ENDURE TEMPTATIONS BY MEDITATING ON THE WORD
May 11, 2022
KNOW THE VOICE OF YOUR SHEPHERD
May 17, 2022Welcome to Yeshua Ministries, A city on a hill, the light that can never be hidden. This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice in it. I can’t wait for tonight; I believe it is going to be a very powerful service where we will be going deep in the Word and I believe everyone will go out with the Word of God rooted in them. No one should be lost, I always say a mind that doesn’t have the Word is a friend of the world, but the minute you are in the Word you become the enemy to the world. Jesus has already conquered the world; meaning the Word has already conquered. Only when we become in the Word, we become more than conquerors. It is not just by virtue of being born of God but by having the Word of God in us, so if the Word of God is truly in us, we have truly defeated the world.
A person who doesn’t testify doesn’t deserve the next miracle. An ungrateful person doesn’t deserve God doing wonders in their lives. To show that one is thankful, one testifies, so it is important for a Christian to testify. Declarations are sufficient to change your situation. When you believe in the declarations, you believe in the spoken Word that was said in the beginning. In Genesis 1, God didn’t lay hands but He spoke and said “Let there be”, which itself is a declaration. Believe in the spoken Word that was said from the beginning, for it is sufficient to change your life. The minute I come and say “Be blessed” believe that it is enough. A spoken Word is sufficient to change your life.
As a believer, our Gospel is birthed by the Word we must go back to what was in the beginning and let it change our lives as well as everything around us. I believe when the Word is spoken, whoever must fulfill it, he/she shall fulfill it. The highest authority is in the Word, not in the anointing. The greatest authority you have over demons is the Word. Believe in the Word that is spoken. When you hear declarations, take it and run with it, because a declaration is a Word spoken in your life. Today I want us to have a special service. I won’t be ministering but we’ll be having a question and answer session through teachings. Be ready to eat from above, today we’ll be eating in a unique way. There were times when Jesus stood and said “blessed are, blessed are…” and there were times when disciples came and asked what should they do, they came asking questions and Jesus started to teach.
Question: Greetings viewers and Daddy. My first question is; When Jesus Christ was with the disciples and the Pharisees, He was teaching them about divorce. He was teaching them about how wrong divorce is. My question is, as Christians what happens when a husband decides to divorce his wife and then marry again? The bible teaches us that by doing so, one is committing adultery through that deed. So, I want to know that until how long is the husband considered to be committing adultery, from the time he got married again or when he becomes intimate with another wife? Is it going to be something that is going to last forever or there will be a time when God will forgive that person?
Answer: The moment you say ‘how long’, that’s another thing. Marriage doesn’t have a time frame. Divorce on its own, it’s adultery, it doesn’t matter if before it was adultery then now you prayed about it and God forgave you. Firstly, for us to understand what Jesus spoke about, we must understand what Marriage is. Some people consider Lobola as marriage, sleeping with someone as marriage, etc, but marriage according to the Word of God is when God brings two people together. Some people think they are married but they are not married because God was not there the day, they were getting married. A person can come stand before you and declare you husband and wife but if that person doesn’t have God, then God has not constituted that marriage, meaning there’s no marriage. It is only God who can bring people together, it is only Him that has an authority to constitute a marriage.
When we say there are marriages that are not in Glory, we mean those are marriages that God has not constituted. Remember when one goes to Home Affairs to sign a Marriage Certificate, God is not there, when you pay Lobola it is only families, God is not there. As long as God has not constituted a union between two people, then they are not considered married before God. I always advice people that now that they know the truth, if they got married before knowing the truth, they must now go to a man that walks with the Lord so he can bless their union, for it is important to be blessed by God. Even Adam and Eve didn’t just go and live together but God blessed them. So, what is marriage? It is when God blesses you. In the days of Adam and Eve, there were no ministers sent as representatives of Christ to officiate their marriage, so it was God who blessed them. In [Mathew 28] and [Mark 16] God has sent out ministers and said if you welcome them, you have welcomed Me and if you believe them, you have believed Me. So when the very same ministers that God has sent bless you, you are now married. There are some marriages that are officiated by people who God has never sent, and that’s not marriage. They think it is marriage but it is not.
