‘GOD WILL DEFEND HIS OWN’

[Numbers 16:1-28]
When you are sent by God, let Him confirm you instead of you speaking for yourself or defending Him. Jesus was sent by God that is why He said that He does not need any human testimony, it was all because God speaks for Him. Moses said to Korah ”by this you will know that God is the one who sent me not that I have sent myself.” Many ministers defend themselves and God as if God can’t defend Himself. The work that the Lord has sent you to do it’s not your work but His work by that we know that God defends Himself we do not need to defend Him.

When Korah and his people started to fight against Moses they were fighting the one who has sent Moses. So, when Moses stood he did not have to defend himself hence he simply said that tomorrow morning lets go out and God will defend Himself. When you are sent by God He speaks for you He confirms you.

[Numbers 16:29-40]
The ground split open and swallowed them because Moses was sent by God. God had to confirm him, and He did that by opening the earth so that it may swallow them up. This is the kind of anointing that is needed these days, the kind that will stand for itself, that does not need to be defended. I have seen many people who defend the gospel, they defend Jesus as if He can never speak for Himself. The bible tells us that God does not need anyone to speak for Him because He can speak for Himself.

These people were touching the anointing in a wrong manner, they were told that they won’t die a natural death, but a new thing would happen, the earth will open up and swallow them. These men did not reject God in front of everyone but as we look from verse one going down, they were believers who came for a good course, but with a wrong motive. This is what is happening these days. It is the same believers who fight the brethren and argue over what God is doing.

We should have ministers who do not go around in the media defending God but we should have ministers who are sent by God. Those who won’t worry about defending God but instead they will know that the Holy Spirit will defend them and the Lord will continue speaking for them. Many people now are speaking for God because God is not speaking at the moment. There is no action so they want to speak for God but the same people who say that they are defending God, they are actually defending scriptures and churches. Scripture and a church cannot speak for themselves, but the minute God speaks, there is action.

When God has sent you, you need to separate yourself from the mist of people who like to argue. When you are among them you become consumed by them. These people spoke against Moses and God heard everything, that it is why it says that Moses’ anger was Holy, it was holy because it was God who was angry. We need people who have the anger of the Father, we need people when they speak God confirms their words.

[Mathew 10: 16]
”Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves.”
God has sent us out to be humble and quiet like sheep amongst wolves. He knows that wolves will devour the sheep but yet again He says be wise as a serpent and as a humble as a dove. He said we must be wise because the serpent although it can bite the heel of a woman, it still can separate itself. Many are not humble and wise, but they are prideful and arrogant, you need to have a character of a sheep. Looking in the book of Isaiah 53 we see the character of a sheep. Many when they are rejected they open their mouth and speak meanwhile God does not need to be defended, they defend Him.

[Isaiah 53:1-5]
They esteem us as false prophets as though God did not send us. They looked at Him as if He was rejected by God just as they think about us. Jesus kept His mouth closed He never said a word to defend Himself, but many can’t do that, they always want to defend God who sent them. Many ministers fail to keep the silence because they are philosophers, they are well informed so they cannot keep the silence in. How can you be humble and wise if you can’t keep a quiet Spirit? We need the wisdom of a serpent. The serpent always separates itself from people because they will bruise it with their heel, although it can bite them it still escapes. God says we must have the kind of wisdom like of the serpent, that even though we know how effective we are, we may remain to show our tongue instead of our teeth.

Do not be full of the wisdom of the serpent from the garden in genesis. God has been saying that He is about to avenge our enemies because when I look at how we are, I realise that we are too soft but the anointing is so bold because He has sent us to speak of this anointing. As the bible says that they did not esteem Jesus as the Man from God, it is the same way we are esteemed. It is as if we are not sent by God, they esteem us as false prophets but God says He is avenging for us, we have to do is to remain silent.

[Genesis 3:14-15]
“So the LORD God said to the serpent: “Because you have done this, You are cursed more than all cattle, And more than every beast of the field; On your belly, you shall go, And you shall eat dust All the days of your life. And I will put enmity Between you and the woman, And between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, And you shall bruise His heel.”
‭‭Most people react like the woman instead of the man, enmity was placed between the woman and the serpent which is why we need to behave like the man and not like a woman because she always has to fight the serpent. A man does not get involved in disputes, he separates himself from arguments because he is quiet. The woman(the church) wants to find itself in the media trying to explain who it is, our message is to preach the gospel of Christ not to argue about who is right or wrong. The church needs to behave like a man, not the woman, the mind must be transformed according to how Christ is. We are in (peace of Shiloh), we did away with the woman at the cross because at the cross it was a woman(the church) who was raging war with the serpent. So that the serpent can be crushed and the man(Christ) can be seated at the right hand of the Father. The church needs to start behaving like the husband in order for it to stop fighting the serpent.

The church operates in the same power as the serpent because it was the woman who ate in the garden so that she can be as wise as the serpent. When God says be wise as a serpent, which serpent is He talking about because there is enmity between the serpent in the garden and the woman.

Those who don’t have the vail in their heart they will see the glory and come where it is but those who have the vail they will stumble and fall because of the glory that is shining on your face. So, Moses stood and said those who are for him must come to his side and those who are against they must remain with Kora, the first thing that God has said is separate yourself. Separate yourself from the serpent lest you are crushed with him. Those who are still offended are those that still live in this curse, you cant be fighting what you are called into when God has called you He fights for you. Today we will see who is for God, you do not have to defend yourself by telling people that you are from God.

You don’t have to go around telling people that your father is from God. Just have the quiet spirit because God once released that Spirit and that does not say it ended in that particular year but we continue with the quiet spirit. We remain in the temple with a quiet spirit. In Mathew 19 God said He is sending us out as sheep among wolves not as shepherds among wolves because He wants a quiet spirit that the sheep posses, unlike of the Shepard. Do not argue as a Shepard but remain with a quiet spirit of a sheep, be wise as a serpent.

When you are defending yourself we see the absence of power but when God is the one doing it in you we see His power at work. Sometimes God will bring you before your persecutors just so He can manifest His power. The Holy Spirit stands for those who are quiet but offence reigns in those who still carry the curse of Eve. We do not fight but we rest in Shiloh because we are more than conquers.
[Acts 16:16-22]
“…And this she did for many days. But Paul, greatly annoyed, turned and said to the spirit, “I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her.” And he came out that very hour…”
This is not offence, God was annoyed, that is why it says Paul was greatly annoyed because Paul was sent by God.
Where is this power that would do what Paul did here?

[Acts 8:13-25]
“…Give me this power also, that anyone on whom I lay hands may receive the Holy Spirit.” But Peter said to him, “Your money perish with you because you thought that the gift of God could be purchased with money! You have neither part nor portion in this matter, for your heart is not right in the sight of God. Repent therefore of this your wickedness, and pray God if perhaps the thought of your heart may be forgiven you…”
‭‭If you think we buy power you have to have the authority that Peter had, rebuke with that authority. His rebuke is not the offence but it what begins in God, when you are sent by God you get to feel what God is feeling. If you think we buy power then let your power expose us, rebuke with the authority you have, the kind that Peter had. Where is such authority that when you spoke against God you have touched Him? When you touch Him you are bound by the power that lies in Him.

[Acts 5:1-11]
Ananias and Sapphira were exposed by the Holy Spirit because they had lied before Him, this shows that no one can lie before the Holy Spirit. So whoever says another is not from God, let the Holy Spirit in them expose the demon in the other because you can’t lie to the truth that is the Holy Spirit. It is not for you to go exposing people but rather remain in the presence of Shiloh and let God expose Himself, do not defend Him.
