BE THANKFUL AND SURRENDER TO THE WILL OF GOD

[1 Samuel 1:5-8]

We always seek the Will of God and when it happens, we pray against it. A blessing is not according to how you are pleased. It was a blessing for Hannah’s womb to be closed. Some are not going to be like Hannah, to some you find that it is closed permanently and when people look at it, they see it as a curse or an attack yet it’s a blessing because it’s the hand of the Lord doing it. Become spiritually sensitive so that you can see the blessing of God in the things that do not favour the world. In things that when the world looks at them, they see a disadvantage, but you see a blessing.

Hannah was not attacked, she didn’t have a medical condition because it was the Lord who had closed her womb. What happens around you can make you lose focus and not see the Will of God in your life. Her prayer was not according to the spirit. When you have a need for something you lose what you were supposed to be thankful for. Christians tend not to appreciate what they have and start to ask for what they do not have. You can desire what is in Egypt (which you need to be a slave to get it) while you are given something you never toiled for. Some of you lose your position in Christ because of what you want.

There are some things that we need and we cannot have them while serving at the feet. Some positions in Christ will cost you what you need. Some it’s not that they are not supposed to be married but God knows that when that marriage comes the worshiper in you will die. God would rather keep you to Himself, rather than give you what will make Him lose you forever. Marriage can be a blessing to you but at what cost? A job can be a blessing to you but at what cost? How important is Jesus our Lord and Master to you? If what you need can stand before you, will you receive it at the cost of Christ? When God knows your problem, He will deny you some things because He knows that in your problem there is no solution.

When the love of money cannot be uprooted in you then God doesn’t have to give you money. God knows us, when He denies you something He knows why, and you don’t know why. Accept who you are in Christ and stop trying to become someone else. A good thing can be a threat to you. God is the one who closes the womb not the devil and there is a reason for that. I declare that in disobedience the spirit will lead you to be obedient. If it takes you being sick to give attention to God let it be.

You are not Judas, you are Peter, and if you go back to fishing He will collect you. It is undisturbed peace when you are in the Will. The minute you go out of the Will, peace leaves you, and you become unsettled. The sea had to deny Peter fish for the sake of his salvation. Let the world deny you your desires so that you can be aligned with Him and know that He is Lord. Surrender, don’t become like Hannah. When God closes the womb do we go and say He is evil?

Understand that God can operate in such mysteries. A mystery can work out to your disadvantage. You look at things and they are not going your way yet it is God. When you are in the Will of God some things happen because God allowed them, all things worketh for good for those who are in the Lord. It is good to be denied some things.

Be thankful. Look at your situation and say, “thank you” and stop praying saying “God change my situation”. In you saying ‘Thank you’, whatever falls off just know that it is God blessing you rather than you manipulating the anointing. You must live in the perfect Will of God. God closed the womb for a reason and yet the one that kept on provoking her caused her to have a prayer. It was not a prayer of the Spirit but this was another woman praying in her. Pray always in the Spirit, not in envy or competition but it must be the Spirit that leads you. The Spirit can’t pray in you by competing with another one.

(Verse 8) You can fast all you want as long it’s not the Will of God it’s not fasting because you were not led by the Spirit. Even in fasting, you must be led by the Spirit not entering because you want something. Hannah went on not eating and praying, and someone might think this is a mighty prayer but to God (husband) this is nothing, it’s weeping and hunger. God is asking you today that is what you are looking for, is He not better than ten times it. In Hannah praying to have a baby, she is praying against the Will. Your prayer must not be full of grief because someone is provoking you.

[Acts 9:10]

Some of you would have gone everywhere seeking deliverance and praying against the scales. Paul comes and says “no one taught me, but I was taken to the day that the Lord was slain”. In him being blind, great and mighty things were ministered to him. Mysteries were given to him personally and he was taught by Jesus. What you are going through is so that personally the Lord may teach you. It was important for Paul to be blind for those three days, same as it might be important for you to not have what you want because there is a great commission upon you and there is something great that God is doing with you.

At times we are the ones causing the delay in our lives because when God wants to do something in our lives we go elsewhere to look for help. You can’t see the hand of God in the place called the valley of death. When God puts you in a moment where He wants you to Himself and wants every destruction to move away many don’t see it like that. All they see is a curse while God is busy.

When it’s time for God to align you and you are walking astray it will cost you. The Cross comes at a cost. The Will of God comes at a cost, it doesn’t come cheap. After Paul was blinded for three days his sight never returned to its normal state, he was partially blind forever. What have you lost for salvation? There is no way you can be in Christ and not lose something. When you come to Christ you must lose something, some of these things are things that benefited you. As a Christian, there should be evidence that you have been crucified with Him. We know that sin was nailed on the Cross but something good also needs to be nailed on the Cross.

A person will change and not speak the language you were speaking only because it’s time for them to be removed from your life. Separation is a precious thing. Salvation must cost you something and some of you have already experienced some loss due to salvation. You have lost a lot of things therefore don’t go back and reinstate them. Do not deny the three days that God is taking you through of blindness. Sometimes you must be confused to know that God is walking with you.

[Luke 17:11-17]

Many Christians only know the altar of God when they have a need. Some of you lack because that is the only way that God can bring you closer to Him. He knows that you only know how to pray when you don’t have, then He will always put you in a situation where you do not have. Some of you left with blessings that are not complete (whole), you received, and you ran, and you come back crying because of that blessing. God is not done; God is still going to bless us mightily. Just stay at the feet, worship and be thankful, and see how God is going to bless you. You are sitting with a blessing, but it feels like a burden because the one that has blessed you is no longer there.

[2 John 1:6-8]

The deceiver will make you lose what you have worked for. What is a deceiver? It’s another voice. If what’s speaking to you it’s not the same voice that was speaking to you in the beginning, it’s a deceiver. In everything that speaks you need to remember the first love. Why are we remembering Egypt? When Israel went out of Egypt, they heard the voice that said come out but while they were in the desert, they lost that voice and started to remember Egypt. You will remember Egypt when you lose the voice. Imagine Peter a fisherman, all his life he has been fishing but never caught much fish, yet even after catching so much fish he still left everything that he had.

If love doesn’t push you to this standard then which voice is speaking? It means you are not hearing the one from the beginning, because when you hear Him who’s from the beginning and have experienced that love you will go all out to lose who you are. If you have something in you that is speaking and makes you give out lesser than what you used to give know that it is not God speaking. You cannot give lesser than what you used to give before. The commandment that made you jump out of the boat is the very same one that needs to be active in you and makes you more committed.

Nothing shall separate us from the love of God. Thus nothing must separate you. The deceiver does not come before the commandment but he comes after. They will deceive you after you have received. Before you received Christ it was not deception because you were not born again, but now that you know the truth it is deception because it is trying to take you out of the truth.

Do not allow the deceiver to conquer you, they conquer you when you listen to their voice. Do not succumb to the voice of a deceiver. When the serpent came to Eve, she listened to the serpent. What would have been the outcome had Adam rejected what Eve was giving to him? Were they still going to be together? Sometimes Eve doesn’t need to be saved especially when she has a mindset of hiding. What made them be chased out of the garden was them hiding. Don’t lose this salvation (precious gift) because God has denied you some things.