So, now when coming to divorce, suppose you are dating another person and you guys break up, that is not divorce because you are not married. Divorce applies only to people who are married. Divorce applies where the Will of God is. It needs to be the Will of God that constitutes that marriage. In issues of the period, it’s not a matter of now you’re married then you divorce then I pray that may the Lord forgive me. When one is out of the Will of God, he is out. Some things will never be the permissible Will of God, it only has to be the perfect Will of God. Permissible Will is only there when one disobeys the perfect Will. Sometimes God doesn’t allow some things to be in a permissible Will, He only wants His perfect Will. When some people get divorced, I tell them that the Will is the biggest thing, you need to be in the Will and if you are confused about what is the Will and what is not the Will; stay single forever. The Will of God is very important, there are some cases where the permissible Will does not apply, if you apply permissible Will, there will be a huge costs and consequences.
Question: As we know that sex before marriage is a sin and marriage without sex is also a sin, and there’s where Paul writes in the book of Corinthians that husband and wife must not deprive one another. What happens now when I or my wife happens to be involved in a car accident resulting in either one of us not being able to perform our duties as a wife or husband? So does that mean my marriage is sinful because we don’t have sex?
Answer: Indeed sex before marriage is a sin and marriage without sex is a sin, but the difference between the two is that their consequences are not the same. When a couple is married and they don’t become intimate they lose their oneness. Sex was created by God so that there can be oneness. Besides pleasure there must be oneness and oneness begins in the mind. Intimacy is not when two people are having penetration but intimacy begins from the oneness of the mind. It is intimacy when you pray together when you read the Word of God together when making decisions together as one voice when you spend time together and it is intimacy when you have sex. Intimacy is broad, it is not only when two people have sexual intercourse.
As husband and wife, you have to be one. To answer your question; God says your body belongs to your spouse and vice versa, issues of pleasure are not one-sided. Intimacy is a matter of one pleasing the other, and one being concerned about the pleasures of the other. The Bible in 1 Corinthians 7 says “A man who is single is devoted to Christ, a man that is married is thinking about pleasing God and their spouse”. When you are married to the Word, and you try to please your wife, you please the Word because you are married to the Word. It is important for Christ to marry Christ, it is important for the Word to marry the Word. When we are now both the Word, we’re not divided because what I do when I please my wife, I please the Word. Paul says when I stand and speak, it is no longer I but Christ.
When one gets involved in an accident, your bodies belong to each other, therefore, please each other through your bodies, it’s not a matter of private parts. Intimacy is not through intercourse only. When you love someone, you find pleasure in whatever they are doing.
Question: Thank you for the opportunity, my question is; what happens when I’m with one of my brothers or sisters but our spirits reject each other? Is it possible for my spirit to reject another person’s spirit, even if we’re in the same anointing?
Answer: Yes, it is. We only have one spirit which is the Spirit of Christ, but the Spirit of Christ can identify what is in another person and reject that. The Spirit might be dealing with something from the other person, the Spirit is protecting you from what is in that person. It is not hatred. Another reason for this is a matter of purpose; two people cannot walk together while having the same spirit, and God wants to use them separately. So, when your purposes are not the same, the Holy Spirit will separate you. Remember we are here to fellowship and not to make friends, and if we are here to fellowship it has to be in the ways of God. So if in me talking to you doesn’t bring glory, then there is no need for us to talk.
It happens a lot in the church because people are not obedient to the Spirit inside of them. There are people in the church who walk with people they are not supposed to walk with and you find that the Holy Spirit has been warning them to stay away from certain people. We’re not saying there are different spirits amongst us, we carry one Spirit but God knows what’s going to happen in the future. Do you think God would have allowed you to be friends with Judas? No, because God knows that Judas has one purpose; which is to follow Him and betray Him. There are some people in the church, who become spirit-filled for a certain purpose, and so if you are not careful, you will find yourself as collateral damage. Some Christians left the church and died spiritually because they are collateral damage, while God warned them many times. Some of you are a danger to each other, and all you should be doing is greeting each other and ending there.
God knows which one is danger to which one, so the Holy Spirit will protect you. Some will even go to an extent of saying someone hates them, only to find out that it’s the spirit in them refusing your spirit, the Holy Spirit doesn’t allow that. That is why it is important to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit in your everyday walk as well as in church. Some bad connection is not that they will go to hell. Some are bad connection because they are enemies and some are bad connection because they are bad for each other. Paul and Peter can never sit at the same table and eat. They are two different people, that’s why God had to separate their ministries. Peter for Jews and Paul for Gentiles. Some are possessed, some have sinned against the anointing and some are a danger to you. Be careful of such, so don’t feel guilty, trust the spirit that is in you. It is the work of the Holy Spirit within you.
