[James 1:9-20]
“Let the lowly brother glory in his exaltation, but the rich in his humiliation, because as a flower of the field he will pass away. For no sooner has the sun risen with a burning heat than it withers the grass; its flower falls, and its beautiful appearance perishes. So the rich man also will fade away in his pursuits…”
If you are a Christian, and your main purpose is to make money; there will be a time when it fades away. Life is greater than making money. It is proper that we teach our children that our priority is Christ, and not making money. These things that we are doing; going to work and doing business will fade away. A rich man will be rich but not forever. There will be a time when it fades away. This is a fact, that we may be rich that’s what God wants us to be but all these things will fade away.
When they fade away it does not mean that you are attacked. It does not mean that the devil is fighting you. Sometimes they fade away because God is done, and we just have to leave them. Some leave them on this earth and pass on without them. So if your purpose is to make money, then you are working for something temporary. Money is not all that, and the beauty will fade away. Some of you are in the business of living a beautiful life but it will fade away.
“Blessed is the man who endures temptation” means temptation does not only speak about the things we know like sleeping around but there are temptations which you are trying to fulfill or to put food on the table. It also means when it is not God who has blessed you or opened doors for you, yet you are tempted to go in but you don’t go in. It is a temptation even when it is stealing, lying, cheating, and jealousy. It is a temptation when it is out of the Will of God, when it is your way and not His way, and when two ways are placed before you, life and death.
Death is enticing and is packaged. When God says life and death lie in your mouth, it does not mean it has death. Many of you when you speak we don’t see death, but we have to discern it because it’s packaged nice. It comes like life but yet it is death. That is why the bible says the angel of death masquerades himself as light. The evil that lies in the mouth of many is not the one that you can see with your naked eye but you need to discern it. I want you to understand something that not all evil you can cast out. Some you just allow in the garden. Just like the tree of good and evil was not cast out same time but it was placed there while the tree of life is also there.
The devil or evil is not a threat to you. We can sit in the presence of the evil one because we are not in it, but we are next to the evil. We are in the presence of God, we are in the light. Night and day may seem like one day but they are different. There is a thin line that separates them and it is just a second. (Verse 12)There is a temptation to take you out of the Will. Most of us are not tempted by the devil but by desire. What we have learned is sufficient to destroy us. Jesus conquered the devil at the cross once and for all but He gives us how to conquer in our minds. So, there is a process of fighting what we have learned but fighting the devil was instant. I always say, if you could fear your desires and sinful nature the way you fear the devil, you will be living righteously.
The most dangerous thing in a Christian is not the devil but the mind. The mind that is contaminated is a mind that is full of the world. A church might cast out demons but yet it’s still full of the world, it’s defeated. Having deliverance ministry but failing to subject the mind to the mind of Christ is useless. It is failing to esteem itself lower than Christ yet still ministering. When the serpent attacked Adam and Eve, it did not go with demons but it went with knowledge. Once knowledge was imparted it stood aside and waited for it to manifest. What destroys Christians is not demons but what they know. Demons destroy those in the world and desire comes by knowing.
Hence Adam and Eve have fallen, God came walking, and they were hiding by the fig tree. Now when He asked them where they are, they responded by saying “we are naked’. That was not a lie because it means the minute they ate, the devil told them that if they eat of this, they will be naked. He gave them identity and an image. So, when God asked, “who told you are naked?” He was not addressing the condemnation they were in, but the statement the serpent informed them with. You can never know good and evil unless you are naked.
It was desire. Sin was not yet born, but they were pregnant by desire. Desire had the power to take them out of the garden. It had the power to take the glory out and to undress them. Many see nakedness when they have sinned yet they were all along naked and pregnant. Glory does not come where there is desire but it comes only when you are pregnant with His seed. Hence it says, Christ the hope of glory not desire. If you are pregnant with Christ, the glory will be your garment but the minute you are pregnant with desire, you are naked like a baby who is a newborn.
Blessed is a man who endures temptation. Do you know why did God not stop the serpent to speak to Eve? Because Eve was supposed to endure. God did not stop the serpent to give Eve the fruit because she was supposed to endure. We ask about where was Adam? But can you endure even when Adam seems like he is not there? Can you endure even when you don’t feel like Christ is there? Because you need to endure temptation but not in the presence. You endure temptation out of the presence.
