‘LIFE THAT IS FOUND IN THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST’ Part 2

[John 6: 39-69]
This is the Will of the Father who has sent Me that of all He has given Me, I should not lose. The minute you die He(Jesus Christ) has lost you. This is the perfect Will of God who has sent Me(Jesus Christ) that I should not lose any of those God has given Me but raise them up. When they die Jesus lost them. They must live but if they fall asleep in death, I should raise them up. When you die you are lost, but because of the mercies and grace, you will be resurrected. Yet this is not the perfect Will of God. His perfect Will for you is to not lose you. That is why the bible says that death is a thief. You lose when they steal from you.

He is speaking about life and it is not about you losing you in the Gospel, or losing your faith, or by you going back to the world, but it is falling asleep in death. This is what we do when we confront death we tend to ask ourselves questions that link us to reality. Is not this Jesus the son of Mary and Joseph? Every time we encounter sickness, is this not cancer that killed people? We bring reality that contaminates our faith. They forgot and they could not hold on to the teachings and the promise that Jesus promised them.

They went beyond what Jesus was giving them to the reality they were seeing. Jesus was saying that they must not see this man but see beyond. Do not bring reality to faith. The opposite of faith is not reality. Why are you using reality to replace faith? There is no one fighting with faith but faith is a standard and stands on its own.

Jesus said ’Your fathers ate and died and now I bring something better- the bread that comes from heaven.’ They are not disputing the fact that there is the bread that comes from heaven but the matter is eating it and not dying. They know of their fathers who ate bread, which comes from heaven, so it is not a foreign thing. What matters is the form in which bread came to them. According to what they were taught in their law, they are not supposed to eat the flesh that has blood in it.

This was a tough teaching because the law became their reality that when the fulfillment of the law came which was Jesus they could not receive. Resurrection has become our reality than even when immortality comes we cannot receive it. They believed about resurrection but for them to eat His flesh, it is against what they were taught. Jesus gave them an opportunity to crucify Him. They hated Jesus that even when He said kill Me, they could not. They disqualified themselves to crucify Jesus.

Jesus said that ‘this is My flesh’ meaning that they can open Him and crucify Him. They asked themselves how this man could say this to us? When we eat Holy Communion, we abide in Him and Him in us. Jesus has eaten the Father [life]. What qualifies you to be a son of someone is the blood you carry. So Jesus carries royal and godly blood. Mortal man is bound to die but when we eat the flesh of Jesus Christ, we become priests, kings.

We carry the identity of His blood. Jesus said ’I have eaten and now I live because of the Father, so whoever feeds on Me(Jesus Christ) will live because of the identity I carry.’ Their fathers ate but died because the bread had no identity. When they kept the manna, the following day it was corrupted. Whatever they ate could not sustain the body but brought corruption instead. People, who believed in His message, people who believed that He is the Messiah; these are the Christians that believed that Jesus died and rose again.

What will divide the church is what we are teaching now. All along they were walking together and believed that the sick get healed. They believed that Lazarus got sick and died and he was raised. Now when it comes to eating the body, eating the flesh they equal it only to Provita. They could not see beyond that. When we eat Jesus literally it divides the church. Now manna appeared in a form of bread and because it came in a form of the flesh, people could not receive Him.

They were looking to understand the Spirit. What brought death was their minds. It was not a believe but understanding. Death was in their mind and they wanted life in it. They said it is a hard teaching and who can understand this. How many want to understand the Spirit? You may find that many people are born again because they understand.

When God comes with what they do not understand they drawback. We are not preaching to convince but to bring conviction so that they can believe. You need to be convicted and you need to believe, and it becomes what you understand. You do not understand to believe. Thomas was different and to him, it was a matter that he must touch. So to some of us, we do not have to come to a point where we touch. The Spirit comes and convicts but we go back the minute we want to understand.

I(Jesus Christ) am speaking about life and life offends you, so what will happen, if I go back to the form I was before? It was supposed to be simple for them to understand drinking Jesus’ blood. It means that Jesus as the Word they could not accept Him. He took a form that was despised. It is not a matter of this body and blood. If Jesus Christ goes back to that form they will not accept even further. It is not what He has become that brings life but it is what He is. It is the Spirit that gives life. Since it is difficult for you to remember the Spirit because your mind does not know the Spirit let Me(Jesus Christ) come in a form you will remember.

There is no profit when you believe in the flesh you need to believe the Spirit but because you are failing to believe in the flesh, how can you believe the Spirit? So you are supposed to believe the words that I(Jesus Christ) if you could have believed in the words that I spoke the cross might not have been necessary. The Father wounded the Son not by crucifixion but by speaking. When they spoke, they should have believed.

Jesus speaks about betrayal, so betrayal leads to the cross. The cross was unnecessary. When He spoke to them, they should have seen the lamb crucified. They failed to see Jesus wounded. They failed to see Jesus with blood. Manna was never broken that is why they were looking for manna. They could not see the bleeding manna and that is why He knew in His heart that they would not believe. Therefore there was a need for the betrayer. What made Judas to be utilized it was through their disbelief.

If they believed, maybe there was a possibility that Judas’s life would not have gone the way it went or how it was supposed to be. Jesus told them that no one could stand in His presence unless the Father granted it. Peter saw the cross that is why even though he was not there when Jesus was crucified, but the cross could work for him. He saw Jesus crucified. What you need is to hold on to who Jesus is not what he has become is. Even when you are going to eat, do not see it as what it has become.

Remember that everything exists through Christ. When we eat and we do not think about His Word we are sinning against our own body. Only the Word can give life to the Word. You are immortal and what you are eating you must see immortality. Do not make a reality out of what is not real in your life. You are living in a spiritual realm, so do not demote yourself to the level of the physical.