Question: Greetings Daddy and thank you for this opportunity. My question is about hearing the voice of God and the Will of God. Are there repercussions or penalties when we don’t follow what God is saying at that time? Be it when God speaks, when we pray or when you speak in the pulpit and we hear the voice of God yet we choose to argue with the Will of God? Can God restore what He was supposed to bless us with at that time when we chose to argue with the Will of God?
Answer: When it comes to the Will of God, there are different situations in life; e.g. the Will of God for me was to become a Minister of the Gospel, to some the Will of God might be to stand and give that other person shoes, meaning the repercussions are also different. The other thing that will determine whether you are forgiven or restored is the urgency of what God instructs you to do. There are some things when God instructs you to do, God wants them as soon as possible.
My advice to all Christians is that when God teaches about His Will, the first thing is, that He’ll start teaching you about the small things so you can be clear and sensitive enough to hear what is it that God wants from you. Once you become more grown spiritually, you no longer become hesitant or argue.
Wrestling with the will of God is a sign of immaturity, when you have grown spiritually you no longer become hesitant but you just do. Once one becomes intimate and one with God, he/she will not contest what God has spoken, but will always do what God wants from him/her. Gods speak in little things, the small things; things like what to eat and which food to buy. Even in small things, the Holy Spirit still speaks. Master listening to God in the small things then the Holy Spirit will speak to you in big things as well. God wants to be one with us, when you become one with God you can never say no to His Will. When He says do this, you do. It is very easy to minister to the spirit because the spirit is speaking to the spirit. While it is difficult to minister to the flesh because with the flesh, you have to collect them from where you are not.
When you become one, you will not hesitate. The one that does not love the will of God is not one with the will. When you do not do the will of God, there is rejection. So the stakes are too high, thus there is no time to be hesitant. It is a privilege to be a worshipper, an usher, etc. Do not take it for granted. There are some disobediences which are a cost to one’s life. People must serve God with reverence and be careful.
Question: My question is more biblical, it’s in the book of Genesis. [Genesis 2: 7-9] and [Genesis 3:6], I want to understand that wasn’t it obvious that Eve saw that the tree was pleasing to the eye?
Answer: When we do not desire something, it does not mean it is not desirable. If you focus on God, your desire will be for God. In [Hebrews 12] “Let us lay aside anything that easily entangles us….” the tree was there; it was desirable but she (Eve) couldn’t see that at all. Desire comes through information, what is the source of that information? Someone can marry the right woman but the marriage becomes wrong because the source of your desire is not spiritual. One can lust their wife, and lust is sin and lust have its source. Love is spiritual and God is love. So, who told Eve?
The serpent came and told her, now the source was no longer God but the source is the serpent. You are not supposed to lust over your wife for it is the flesh speaking. Some dream of sleeping with their wives, which now results in a spiritual wife. The devil is using the very same wife/husband as an attack. God says desire is not wrong, but what you desire and the source of your desire is the one that is wrong. When I explain the teaching where God says “David I will give you your heart desires” those heart desires are not of the flesh, because David is a man after God’s heart so his desires is the Word.
Question: Let’s say I am married and my husband becomes unfaithful and I decide to divorce him, am I allowed to marry again?
Answer: Remember when one catches the other in adultery, that’s when they can consider divorce. Then Jesus further says that this was allowed because they hardened hearts, meaning that to spirit-filled people the bible doesn’t expect you to have that concept of “I need to leave this marriage”. What is it that is bigger than forgiveness? We need to ask ourselves that question because marriage is not only about us, and as we are married we are representing Christ and the Church. So, what is it that is bigger than forgiveness? One must remember that if there is anything you can’t forgive in your marriage, you are then saying there is nothing Christ can’t forgive the Church for.
People must be careful and understand that before they enter into marriage, marriage is meant to be forever. My father Papa Lesego likes advising people that “let it rather not be you that leaves, but let it be the other person that chooses to leave you.” When it is you who chooses to initiate the divorce, the sin of divorce will be on you. Forgiveness does not mean reinstating of position. One can forgive you but yet you won’t be reinstated to the same position. You remain as a wife but they are not a husband. So, remain in your position. You are not obligated to have sexual intercourse with him (the husband), you remain as a wife but he is not your husband, as he is disqualified. If there is no reinstatement, you can’t be intimate with him.
If your husband divorces you, don’t marry again. Be married to Christ, live for Christ. The mistake people make is when they want to get divorced, they think of remarrying. So, focus on God and live for God and your children. Most people that have divorced and got married again didn’t listen to God’s instruction thus they make mistakes. To show that most of them thought they were divorced but they were not divorced, you see how they are affected by their previous marriages. This just goes to prove that they moved on before time. Most of the people who remarried are still attached to their previous marriages.