When Jesus was asked why are His disciples not fasting? He said they will only fast when the bridegroom is taken away. So fasting means having the absence of the Father. That is why the bible tells us that after Jesus was done fasting, angels came and ministered to Him; it shows that now He was in the presence. We endure the temptation out of the presence that is where the incorruptible is tested. The incorruptible must be tested with corruption. Do you want to see if the bulletproof works? Then put it in the shooting range. Put it where it can be corrupted, to see whether it’s valid. We can’t test the incorruptible seed in the church. It’s tested right there where you think God is not there.
Many are not aware that when they are in a taxi, at work, or home, God is busy. They are being tested but can you endure? Blessed is a man who endures. We confessed all our lives saying “surely Lord, you bless me…” blessed is a man who endures. You need to endure temptation. You are blessed while you didn’t endure temptation. That’s not my Father who has blessed you. The devil himself has blessed you in a familiar image. Some may appear in our images but it’s not us. Some appear and say marry him but the birth is without the endurance of temptation. How should the incorruptible still be tested? Why are you still failing to have immortality? It is because the test of immortality is a sin, not death.
(1Corinthians 15) tells us that death where is your sting? Meaning that death has been dealt with and the sting of death is sin. So immortality is tested by sin. There can never be immortality while sin still reigns in you. What brings death is sin, so immortality is brought by sin. When you are tested, your immortality is being tested and you might think that you are being tested for sexual immorality or any other sin but the standard of immortality was raised. You were given immortality, you have received the Spirit of immortality so when you go out, you will be approached by the tests according to the message you have received.
It is dangerous to listen to the message of God because the very message brings its enemies. It brings its temptations. While you are here clapping hands saying you are receiving, it is not only the message you receive but also temptations. You find someone saying that “Papa declared that we must receive money and I have received it but till now I still don’t have it.” Have you endured the temptation of money? You can’t be a millionaire while you don’t know how it is to not have anything. You just want to be a millionaire. You just want to pass without fail.
Many are not aware that when God wants to bless you, He brings pain, and what is sour. He brings tears only to bring out the best. Out of these vessels, we carry death. If death does not manifest, resurrection doesn’t manifest. Death is at the cross, so you just have to feel the wound. When we say to carry your cross, you do so by saying no to sin. Our cross is no. When we say grace teaches you to say no, grace teaches us how to die on the cross. It teaches us to say no, but have you endured?
Before you can be blessed can you endure? Many of you don’t understand that you can’t be blessed with marriage while you are not single. You have to be single first. There has to be a minus for God to add. So what has God added if you were never empty?
Don’t say it’s a blessing because you came with it. You can’t say God has blessed you with a beautiful husband while you are the one who added. Many Christians don’t have things that are added, they have collections. They collect money, houses, husbands, and wives, they collect things outside. They collect things even in the house of God and they come and say God has blessed them but when it is God blessing you, it will be added not the collected. The bible says to seek first the Kingdom of God and all things will be added. We don’t collect.
Emptiness is what God blesses. When you are empty that’s when God will bless you. When you don’t have, that is when God will bless you. You want the blessing of God but you are full of your desires. I can already see your desires which are of the world but the bible says seek, meaning desire the Kingdom. Look for the King and His domination and when you have that, all things will be added. The collection is not a testimony. What you can do is not a testimony. A testimony is what the Lord has done. It testifies because you see how the Lord has done.
Many people have been pushing, they say pray until something happens. Stop pushing walk in the grace, and pray by the Spirit. We don’t pray until something happens. Things have been happening because I haven’t stopped praying. Some stop praying as soon as they get married and yet say that those marriages are a blessing but they pushed. It was mighty and power. I’m looking for the Zerubbabel who will do things in the Spirit, not those who will push. The ones who will soar up high and not those who will fly. Eagles don’t fly, nor do they push. They depend on the wind to carry them. Eagles soar up high. Stop flying and allow the Spirit to carry you high. You’ve been walking too much. The Bible says to those who are burdened, let them come to Me, I will give them My yoke for it is easy.
You come and tell us that the journey of Christianity is so hard; it’s all because you are full of your burdens. You are walking too much. You don’t know what rest is, rest is not pushing. There is no need to push but rather seek, search and desire. If He is not in that car, house, business, or marriage then it’s not worth it. Stop pushing and trying to make things happen, because God will make things happen.
