COME AS YOU ARE

He is Jehovah that is why we are here. We are here because of the great King, we are here because of Jesus. Today we are here to minister the love of Jesus upon your life. The Lord Jesus is one unique God, He is not like any other god. The God that I am talking about, His love is unconditional. It doesn’t matter who you are, or where you come from. Church members might discriminate against you but no one defies the love of God. Whatever you might have experienced from human beings doesn’t define the love of God. The love of God was demonstrated at the Cross.

People show you their love at some time, and might get tired to show you love, but not our Lord Jesus Christ. His love is unconditional, He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Meaning the love that He has for us doesn’t change. People, generations, and seasons may change but not the love of God. The biggest mistake we do as people is that we defy the love of God because of how mistreated we are by people. When people are mistreated by their parents, or friends they think that’s how the love of God is.

When they are challenged by the life they think that is how God is, it doesn’t matter what happens in your life but God loves you. I am here to give you the love we have experienced, as you see us we live in the unconditional love of God. We searched all over but couldn’t find the kind of Love that Jesus gives. The book of John 6:16 is known by all but not everyone understands it. God didn’t love a Christian, a pastor, a rich man, or a person who is highly esteemed but He loved the world. He put us on the same level to say that the way you are as a human being I have loved you, hence He sent His only begotten Son so that you may receive eternal life.

Eternal life is not the life that doesn’t end but it is a relationship between man and God. God saw that man wants spiritual intervention. You can go everywhere in the world, you will find Chinese, Indians, white and black people believing that there is a spiritual force that exists. So the man in his nature seeks spiritual intervention, even though you seek it, it doesn’t mean you have found it. When someone gets lost in the streets it doesn’t mean they are not on the road, and it doesn’t mean they have found the place. Everyone wants God, and they are on the road searching for the destination. Jesus came and said I am the way, the truth, and the life. He is the true way that will take you to the destination.

He said no one goes to the Father except through me, meaning people will want to go to the Father but they will not have the way. So He says I am the true way, and no one will go to the father except through me. He doesn’t deny that there are other gods but He says I am the King of kings and Lord of lords. He says He is the only connection to get through to the Father. In the beginning, was the Word and nothing existed without Him, He doesn’t deny that there are other gods, but He says He was there in the beginning. Adam is bigger than other gods. God created Adam, and Adam spoke things into existence including the other gods, hence it says all the other gods are the works of man. Without man, there are no other gods. No one appointed God, He is God without the man. Today I say, come to Jesus the God that was all along there. To be able to do anything you need to be there before creation.

When you come before all things, you are not changed by anything. Things change every time but Jesus is not shocked because He is before creation. People were surprised when they heard that a person can die from mere flu but Jesus was not surprised because before Covid or sickness He was there. We serve the God that doesn’t fail. I have found something unique about Jesus, His love is so much that it compels me every day. When things are not okay, I pray and I know that as long as Jesus is with me all is well. Love is powerful, people can be together even in the absence of money, you love someone even when they have nothing, that’s how powerful love is. We do not promise you that Jesus will give you all things, but He is God even when things do not go well.

He is the God of the rich, the poor, the sick, the healthy, the qualified, and the unqualified. He loves us all, it doesn’t matter what happened at church, some were robbed by their pastors. Let me tell you something, even pastors need God. We have heard people saying they have been robbed of money, but even today they still need money they do not turn against it, so why do you turn against God when you have been robbed by pastors? Take Jesus and make Him your God. It’s time we learn that without Jesus we won’t have life. Put aside your reasons and take Jesus, people will always talk but Jesus is still God. Come and allow Jesus to work in you.

When Jesus was with the Samaritan woman He never told her to leave her husbands, but just by encountering Jesus, the woman left her husbands without anyone telling her to do so. Some things fall off the moment you meet with Jesus. What He wants is for you to have a relationship with Him. When I look at this woman I see myself. When I look at Paul who was a murderer I see myself. When I look at Peter who was a liar, and Matthew who was a tax collector I see myself. Jesus walked with people who had a bad history, what more about you? Come as you are, He loves you as you are, and He doesn’t care what you have done. The blood of Jesus is ready to wash you.

The church has been painted as a place for perfect people but that is a lie. The church has people who are sick spiritually including the pastors too. When you are in the church and you are sick you are in the place where God will be able to help you. Jesus loves you as you are, nothing is impossible with Him. Your situation is nothing to Him, people might have given up on you but Jesus says He loves you. You might have loved Him before and left Him, but I am saying to you come back, nothing defeats Him. I want you to make a decision today to accept Jesus in your life. I am inviting you to accept this Jesus, He is there to restore you. Forget about the former things and people around you and open your heart, Jesus is here. He is here and He wants to have a relationship with you.

Salvation Prayer

Lord Jesus; today I’ve heard your Word. I give you my life, I accept you as my Lord and Saviour. I believe that you died for me on the cross. As I give you my life, wash me with your blood. Make me a new creature. Lord Jesus forgive me for all that I have done, I want to have a relationship with you. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
