God has different ways of communicating with His sons, one needs to be able to hear God in different ways. You can hear God in a vision or a dream. Most believers often seek to hear God in visions and dreams, however, there is one particular voice that God has given us, and we must remain with that voice. The voice is the one that continuously speaks to us throughout generations, therefore seeing visions is not maturity.
[Romans 1:18-20]
God is invisible. Throughout creation, His invisible attributes or character are clearly seen. Creation itself (the book of Psalms) is speaking and making known to us the existence of God. The first voice is God speaking through His creation. However people have placed things in place to define the existence of God, God is with us and through His Word, we have been given confidence that God does exist.
God says you must not know that He exists because you experienced a miracle. Unbelievers believe in that, they see a sick person being healed and they start to believe that God exists. However, to believers, God has been made known to us through His Word, and the Word of God must be the sole reason we believe.
Creation constantly testifies about the existence of God, therefore creation should be our first voice to validate that God exists. For a long, science has tried to prove that God does not exist but failed. God is speaking even without the bible through creation.
[Psalms 19:1-4]
“Heavens declare the Glory of God, the skies proclaim the work of His hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge. The sky is constantly communicating with us…”
The Bible says “My people perished because of the lack of knowledge” knowledge is even there in creation. Both the skies and the heavens converse with us, there is speech in it and there is knowledge. Although plants do not have audible speech, however, one has to tune in to their kind of language or voice.
Everyone in this whole world knows there is a sky. The minute they saw that there is a sky they should have known that there is God. Creation itself is telling us about the existence of God.
[John 10:27]
The sheep that are My own listen to My voice. We are the sheep and we know the voice of our Shepherd. God never said fasting makes one know the voice. Fasting does not make the voice of God to be clear to us, but it makes one’s flesh die, by so doing the voice of God becomes clearer.
We know the voice of God, every Christian knows what the voice of God sounds like. God has given us a way of communicating with Him, but we want to speak to God only through a vision, a dream. Unaware that God wants to speak to us face to face. Visions and dreams are the lowest levels of speaking to God, we have been given a way to speak to Him and that is face-to-face.
A believer’s relationship with God should not be solely based on visions and dreams, because when you don’t dream you will mistake God for not speaking. We ought to not measure our relationship with God, based on our visions and dreams.
The story of a donkey that saw an angel, is another Spiritual level if animals can see an angel and converse with it what more about believers? Meaning seeing and hearing is not maturity. There is a voice of God that God has always been teaching us about, this voice is not referring to visions or dreams, but the Word of God.
[Leviticus 22:31]
The Bible has several scriptures where we are instructed to keep the commandments and yet we tend to ignore them. The voice of God is our bible, the Word. There is no other highest voice than the Word of God. No voice surpasses His Word. Jesus emphasized keeping the commandments, yet we still want to wait for God to speak in order for us to keep His commandments.
There is no other higher voice, deception begins when one wants to hear God outside the Bible. Do you want to know where falsehood happens? Deception is when one tries to explain a scripture and when one hears God outside the scripture/Word.
[2 Peter 1:20]
This book is a prophecy (The bible). The prophets mentioned or spoken about are all men of Faith. All these scriptures that we read, did not come by one’s own interpretation. A minister standing in the pulpit by his own interpretation is an error.
[Romans 4:22]
The words were written not only for Abraham but also for us and these words were credited to him. We are not reading about the story of Abraham because it was for Abraham, it was for us. All these scriptures we are reading are inspired and enforced by the Holy Spirit.
[Romans 15:4]
Everything that was written in the past was written to teach us. We have been chasing to know the voice of God while already there is a voice, the scriptures/Word is the voice of God. They were not just written; they were written so that we can hear God. For those who say they cannot hear the Voice, they should open their Bible. God can speak while one did not open their Bible but yet that’s where deception arises, that’s where many become deceived.
Do you want to be in a place where you can’t hear anything false? Then remain in the Word of God. We want to hear the voice of God in our everyday lives and in every decision we take, then the Word of God is sufficient, it is constantly speaking in everything. It is important for one to study the Bible and not wait to go through something to read the Bible. Therefore read the Bible every day so that you may know and keep it so that when you have to make a decision, already you know what the Word says.
One should not wait to get sick to be able to quote or search for scriptures about healing. Meditate on this book day and night ( See Joshua 1:8) and you shall prosper. Prosperity is not only by receiving money. When someone becomes sick, and you pray for them, and they become healed then you have prospered. Keep the commandment day and night.
