‘KNOW WHO YOU ARE IN CHRIST’ Part 1

Today is your day, God is going to change your life and turn it around. [John 14:1-9], Jesus said that He is the way, the truth, and the life, so no one comes to the Father except through Him. As you are at home or at work, I want you to know that Jesus is greater in your life. Whatever you may be facing or going through, know that He is the way and the truth. If you believe in Him and trust in Him, He will make a way for you. In the first verse, it said that in my Father’s house there are many rooms, so there is a room for you for healing, deliverance, restoration, and anything that you want. You cannot come to the Father’s house and not receive what you want from Him.

Verse 7, many Christians want to see first in order to believe. They want to receive jobs first so that they may know that God is in their lives. They want to taste sin first to know that there is God. You being able to breathe today it is because of God, so what more do you want? Do you want to be blessed first to know that He lives in you? Do you want to receive that promotion to know that He lives in you? Verse 9, whenever you see your spiritual parents teaching and feeding you with the Word know that you have seen the Father. Do you believe and trust in Him? Do you know that He is the King of your life? Many Christians’ are Thomas’s they want to see first in order to believe, or else they will have doubts and worry in them.

So which one are you, are you a person who wants to see first or the one believes without seeing? Remember that faith is the substance of things we hope for. When you say that ‘one day I will buy a car’ you are hoping that it will come to pass. Verse, “Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me, or else believe Me for the sake of the works themselves”. If we have such Christians who do not believe know that it is a sickness. Disbelieve is a sickness. [2 Chronicles 7:12-15], disbelief is wicked, being prideful is also wickedness. These people have given themselves to the world, they just live not remembering that they are the temple of God. There are kinds of sicknesses, there is one where when you are sick you feel pain in your body. There is another sickness whereby you are a Christian who just lives their life anyhow. There is a sickness that God can cause to torment the body.

Verse 14, it means there is a sickness in their land. Remember that you can plant on the land, you can sell it to get money. You can use it anyhow you want, so when God says I will heal their land it means that in whatever sickness you go through He will heal you. God is remembering you today, it doesn’t matter the situation you are in right. He is healing you, only if you humble yourself, seek the face of the Lord and turn away from all wickedness. Are you the house of the Lord? Can God delight in you? Job was sick and God delighted in it because He wanted to show forth His glory. You cannot just live, remember that sin reigns in the flesh. As a Christian do not give this temple to the world. Know who you are in the Lord, do not give your life to sin. Do not let sin control you.

[Genesis 3:1-17], you are in the presence of God and you know what He wants with your life. You know that there is the Will of God in your life, but whenever voices come and whisper to your ear you choose to reply to the voices instead of knowing where you come from. Voices will come just to distract you. It is sin knocking at your door, so as a son do you allow those voices to come to you? Are you ready to respond? Do you go to God in prayer or do you just reply? Some of you miss the voice of God because you are quick to respond. Do you wait for God to speak and meditate, or you always have answers?

Verse, voices will come to you reminding you of how nice the world is. Remember that as you know God you are god. You are a king and you should go and rule and not the world ruling over your life. Know your position. Verse 8, the fruit was good for food. When you go and taste the world, it becomes good for a moment. Whatever you eat can affect your sister/brother [the ones that you fellowship with]. Just by you telling your sister about the fun of the world that is enough to affect them because you will be implanting thoughts in their mind. Verse 7, remember that sin is not only when you conform to the standards of the world, but it can come in the form of you forsaking your spiritual father.
