In you, there must not be anything visible that is not of the Father. The Father must always find Himself in you. The issue with Adam and Eve was that when God came to them in the Garden, He could not find Himself within them, this was a clear sign that they received a different message. When God searches deep in our hearts, He must find Himself.
We ought to be what the Father is in the heart because it is often possible to reveal who the Father is in your heart and not in your actions. Our actions do not fully interpret who God is but our heart does. Some things do not exist in the spiritual realm they are in the physical only. Not drinking or dating does not mean one is Holy but yet refraining from doing the above is what reveals the Holiness in your heart.
Your actions confirm and reveal the Holiness in your heart. Therefore if we limit righteousness to actions then it means God is not Holy, because God is Holy without even doing anything. The righteousness that God seeks from us is the one in our hearts, for it is religion for one to be Holy in actions but not in the heart. As much as it is sin for one to sleep around, one might not sin by sleeping around (actions) but yet in their heart, they sleep around.
Put much effort into the heart, not actions.
We should not focus on dealing with outside shortcomings and forget what is internal. Be assured whatever shortcoming you see they were ignored internally, it started somewhere and was never dealt with. The enemy does not speak to us externally but internally, he mainly just plant a seed and it grows to the outside through meditation.
[Genesis 3:1-6]
When Eve heard what the serpent said, she then started meditating and processed what was said and she then saw. It was the ear that heard but the heart is the one that processed the information and when we speak of the heart we are speaking of the Spirit.
There are five senses namely sight, hearing, touch, smell, taste. They are all in the physical and not spiritual, there is no battle with one hearing the spoken words and translating them into the spiritually. With that said words are spoken physically but through meditation they become spiritual. Words being said by anyone can still affect you in the Spiritual realm. The Spiritual realm is not Holy but it is merely a dimension because even the dark kingdom is a spiritual realm but it is not Holy.
We should not focus too much on “Do not eat” but yet deal with the desire which sees that the fruit is good for food. When you deal with “Do not eat” and yet there is still desire shortly it will escalate and won’t come in a form of eating. We find ourselves dealing with the elementary because we still possess the old heart.
[John 2:13-24]
Do not make my Father’s house a house of merchandise. The house He was referring to was not the house in Jerusalem but He was referring to their hearts. He overturned the table physically but yet He addressed the situation spiritually. The minute He said the house of the Lord, however, the temple in Jerusalem was never the house of God because even Solomon said that a human-made house can never contain God.
When Jesus said to them do not make My Father’s house a den of thieves and marketplace. He was referring to their hearts but yet they missed it because He rebuked the physical act. Jesus said unto them “My Father’s house and not Temple” therefore the minute He says house we must know He was referring to their hearts. John 14 says “In My Father’s house there are many rooms(hearts)” hence when we pray we pray in a secret place which is in those rooms.
What took them to the temples was not to pray but was to sell and make money, hence Jesus rebuked the heart. The problem was not selling in the Temple but the motive was the one in question. They were those who sold sheep and other things but Jesus rebuked the ones who sold doves. This was because the dove represents the Holy Spirit and this meant they were exchanging the Spirit for what they loved which was money.
We ought to zeal for the house of God. Many people are destroyed in the presence of God because of the hearts they possess, they never allowed their hearts to be dealt with. Do not clean the house externally but yet it is dirty internally, these are matters of the heart.
(Verse 19) Jesus answered them “Destroy this temple, and I will raise it again in three days”
It was not destroyed literally because He was referring to our bodies and the heart. Jesus referred to the temple of His body.
(Verse 23) He was still in Jerusalem, the very same place the Temple was. Many believed in His name after seeing the signs He performed. Meaning by them believing they became born again just like us. However, Jesus did not commit to them because He knew all men and what was in men.
Jesus knew their hearts, they loved money. Meaning one can walk with God and yet He does not commit Himself because of their heart. The problem is the heart of men, the Holy Spirit will never be amazed therefore Jesus knew what was in their hearts. Every situation reveals what is in the heart. What is in the heart is more dangerous than the actual situation.
A heart can override everything, let it be that when your anointing oil is prayed for they find you with a pure heart. There are many things which people have exchanged the Holy Spirit for, the Bible says in the last days’ people will be lovers of themselves (See 2 Timothy 3:2)
[Matthew 10:16-20]
It will be given to you in that hour what to speak. Many the Holy Spirit cannot defend them because of what is in their hearts. The Spirit must speak within your heart and not outside of it. Many do not realize that often when they speak they reveal their hearts and not the Spirit. However, what responds within some people it is not the Holy Spirit but the love of money, envy, and jealousy.
(Verse 20) The Spirit of the Father speaks through. To others, the Spirit of the Father cannot speak on their behalf because their hearts are still occupied by other things. Such people always find themselves in trouble because there is no one speaking for them. Clean out your heart and uproot everything which is not of God and let the Spirit speak on your behalf.
[Galatians 5:13]
God has called us not into bondage but freedom. Do not allow the flesh to take advantage of your freedom but in love serve one another but people are destroying each other because there is no love in their hearts. We survive because there is someone who speaks for us, but the Holy Spirit cannot speak for us when envy, jealousy, hatred, and competition speak for us.
[Hebrews 4: 11 ]
You will never fool God because He discerns our thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Jesus instructed Judas to do what he had come to do. Judas had a mandate and it was the love of money(See John 13:27). The question is what are we in the Kingdom because we will be given to our desires?
[Romans 2:15]
The law is written in their hearts, their thoughts often accuse and defend them. What you struggle with within your thoughts is what occupies your heart, therefore deal with it in your hearts. Let us clean our hearts and let our actions confirm what is in our hearts. God delights in a broken heart, for God to give you a new heart.