There is one thing I will not do as a minister of the Gospel; which is to go against the Will of God. If you decide to divorce, then God tells you to marry another person and you want to marry them then you come to me and tell me you want to get married, I will not stop you. You are the one who will be accountable to God, not me. You know the Word and you have the teachings. I will not stand between what God has told you to do. My advice to everyone that wants to get divorced: stay single and live for God, and when you live for God and focus on Him, and when God comes and says “get married” you will know it is from God.
Question: Why is God showing things in parables through dreams? What are the consequences of rejecting what God shows, especially if it’s a mystery or in parables?
Answer: I want people to understand how the spiritual realm works, it is a parable to your mind as it is in the flesh but not to the spirit. So, when God comes and speaks to you in a dream, He speaks so clearly to the real you and the real you understand. The problem comes from the transmission from the spirit to the flesh. The Bible says a spirit man knows all things. Remember you are divided into 3 parts: the Spirit of God which He breathed in you, the soul which is the real you, and the flesh. When one dreams, the spirit is speaking to the soul (the real you). People don’t know that a dream happens within seconds, but the mind can play it for 30min or an hour. That is the mind interpreting what the spirit has said.
Let’s say in a dream, it shows that you are going to be a father, you are going to minister then your mind starts explaining through pictures what God has said to the real you. While it is showing you pictures, you then see your father having children then you see yourself, neighbour’s children, and so forth. What happens is your spirit actually says you are going to be a father but what actually transpired through your mind in the dream is the quick explanation for your mind that you are going to be a father, thus showing through your father in the dream having many children.
The Bible in Revelations speaks about what John saw (I saw a man like…) It is his mind trying to interpret what God was showing him. The only way he could explain what he saw in the dream; was his mind showed him through things he knew. God doesn’t necessarily speak to us in parables, He speaks to our spirit clearly but our mind fails to fully comprehend what God has said in the dream. A dream can have a mixture of what is good and what is not good. It can have a mixture of your desire and what God wants. God can show you marriage but the best way your mind can explain a wife to you is the one you are desiring. That’s why I always advice people to pray when they come and tell me that they have dreamt of marrying someone. Your mind can sometimes tamper with what God wants from you.
Question: What are the consequences of rejecting the parable in the dream?
Answer: The consequences of disobedience depend on what God was instructing you to do. With Peter, he was given a sheet full of animals to eat and he rejected that, but he was rebuked in the very same vision, there were no consequences because his vision was concerning what he was supposed to do when he goes to preach to Cornelius, his dream was all about what he was supposed to do. A person is more conscious in the spirit as well as in the dream.
I once dreamt of a great man of God instructing me to prophesy, at some point I wanted to prophesy then later I refused and told him that he is not my father so why is he telling me to prophesy. I rejected him then I saw my father seated on the right-hand side. When I woke up from the dream, I saw that it was a test and I passed the test. Had I prophesied in the dream, I would’ve failed the test. So, I was tested in the dream and I had to pass the test. I’m trying to show you that God can give you something in a dream and you reject it, and the consequences are what God wanted to give you in a dream you might not get it again.
Question: There was a teaching you taught about the promises of God and how a man can’t live on bread alone but the Word that proceeds from the mouth of God and you said the Word is the scriptures, the spoken Word. My question is based on the dream where God showed me something, I’m asking because I’m trying to figure out if there is something I misinterpreted or should I be patient? Like God can show you something in your life but that phenomenon doesn’t come, should I be patient and believe that it will come or did I tamper with what God is doing?
Answer: Concerning dreams, some dreams are not from God or they are mixed up with their own desires. I always advice people especially those that are young in spirit to go seek validation from their spiritual father concerning the interpretation of dreams and what this specific dream means, whether it is a desire or a dream from God. Some dreams can come from God but still requires patience, meaning God comes to you and tells you what is going to happen but that doesn’t happen immediately.
Even for me, there are some things God has promised me and I’m still waiting for them, there are things that God has shown me and I’ve seen them being fulfilled and some of the things are not yet fulfilled but I know that this is from God, it just needs me to be patient and pray. There is nothing wrong with asking God to show you a sign if something is from Him. I once taught about patience being the refining fire. I always tell people not to do anything without being sure because God is not a God of confusion. While there is still confusion, it means you are not yet close to your answer. People must learn to wait, especially if it’s a dream where God promised to do something in their lives. Let God do it for you. But if it’s a dream instructing you to do something, you have a right to ask for assurance because there is nothing wrong with that.
