‘CONFESS TO OBTAIN GRACE AND MERCY’

[Psalms 73:1-6]
The wicked have beautiful houses and cars hence many Christians envy most of them. People who know God cannot afford those houses and that is an error. It would be wonderful if we as believers have more than our heart desires. When we can afford all these material things that we want because according to this scripture the believers envy the ungodly.
Asaph could not understand why the ungodly are rich, this prayer states his confusion clearly. It was until he came to the sanctuary of God that he understood that the ungodly actually have an end. Asaph has been afflicted and every morning brought new punishments for him as he spoke of how he envies the ungodly. Had Asaph continued envying what they had, he would have betrayed our children. This means that by envying the ungodly we are not only destroying ourselves but also our children. We as Christians have been betrayed by the people who came before us. They were envious of the world and therefore we should not do the same to our children.
Asaph realized that he had confessed what he desired. What he envied would have destroyed even his generations to come but when he came to the sanctuary of God he started understanding that things that are happening in the church are caused by envy that the church has towards the world. These things that happen in the church are not supposed to be happening, but the church envies unbelievers, they inherit even the sicknesses and death of the world only because of envy.
When he started focusing on God, he understood that all that he envied had an end. So, when we as the church envy the ungodly, we invite their curses upon us. We need to stop envying the world in every possible way. We need to stop wanting to be the world. As believers, we should focus on Christ because everything will follow us. As the scripture says that “seek first the Kingdom of God, and the rest shall follow.” When we are focused on God, we receive the treasures of darkness, we receive the gatherings of the wicked. Our focus on the Lord will surely bring us wealth because what the unbelievers have gathered belongs to us.
[Genesis 2:4]
God said that let there be light in day 1. In the beginning, God created the light (Christ) as John tells us that in the beginning there was the Word and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. This is what happened in day one. In day two, water from above was separated from water from below. In day three, the earth and seas were created. In day four, the sun and the stars were created. In day five He created animals and on day 6 He created man and on the 7th day, He rested.
Remember one thousand years to the Lord is equals to one day. So, in all these days where God worked, it was in the thousand years that passed. Now in day four, it was the years of division between before Christ and after Christ.
As we say that we are in the 20th century we are on day two according to God’s time. Our years now are increasing instead of decreasing, before Christ, the years were decreasing. This is from day three going down, but after day four, which is the cross, the years started to increase. When Jesus Christ was born the timeline was on zero years. Then on, the years started to increase to this day. When God said let there be, He was calling Jesus into being and the Word became flesh. On day one God said that “let there be light” Christ became and on day two God separated the water below and above. Day two was actually representing the days of Abraham, remember that God had blessed him with descendants as numerous as stars and sand.
On day three, God planted the trees which represent David. Day three is the years of David, and this is where whoever believes in God is planted by the river. Day four the moon, stars, and light take us to the book of Revelations where the dragon wanted to devour the woman and her child. It says that the dragon had the stars and the moon. Meaning it was darkness, which takes us back to the day of crucifixion. When Jesus Christ was crucified even though it was during the day it became dark. Day five is where new creatures we created, and on day six, He made man. This is where we die completely to ourselves.
We are a generation that is living above the 6th day. We are the generation of immortality because we are the middle generation. Day six is around us but there is still a generation that is still dying because they do not believe in God and us. And we also have this generation that is resting in God the immortal generation.
[Isaiah 11:1-2]
The seven Spirit of the Lord mentioned represent the seven days of creation. The Spirit of the Lord, Wisdom, Understanding, Counsel, Strength, Knowledge, and Obedience (The fear of the Lord.)
[Revelations 1:12]
The seven stars are the seven angels of the Lord who blew trumpets, this is the Word that was released during the outpouring of the Spirit of God.
[Revelations 4:5]
Although God is one in Him, there are seven Spirit that came down upon the root of Jesse. God created everything in 7 days and on each day there were different manifestations. There was a time in the Bible where the seven Spirit of God were manifesting and obedience is reigning. I believe that obedience comes with resting. Those who obey are those who are at rest and that is why God is calling us to obedience to His rest. On this day we listen and rest as the Lord leads us to greener pastures.
We are anointed to obey, to listen. The Lord said that those who hear the voice must listen to what the Spirit is saying. Those who obey are those who listen. In the book of Revelations when God sent out the seven angels, He gave them one thing in common which is “let he who has an ear listen to what the Spirit is saying.” We are the most difficult generation because we are from a generation of people who are dying and we are stepping into immortality.
[Genesis 2:4]
Heaven and earth were created before the day and then on day 1, there was light. So, when you speak of the beginning we speak of 7 generations.
[Mathew 6:9]
As Jesus was leading the disciples in prayer, He mentioned that “give us this Day” we need a Day which is Jesus, from day 1 till day 7. It is important that we pray to need the Day in our lives. When God entered the seventh day, He touched and completed all the days before. When you enter the seventh Day you rest. All the generations that lived in day one till day six, had life but not immortality.
So, this generation needs to enter the 7th Day, to complete what the other generations did not complete. Day one to six are still in bondage waiting to be released so we ought to enter Day 7 because we can only rest through obedience.