The bible says in the book of Colossians, that servants must work as though they are working for Christ. Not so that they may get salaries, meaning that God is teaching us how to worship. So whenever you wake up and go to work know it is time to worship. Let your work be worship. Stop putting bread on the table because I have never seen the righteous forsaken. Whatever you do, if it’s not worship, then stop it right now. If that marriage is not worship then stop it right now because when you sit with your brother or sister whatever you do or say must be worship.
Peter’s worship was not in the sea but with the Jews. Ministers seek anointing and not worship. When you lie at the feet you give it all out. We don’t increase the anointing but the worship. We give it all out not by might or power, protocol, or anything but by worship. It’s not who you are connected to but who you are worshiping. Many have connected for the name’s sake, and we can see that you are connected but you can’t worship. When you look at me and still see me then you can’t come where I am. What prevented them to go where Jesus was going is that they still saw Jesus as the son of Joseph.
Don’t push because when you don’t you can endure. Jesus was not in a hurry to die on the cross even when the cross was difficult to carry He neither asked anyone for help but it was the soldiers who called another man and said help Him but Jesus endured. He did not want any assistance. When you are in prayer and angels strengthen you, you can endure. Prayer does not make you push seasons but it makes you endure. Hence Jesus prayed and said, if it was His Will, He would let this cup pass by. As He continued in agony and groaning, might and power had to stop, and now He had to go through it without pushing.
Every level of prayer unlocks something. As you pray the level of water goes up until you are totally covered and can’t speak underwater, but you remain in the water because you are baptized. I’m looking for those who can’t speak anymore because they are underwater and when they open their mouth, water comes in. it’s time we drank in the presence of God. It’s time we drown in the presence of God. You come to church and remain the same because you have been swimming in the water. Remember when you swim, it’s your own hands that you are using, but when you drown, you can’t swim anymore. It is time we stop swimming.
We call it a river because it has a current and when there is a current, there is a flow. When there is a flow, fish go where the river is flowing, as they are not swimming. We call it a river because it must flow and when it flows fish don’t swim but they just flow with the river. There is a river from the throne, there is a wind from above and no one is flying but we are soaring. You find people who have been long born again saying, they have done it all and tried it all, but we have not done anything that is why we are still here. The Spirit is doing it all. The Spirit is doing it in us, when we stand it is no longer us but Christ. We live in Christ and He has been doing it since we received salvation.
Those who flow can endure. You cannot meditate in the city while you are in the desert. How are you meditating on cars and houses and marriage when God is busy in the secret place? Those who seek the Kingdom are not looking at what will be added. Christ has a question for you; “Am I not enough than what you are looking at? I’m with you in the secret room but am I not more than what you are thinking about? Am I not more than your desires? Am I not more than the marriage you want? Am I not more than the healing that you want?” That is why some people died. It was because they were not looking into Christ. Can you endure? We want to be but we don’t want to endure.
Many are called and are filtered by being chosen, but it is a few among the chosen who are approved because they can endure. Don’t you know that the chosen can fall also? They can go back because they have tasted the Kingdom and not eaten, but how you taste is how you eat, so it all looks the same. We are all listening to the message through multiple platforms but some can’t even comprehend what I am teaching because tomorrow when you wake up you would have forgotten. Few are approved because few digest, they meditate. I am raising millionaires who will endure. I am raising husbands and wives who will endure.
Without meditation, you can never build. What makes a Christian is a meditation and prayer hence Joshua says “meditate upon this book of life, day and night” not read it day and night. The problem is that you’ve been reading it and not meditating. Let me tell you something, most of you don’t know this but you are just a scanning machine. You scan, you don’t have the data in you. You do not know how to print/ we can’t click print on you because you do not have the data. You are a scanning machine, you scan what is not in you. Many Christians are scanning and yet expect to survive.
When the hard drive is empty and only programmed to scan, and don’t save the information from the machine, it will never survive. We don’t call it a computer but a scanning machine. We meditate on it day and night before we print. How does the one who preaches meditate on it before, then come and teach about it then go back. After the teaching, they meditate on it again. But you just hear it on Sunday and you leave thinking you will survive. While even the ones who are used as vessels are cautious, they meditate on it day and night.
