallen; imagine how He feels when you call Jesus man.

[John 12:36], ‘’while you have the light, believe in the light that you may be the children of the light …’’, He says walk with me while you still have the light because there will come a time, where the light will be taken away. How is the light taken away? Before Him there is someone with the greater light, so when someone tries to see Jesus, they then see Christ (the greater light).

[John 9:17-22], ‘’Then they turned again to the blind man, ‘’what have you to say about him? …’’, ‘’ … (18) They still did not believe that he had been blind …’’, (21) … Ask him, he is of age’’. His parent replied as such because they were afraid. For the Jews had agreed already that if any man confesses He (Jesus) was the Christ, he should be put out of the synagogue. Jesus is Lord and He is Christ also. Hence every knee will bow and every mouth will confess. Do not despise the cup otherwise Christ Himself will defend the cup against you. They were rejecting Jesus while waiting for another Messiah.

[1 Corinthians 12:1], ‘’Now concerning spiritual gifts brethren do not be ignorant… wherefore I give you to understand that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calls Jesus accursed and that no man can say that Jesus the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost’’, do you see how many have lost the Holy Spirit? No one can acknowledge Him as Lord unless through the Spirit. The stone of offense, the rock that causes many to fall is not outside but right inside the house of God. Jesus didn’t come to deal with external affairs, but He is dealing with the body [church].
