‘AT THE NAME: A PLACE IN US’

[Philippians 2:6-11]
“Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that ’at’ the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”

Usually when we say raise your hands above we lift up our hands, but spiritually when we speak of what is above we do not necessarily mean up in the sky, but “above” is in our bellies because God is enthroned in us. The Bible says that out of our bellies will flow rivers of living water (John 7:38), and remember that John saw a river from the throne of God (Revelation 22). So if God is enthroned in us, it means there is a throne in us with a river of life just like in heaven.

Furthermore, God gave Him (Jesus) a name that is above all names, and we carry the name of the Lord inside of us. Therefore, what is “above all” is in us. Hence, the Apostle Paul said that we carry the death of Christ in us so that His resurrection may be manifested in us. So we carry Christ in us, He is inside of us.
God exalted Christ by allowing Him to dwell in us. That is why the book of John says that they (the world) will look for Him but they will not find Him, but we will because He will be in us. He says that where He is going we cannot come, it is true because we cannot go inside of us, but He is in us. So what is above is ’in’ us, He is within us. God gave Him a name above all names and that is in us. Since we have Jesus Christ in us, therefore, out of our bellies shall flow rivers of life.

“That at the name of Jesus…” – The minute it says ‘at’ it means it is a place. Not ‘in’ the name but it says ‘at’ the name; which speaks of a place. There are things which come before God and they find ’at’ the name, they find a place. It says when two or three gather in My name meaning a name is a place where we gather. We do not gather ‘by’ His name but we gather ‘in’ His name. Since we are ’in’ the name, anything that finds us, it finds us ’at’ the name. Whatever that comes to us it will find us ’at’ the name. It will find us at the door and our door is the name. All spiritual things have been summed in us. All spiritual things that happen they happen ’in’ us because that is where the river flows. So when corona comes in you it finds a name in you. We carry the name of the Lord in us. We raise His banner inside of us. So whatever that comes and tries to attack us, it finds the name in us. We have our Lord Jesus Christ in us.

It says that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, meaning that God allows it to be formed but it shall not prosper. We can never know that indeed it does not prosper if it does not try to destroy you. All this time Jesus was hiding and running away until He offered Himself to them because weapons are formed we need to allow them to do whatever and see if they will prosper. He said that no one can take His life away, but He laid it down. Moreover, He was handed over along with lying down His life. Jesus could have just laid Himself to the cross, but He allowed the cause of death to take its course in His body. So it is high time we see who will bow down first. No matter how many people get infected, you carry something that is far greater in you.

When coronavirus comes to you it has to bow down and confess that indeed this is God. To you, corona will be flu. So whether you have tested positive or not, relax because in you there is something greater. You carry Christ in you and because you carry Him, whatever comes in you it will find Christ standing, and at the name of Jesus Christ, every knee shall bow. So let it bow down to you. We have received the baptism of the dead. Resurrection power is the same power that gives us immortality. So you cannot believe in the resurrection and not believe in immortality. The bible says that the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead will quicken our mortal bodies, meaning the very same Spirit that raises, is the same one that quickens. So you cannot believe in the resurrection of that day but do not believe in the quickening of now.

The person who does not believe in the Spirit quickening his body cannot believe in the resurrection. A person who does not believe in immortality now is the same person who says that he will receive Jesus Christ on the other side so he believes Jesus for the other side and not here. We believe the Holy Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead and will quicken our mortal body. Three people at the cross, Jesus and the two thieves were all crucified and they died. So Jesus allowed Himself to be like the world. Many thieves were crucified there, but Jesus allowed Himself to be like the world except that when it happened to Him, after three days He resurrected and the two thieves did not resurrect. He was crucified like the thieves but when it came to Him, any weapon that was formed did not prosper but to the thieves, it prospered. As a result, they never resurrected. God will allow you into the den of lions so that He may close their mouths.

You are baptized into the baptism of the death of Jesus. Paul says that we die so that you may live. So when you are baptized into the baptism of the death of Jesus you will go through death just like other people but only to rise. You will be quickened. When death tries to kill you there will be quickening of your mortal body. When the bible says that by His stripes we are healed, He did not bother Himself by searching which disease will affect you. So relax you have conquered. We are from above and in us we carry Christ. Do not be tossed by the winds while you are a wind.