The church is waiting for the voice and they do not believe in what is written(The Word). Someone is able to lay hands on the sick and they shall be healed. The confidence that we need to have is in what the Word of God says. Every believer needs to administer not only healing but also deliver the possessed.
Faith comes by hearing the Word of God, it does not say faith comes by being anointed or having a title. Faith does not come by fasting it comes by hearing the Word of God. All we need to do is hear the Word of God and we will have faith. What we hear is sufficient and capable of bringing answers, miracles, or signs and wonders in our everyday lives.
Saints stopped being divine, hence now only the Church is divine and not the saints. People go to church, they get healed. People go to church they get delivered; demons are cast out. In Christ Jesus we are new creatures, the Word needs to change us individually and make us divine.
“Today, when you hear My voice, do not harden your hearts” (See Hebrews 3:15) therefore whenever you read the Bible and lay hands upon the sick and they will receive healing. Do not harden your hearts and say you are still waiting for the fixed date of the Father, or still waiting for the anointing to increase. We have been postponing it, there are things God has given us and He never said to wait to be mature.
It is about time we quote the bible, what you hear me speaking is what My Father has spoken, the Father is speaking through His Word. Jesus was quoting the Word of God when He said “I have heard My Father speaking…” that is why when the devil came to Him, He said it is written. Jesus knew the scriptures and He wants us to know the scriptures.
We need to apply the scriptures in our daily lives. Depending on the anointing of Yeshua, depending on the anointing of the father of the house will never give one immortality(life) it will solve your problem in a meantime. Churches are full of babies who say they are mature because they understand how the anointing of the house works and not how the Word of God works in their lives. Christians are mature about the anointing of the house(church) not the Word of God that needs to be alive in them.
Today you will know how to hear the voice like a mature person. We often search for ways we can enhance our anointing, how we can grow our ministry, and how can heal the sick, and neglect the Word of God, which is His voice.
How much more if we take the Word and we just eat it? One thing about food it enhances one’s body similarly to the Word. The Word of God does not make one a prophet but it strengthens one to become a saint, then out of a saint, we can have a prophet, a teacher, etc.
With regards to Christianity, in order for one to become a Christian, one needs to be equipped with the Word of God. We have the power of the spoken Word in us. We have the sword that is active in us. Therefore Christians let us wake up, there is a voice of God beyond visions and dreams. One should not wait to have/see in order to be able to pray for others. You don’t have to dream for you to start praying for people.
God is speaking through the Bible. God is speaking in His Word. He is telling us what to be, yet we have been postponing. God has always been speaking in His Word and we have been looking for another voice. We ought to speak to God face to face. The more you read/study the Bible, it builds up confidence in God.
[Titus 1:2-3]
In this scripture, there is a purpose. The purpose of the church is found in this scripture. He has brought to light through the preaching, the preaching brings to light. Whenever a preacher teaches or preaches, he/she is bringing situations to light. The purpose of the church is to bring to light, hence everyone after hearing a sermon needs to meditate on it, because the Word brings life.
Whenever one goes to church and hears a preaching that through faith they can do all things. Many go out of the service thinking they have it, unaware that they need to go and meditate on the message in order to operate. Hence in the book Joshua 1:8, God said, let this book not depart from your mouth. He was not saying from your ears. Meditation is in the mind but when you meditate on it day and night, one should speak and confess.
The mouth receives when it eats but when it comes to reading it does not receive. Therefore when it says, “do not let it depart from your mouth” He is saying do not stop speaking the Word. Meditate so that you can speak it and when you meditate and speak it, that’s when you will prosper. Hearing is not enough, we must meditate. You hear it and then you meditate and when you meditate you don’t let it depart from your mouth by speaking it.
[Matthew 10:16-19]
When one walks with the Holy Spirit, such a person at times will face challenging situations, and perhaps at that time they cannot reach out to their Bible and read a verse or two, mediation and confessing will be an aid to such a person. (Verse 19) Do not worry about what you will say, therefore in those instances where one has to be spontaneous with their words, such individuals should not worry about what to say as the Holy Spirit will speak on their behalf.
Often we fail because we do not have the Word in us, only if we teach ourselves to meditate and read the Word of God every day. The Word of God has answers to every situation. Continue to meditate, read the Word of God, and pray. We are urged not to worry about what to say because the Holy Spirit will guide us.
