LET GO OF ANGER, YOU NEED TO FORGIVE

[Ephesians 4:17-20] 

Every time there is anger the devil takes advantage of it. Many people are not aware that when they are angry, they end up sinning. You can be angry and give a way to the devil, it is not only by sin. You find yourself angry and you are giving a way to the devil. The devil takes advantage of where there is anger.

 [James 1:18-19]

There is the anger of the Lord. You cannot struggle with anger and then have the anger of the Lord with you. Every time you become angry in your ways, you do not produce righteousness. Every time you get angry, and are moved by something in your anger know that you have produced something. That is why it is important to master anger.

God wants us to be the first fruits of His creatures. Anger makes you an animal. Anger shuts the ears of those who are full of anger, and they cannot hear God anymore. You find yourself Spiritually you cannot hear anymore because you are full of anger.

In anger, you find that you are producing unrighteousness. Anger can make you an animal. You end up behaving like an animal. An animal gets angry without looking at the bigger picture. We must be quick in listening and slow in speaking. Angry people are quick to speak and slow to listen. It is equally important that when you are angry be slow to speak but quick to listen. You need to be careful who you listen to because you can listen to those who fuel up the anger in you.

[Matthew 5:21-24]

Jesus likens anger to murder. The greatest murder is you being angry at your brother. The minute it says brother it means a fellow believer. The minute you become angry at a fellow believer you are a murderer. Do not murder by being angry at your fellow believer. If you want to be safe do not be angry at your brother. For this is equal to murder. Every time there is anger there is death. Let God clean all unrighteousness in us and we remain pure because of the righteousness He has given us. The one who murders has to stand in judgment.

There are many things that we do that can make God judge us. There can never be anger and forgiveness at the same time. You can never be angry and yet forgive. Where there is forgiveness there is no longer anger. What defeats anger is forgiveness. If you want anger not to rule in you, forgive. Forgive them even if they have not asked for forgiveness. You need to defend your brother in your heart. Most of us have already labelled our fellow brothers. Defend your brother whereby you do not think of anything worse. Forgiveness can never be robbed. Forgive them even when they have never asked for forgiveness. The cross is a place of forgiveness and not grudges. There needs to be peace in your heart for God to speak. The Holy Spirit cannot speak if your heart is not settled.

[Psalms 37:7-11]

Anger is spiritual. Do not rob yourself. Live as a free person. Allow God to do things as He wants. No one plants a seed and goes back and opens the ground to see how far it is. You plant and water the seed. Do not be competitive but allow God to do what He wants in your life at His own pace. Live in your heart knowing you are the richest person. Many Christians are killed because they are not satisfied. Be content in your heart and mind. Never serve money but work as though you are working for Christ. 

Some people are successful because of their wicked ways and you envy them. You do not only partake in what they have but also in their wicked ways. There’s no anger that produces righteousness. The minute you feel that you are angry stop. In your anger do not act. Do not make any decisions. Anger puts you in trouble. Master anger. When anger tells you to do something, do the opposite.

[Ecclesiastes 7:9]

Most of us when we get angry, we feel like we have the right to be angry. You do not have a right to be angry. It does not matter what the person does. There is no reason enough to be angry. People in anger think that they are wise. Anger proves itself right. It shows how correct it is. In love, there is no need for that. Do not be easily provoked. You cannot provoke what is not there. When you are a person who is always provoked it means that there is something in you. Deal with what provokes you. Remove it before it gets provoked.

Anger is in the spirit and not in the flesh. Anger defiles your spirit. You want your spirit to be dirty continue to live in anger. We must mature in such a way that we do not get angry. Anger makes you sit on the high throne. A person without anger has a sound mind. Many Christians are victims of anger. Anger knows how to birth itself. An angry mother births angry children. Master anger.

A place of prayer is not a place of anger. When you master anger, you will always look like a fool. Expect to be like a fool because you are mastering anger. The wise are always angry. Some of you the pains that you have it is the anger that you are carrying. You will never know how heavy your heart is until you have released that person. Do not be easily provoked because when you are easily provoked your spirit gets defiled. Anger raises thieves and depressed children.

[Proverbs 15:1-2]

Sometimes it is more important to be gentle than to be harsh because the more you are harsh the more you stir up anger. Sometimes to deal with an angry person be gentle.

[Proverbs 14:17,29]

Do not allow your emotions to control you. A person loses his maturity in anger. Anger makes you immature. You are who you are because of Christ and not what has been done to you. Be a person who listens and makes a decision in the upper room.
