THE CROSS IS OUR TRUE SUFFERINGS-Part 2
June 23, 2022
ARISE AND WALK
July 22, 2022[1 Corinthians 15:39-47]
When we speak about the sufferings, we are referring to His death. Present time we are talking about the day which is the secret place. Glory to be revealed we are talking about His resurrection. Everything has its own kind of glory.
The sun, the moon, and the stars have their own glory. Joseph sees a vision where the sun, the moon, and stars bowed down to his own star. The sun represents the Son. The moon represents the mother. The mother is Israel. The stars represent us, believers. Children of Abraham are not of birth but those who believe are children of Abraham. In those stars, we have our brother which is Christ. When Jesus was born there was a star that the wise men had to follow to go to Jesus.
The bible says that even in the resurrection there is glory. It means that when Lazarus was raised, there was glory and there was a kind of glory that was produced. The resurrection of the dead will produce glory.
When Jesus was born, a star was seen up there but God said to Abraham that He will make his descendant numerous as stars. We have Jesus who is a descendant of Abraham. Biologically He is a Son of Israel. When Jesus was baptized and a Spirit like a dove came upon Him, Christ came into Him. What was promised was now in Jesus. The star was no longer above but it was in Jesus.
When Jesus Christ was crucified, He gave up the ghost. That ghost is Christ. He laid down His life. No one can kill Christ. What prevented Jesus from being killed was because of Christ. When He was dead, He was dead for three days. The bible says that the Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead, is the Spirit that will quicken our bodies. The Spirit raised Jesus and not Christ because Christ cannot die.
That Spirit (Christ) raised Jesus from the dead. The Spirit no longer dwells in Jesus but Jesus dwells in the Spirit. Before the crucifixion, He is Jesus Christ because Christ is in Jesus. But after the resurrection, He is called Christ Jesus because Jesus is in Christ. Christ is the glory of God. Christ means the anointed one. Jesus was not anointed with oil, but He was anointed with the Spirit which is Christ. Christ is the glory of God which is the anointed of God.
When it says that the glory that is in us must be revealed, it means that Christ who is in us must be revealed. We must be anointed by Christ. People go and chase the anointing but the ultimate anointing that we must receive is Christ. The glory that we must receive is not of material things but of Christ. You must partake from the resurrected Christ. We carry in us the death of Christ so that we may partake in the resurrected Christ.
Surviving does not mean you are giving out life. The first Adam did not become the dying Adam but a living being. Do not live to live but live to give life. We are not meant to survive but we are meant to live and give life. When you live, you die. Adam lived and died and never gave life. When Adam died, he left the whole world with sin. What you can inherit from a living being is sin. We were sinners before we could even sin.
[Romans 3:20-24]
Every time God speaks about righteousness it is glory. You become a partaker in His sufferings by you having faith. We partake in His righteousness, and we see the glory that is revealed. We need the righteousness of God. The righteousness of God produces eternal glory.
When it says that all have sinned it even counts those who are not yet born now. Every human who would exist has sinned already. We have inherited sin from the first Adam. He was a living being. If you are also going to live, people are going to receive sin from you. The sin that they will receive from you will leave them naked.
When it says that all fall short of glory, it means that they had glory but fell short of it. When glory was checked it was no longer there. Each and everybody has its own glory but that glory fades away. If you depend on your glory that glory will fade away. That is not what we need in the church. We need glory that is one glory that glorifies the Father in heaven.
Only the death and the resurrection of Jesus brought that glory that was in the beginning. That place is the secret place. The glory has long been there, but people have not revealed it because it was hidden. It needs to be revealed. When Jesus Christ was resurrected, He revealed the glory that was there in the beginning.
Any living being will leave you with sin. Anyone who tries to produce his glory for his own will produce sin and fall short of glory. The church is without glory because that glory is celebrated for a month but that is not real glory. The real glory must be revealed in us. not the glory of material things but the glory that everyone will partake in it. As long as you believe in Jesus Christ you will partake in this glory.
[Philippians 3:9-11]
Some people have their own glory. Not that you do not have glory, but you have your own glory. As long as you walk with your own glory, we have not yet reached the ultimate which is oneness. If you consider your own sufferings you will produce your own glory. It is not permanent glory. We need the church to produce the real glory and that glory can be produced if it is produced by the resurrected Christ. The glory that the church needs to have is the glory of the resurrected Christ. You must consider the sufferings of Christ as your own glory. One needs to partake in the sufferings of Christ. Every resurrection has its own glory.
Own righteousness will always produce sin and when it produces sin, we fall short of glory. When righteousness comes, we receive one glory. No one is greater than the other. In Christ, we are one.
We are the true star. You are a city on a hill the light that cannot be hidden. God will fight for His own star. God will make sure that all rubbish ends up to the star. Let the wind blow rubbish to the star. Glory is the one that holds power.
You can know the death of Jesus but not the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Let the life of Christ manifest in us. let the glory of Jesus manifest all over. God is calling us as a church to walk in the glory of the resurrection.