We understand that you can be busy to eat but don’t be busy to meditate. The Word is not like food where you can catch up. It is manna, the next day it’s rotten. What you received is not what was prepared yesterday. Meditate on it day and night every day and endure. Blessed is the man who endures because he will receive a crown of life. It’s time we endured and stop running around seeking a way out.
The time the church was hit by forex, many were scammed and the church was exposed that we lack the Word. It revealed that we love money more than the Word because if we had the Word of God in us, we wouldn’t be scammed. They say forex scammed the religion sector like no other. It’s an error. The ones who were supposed to see the serpent from afar, are the ones who were scammed. It’s an error. Desire is a trap. Many churches have also produced divorces and soon it will supersede in the world because marriage is taught as a blessing, a goal that people can just go and desire. When marriage is not in the Will, it’s not marriage, it’s not a blessing, it is cohabiting.
Let me ask this, what happens when a person takes R200 000 and buys a car only to find that the car is stolen? When the police find her even though she might have a receipt, she won’t be with a car because she bought a stolen car. She might escape jail time yet not have the car. But if it can be proven that she bought the car knowingly and that it was stolen, she will go to jail. Many are in marriages that are stolen and yet they say it’s a blessing of God. You lied and said God says, but it was not God. Some people will go to hell for marrying other people because they are the cause of their fall. If anyone causes these little ones to fall, they will be tied with a stone and thrown into the water. Some people are not going to hell because they fornicated but they will go to hell because they trapped people in marriages.
It’s better for you to come and say I love or I lust over them and the father addresses your lust or your love than deceiving by saying God said. Some of you will go to hell because of delaying to marry. Some are single, who are not supposed to be and some denied the Will to a point that it cost a soul. What about the one who will be only saved by marriage? Some can’t stand up anymore, even though it gets fixed with marriage but they can’t stand up anymore. Endure and persevere. People get tempted because they are drawn by their own desires. Let’s leave the devil alone for a moment because it is your desires which need to be mastered.
When I married this woman the vision was very clear that I must not touch her. This is because touching before time can contaminate. It can change everything. The children that God wanted to be born through you might not be of purpose anymore. If Joseph slept with Mary before time, she was not going to be the mother of Jesus. Her virginity mattered in being chosen. Some of you, your marriages are for ministers and worshipers. God knows that out of each marriage He will bring out something. So we mess up by touching and when we do, the purpose dies.
Although David wrote Psalms 51, he couldn’t build the temple anymore, the purpose moved to his son. Let us not mess up. God will move on until He gets the ones who will practice immortality. Immortality can’t manifest while we are still messing up. God took them out of the garden because when they eat they would have eaten with the same character. They will live with the same attitude. God had to take them out because He wants purity. Until the church preaches it, lives it, and wants it, that’s when we will experience this immortality. God said there will be a generation that will manifest immortality. If we don’t want to be that generation, then some generations will take it from us and they will be that generation.
You want immortality but you are still struggling to separate? Immortality is not for the faint-hearted. That is why God had to take them out of the garden. They were taken out not to be killed but to be cleaned and refined, that is why at the door there was a sword that refines and cuts off everything that was not of God. Jesus Christ became a door for us that when you enter through the door there is pain, there is separation, there is a sword. Hence it says the Word of God is sharper than any double-edged sword. He became an enduring door to pass through so that those who enter through the door may leave behind that is not of God.
(Verse 15)The Word does not tolerate desire. Desires are still there because the Word is rejected. You can listen to me while I am preaching but if you can’t meditate you have rejected the message. If you reject the message, what is of the world will remain in you. When that is of the world is still in you, someday you will give birth.
You will see yourself getting big and think it is anointing whereas you don’t know that the desire(baby) is growing in you. Wait until the desire(baby) comes out, you won’t decide if it’s coming out or not.
If you don’t abort the desire now, you will never survive. Don’t wait for the desire to be born. Kill that world, desire in you. Cause yourself to have a miscarriage because that baby(desire) will attack your business, your marriage, etc. Corruption comes from desire. Hence you can’t pray for someone who is in the world to be immortal.
[1 John 5:4-6]
“For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? This is He who came by water and blood—Jesus Christ; not only by water but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who bears witness because the Spirit is truth.”
When you fail to say no, to things in this world, is when you know that you are not yet born of Him. Today let the anointing you have bear witness that you have overcome the world. Every good gift is from above, that we might be the first kind of the first fruit of His creatures.
