“LET YOUR MIND[SOUL] ABIDE IN HIS PRESENCE”~Part 1

[1 John 3:4-7]

What usually destruct a person is what is within not what is on the outside, therefore never allow your mind to galavant but be in God at all times. (Verse 6) Whoever abides in Him does not sin, however, do note that sin is not being preached but what is taught is the highest standard that every individual must reach. We need to learn and never have a habit and boast about knowing certain scriptures. Everything is anew and we must always read the same scriptures as though we reading them for the very first time and go deep into them and hear what God says.

Jesus was manifested to take away our sins, the sole purpose of Jesus Christ dying on the cross was to abolish our sins. He came in a human form to do away with our sins. In Him there was no sin, meaning He was a blameless lamb. An individual without the Presence of God is identified by the presence of sin in their lives. However, in the world sin is a normal thing because they do not know God and they do not have a relationship with Him.

Everything begins in disobedience. When you see someone sinning, note that disobedience is the root of how the sin started. Therefore the deeds or sin itself started somewhere and that was through disobedience, they did not randomly start sinning. Therefore sin is disobedience – being disobedient to the Word of God.

He who dwells in the Word cannot sin. When we see a person sinning, it is evidence of where they spend their time. When you spend time in the presence of God you cannot sin. You need to be kept by the presence of God in you. It is often easy to mistaken the presence of God within church premises, while the very same Presence of God is not in you.

The flesh finds strength when your spirit wants to delight in Him but the flesh fights it and it is able to stand. The flesh draws strength when your spirit wants to pray and that is how it becomes strong. Therefore he who abides in God, their flesh automatically knows the voice and will be able to comply when the voice says no. Any flesh that does not know the voice of God is the very same one which sin. The minute any individual sins know that they have separated themselves from the Presence of God because it is impossible to sin in His Presence.

[Genesis 3:1-4]

Eve was in the garden but her mind was somewhere else because the serpent did not come to the garden it is Eve who went where the serpent was. Physically Eve was in the garden but her mind was where the serpent was. The serpent was in darkness and the woman was in the light. Even when the woman was in the light, her mind was not in the garden but it was wandering in the darkness. Hence it was easy for her to sin because her mind was no longer in the garden, her focus was somewhere.

With that said this is what happens to many people because their minds are not constantly in fellowship. He who abides in the Lord does not sin because his mind is in the Presence. When your mind is somewhere you are in the field where you can be tempted. You need to be in fellowship at all times, your mind needs to be in fellowship. You can go to the temple while your mind is not there. That is what was happening with the priests, they were going to the temple but their minds were far from the presence (see Isaiah 29:13)

[Joshua 1:6-9]

You cannot abide in the Presence without meditating upon the Word you have received. In your mind, the Word is already there but you need to constantly meditate. Meditation – is continuously practiced. Therefore if you keep the Word, it is sufficient for you. If you meditate on the Word you cannot sin. People do what is not in the Word because in their minds they do not meditate on the Word.

It is not temptation that comes first but the Word. Temptation comes to move you away from the Word you have received. The Word is the one that causes you to have enemies. Everything that you see in the world as sin is because of the Word. When the Word is not there or preached, then the devil’s existence is void and there is nothing that he can do because the darkness is there to compete with light. However light exists on its own without the darkness. The Word you have received binds you and that is then when temptation creeps in. The devil wants you to do the opposite of the Word you have received.

The first sin is disobedience, hence what should come first should be the Word which you will be obliged to comply with. You need to meditate on the Word to be obedient.

Whoever abides in Him can never sin. You need to abide in the Lord. Do not abide in Him physically only but also mentally(Mind). Obligation comes after receiving the Word, and your compliance will be determined by what you do after receiving the Word. You remain in His Presence by abiding in the Word. Hearing the sermon or what is being preached is not abiding, but abiding in the Word is meditation. Therefore when you know Him it is difficult to go away because your mind is used to be in His presence, it is difficult to sin.

When you practice righteousness, you practice according to what you have been taught. Let your mind spend more time in the Word than your physical body. We need to worship God in truth and in Spirit. You obey God not in church buildings but in your mind.

[Acts 3:15-22]

We can only become what God wants us to be by being in His presence. Disobedience comes by not doing what you hear. Jesus did not only come to go to the cross but He came in a form that we can hear Him. The soul- is the mind, the soul needs to meditate and it needs to hear the Word of God. Often most people it is their bodies that fellowships but their minds are far. Your soul needs to hear the Word of God, many sin because their soul does not hear the Word of God. You are struggling because you are not meditating upon the Word.

The spoken Word of God needs to be in your mind. (Verse 22) A prophet whom God raised to speak to your mind and not your body. We have been spending time with people and not with God. You need to be taught true fellowship and that is fellowship in the mind. People have not been praising God but going with the flow. You need to praise God because of who He is in you. You need to give thanks to God.

[John 1:11-12]

Repent and change, when you hear the Word of God do such. Jesus came to His own and His own did not listen to Him. A sign that you have received me is not when you call me papa but when you meditate on the teachings I give you. Receiving the one God has sent, is when you meditate upon the Word they have taught you. You need to fellowship with the spiritual shepherd in your mind(meditation)
