”HEALING AND DELIVERANCE THAT REVEAL THE GLORY OF GOD”

A rod is for direction. It is for rebuke, hence David says that ‘Your rod comforts me’. There are some people the rod does not comfort them. When you take out the rod they get troubled. Remember why you left everything for Jesus, not to attain something from Jesus. God chooses you through obedience. For you to be chosen by God you just have to listen. Peter said, “Your words are eternal”- meaning that from Him (Jesus), we attain eternal life.
Since you can hear Him, He has chosen you. You cannot follow Christ with yourself. You must reject yourself to follow Him. Many have rejected Christ for themselves. I am not here to give you the world, but I am here to give you Spirit and life. Do not worry about other things, they will be added. As we continue with the business of Christ, all other things will be added. Even if we do not get them, we are not troubled because we left everything for Him. Some things were not stopped by demons or generational curses, but it is your journey. This is the cost of salvation. Anyone who wants to follow Him must deny himself/herself for God. The old you may complain saying that you want your old life back, but the new you follow Christ as a new person and have forgotten everything.
[Matthew 16:18]
Most of us want to be the rock, but cannot let go like Peter. You leave God because you did not get your marriage or material things. You doubt because of your selfish reasons; you are nowhere close to Peter. Peter did not leave God because he lost everything. Peter was all in. The reason he went back to fishing is because he saw Jesus Christ being crucified and thought that He is no longer there. For Peter to deny Jesus, it was not in his power. When they came to arrest Jesus, it was Peter who took out a sword right in front of those people. He was ready to die for Jesus. Peter was bound by the prophetic Word on his life spoken by Jesus. He had no choice.
[John 13:36-38]
Jesus knew that the place that He was going, there was a possibility that Peter was going to come, but He prevented Him to come at that time lest people would think that Peter also died for them. So Peter did not only forsake his family and houses, but he also forsook his life. He was ready to die for Jesus. Jesus spoke a prophetic Word upon Peter that he may not have any choice.
[Luke 22:31-34]
Jesus did not pray for Peter to have faith because it was already there, but He prayed for him so that faith may continue being there. Peter was the one who was ready to die for Jesus; that is why he is the who was supposed to strengthen the brethren. When Peter said that he is ready to die, Jesus realized that Peter was going to be an obstacle, because the mandate was for Him(Jesus) alone.
In him, he had the strength to strengthen his brothers. Jesus knew that he would condemn himself but he will have the strength to return. Many people do not have the power to return. He was a son without a choice. No matter how difficult it was in life, Peter was going to be with Christ. When Jesus went to see them fishing He was not seeking everyone but He was looking for Peter. The conversation was between Him and Peter, not other disciples.
Peter knew that there was going to be a prison and/or death, yet he was still prepared to go with Him. When you follow a man of God, you follow God in that man and not the man. So when the man has lost his God, follow his God and not him.
[John 21:1]
When Peter went back to fishing, he was actually strengthening his brothers. Where they were, they were safe than being anywhere else. You cannot speak about Peter who went out of the boat while you are in the boat. Not all can pray for the country, heal the sick, or perform miracles because they are still in the boat. As long as you cannot walk on water or ask the Lord to walk on water, you cannot strengthen brothers. Keep quiet and sit down.
Peter followed Jesus as if he was alone. He never consulted anyone or tried to recruit anyone else. When you have left everything in the world, when you come to the house of God you do not need to gather brothers and sisters, but they will follow you when you do the right thing. When I dance in the Spirit, let my Spirit carry you to a place where I am. Mary Magdalene did not consult anyone when she went to the feet to worship.
When God speaks about true worshippers, He speaks about such worshippers who do not consult first before they worship, but they just go and worship. When you are with God, you forget about everything. When you see Him you see Him. You do not consult to worship God. The bible does not say that the twenty-four elders consulted each other to worship God. What was common was the Spirit in them. They found themselves worshipping God together. You do not need a support structure, but it is the Spirit that makes you to praise and worship Him. When you have found the Lord Jesus Christ follow Him without a doubt.