Question: After the Sunday service teaching, I repented from desire but what I want to find out is; how will I know if God has forgiven me? Will there be a change in my spiritual life to show that some things have changed in my life?
Answer: We must first understand that there are different types of sins and there are different consequences. There are some sins when one commits them, they don’t make them lose their positions. That’s why God teaches us about sins that lead to death. There are some sins if you commit them God becomes patient with you, you can commit them and God will not move you from your position. If it is sin that moves you from your position between you and God, it depends on which sin you have committed and it is He who will determine your position. Adam was never reinstated in the Garden of Eden because of the type of sin he committed. He was chased and not reinstated. It is only us who are allowed to go back through the Lord Jesus Christ.
Back to you, you know how sin affects you e.g., not being able to pray or read the Word of God anymore, etc. You then ask for forgiveness and God forgives you, yet some find that it is still tough they can’t pray like they used to. God wants us to be committed, we must show Him that we want His forgiveness. When a person wants to follow Jesus it means they believe, they have accepted Him and already they are born-again. But God says it doesn’t end there, they must take up their cross and follow Him. It means they must now be committed to “forgive” there must be something that changed. So, in you believing, you must take up your cross and follow Him.
Question: My question is about cutting people out of our lives. Are we allowed to cut off people that have wronged or hurt us? When we do it, is it outside of patience and allowing the hurt to finish its course? Because everything happens through the permission of God or we can choose for ourselves because we have had enough of those people?
Answer: I believe this question takes us back to the reinstating teaching. If this person was your sister or brother, or friend and they hurt you and you forgive them, you must measure what they have done to you. Some don’t need to be reinstated again especially if they reiterate their actions. Safeguard your heart at all times. You must ask yourself what is it that you have gained from their wrongdoing. You’d find out that sometimes you are offended. Sometimes it is good to distance yourself because those people keep on hurting you and it affects you spiritually; the flow of the Holy Spirit may not be there anymore.
Repentance in the dictionary means a change of ways not a change of words. Forgiveness comes when there is repentance.
When someone asks for forgiveness, you must discern if this is really forgiveness. Don’t be quick to reinstate people in their old positions. Be patient with them while they are there and God deals with them while they are there so they don’t hurt you again. Protect yourself as a temple, protect the temple.
Question: Greetings Papa, my question is also regarding dreams. In terms of cancelling dreams, how does one know which dream to cancel and which one is a message from God trying to warn or show you something?
Answer: In terms of dreams, the level of the Word in you will determine whether the dream is from God or not. I mostly advice people that are confused about certain dreams to go to their spiritual leader to seek advice or interpretation on what the dream is about. Some other dreams are obvious; they don’t need discernment to know whether they are from God or not. Any dream that is out of the Word of God is not from God, immediately after dreaming you just know that this dream is not of God therefore you must reject it.
For example, when the devil told Jesus to turn stones into bread, it was not sin because that is what Jesus initially came to do; to turn a stone into bread (the Word), the fulfillment is the Word. He gave them the law and the law was written on tablets of stone, so that was prophetic. He said I will take your stony hearts and give you a heart of the flesh, He became a stone so He can give us the flesh. So, what the devil told Him was not wrong, but the source of information was the devil. That’s why now we must discern if a particular dream is from God or not. But when you are confused, I advise you to go and ask your father but the level of the Word in you will also determine.
Question: Daddy based on safeguarding our hearts. I want to ask when must one stop reaching out to a person that has once hurt you? This doesn’t end with one person but it happens constantly with different people who I try to help where I end up being hurt all over again.
Answer: Lots of Pastors are victims of that, yours is a different situation. When it comes to us Pastors, the book of James 1 talks about helping widows and orphans, the true Gospel is in assisting those in need. For example, I can buy someone clothes but don’t look at it in that way, perceive it in a sense of you assisting Christ, then that way Christ won’t offend or hurt you because you chose to give to Christ and not that particular person. People will always hurt you.
Never change who you are, when you are a giver, you are a giver so never change who you are because when you are giving you are giving to the Kingdom, so detach yourself from that person and continue giving to Christ.
Question: My question is about fathering, if one decides to change from one spiritual father to the other, what happens to my destiny and my well-being?
Answer: One mustn’t change their spiritual father. God says He will give us spiritual shepherds after His own heart. You can’t submit to Saul while your father is David, you will become disqualified. If the pastor is still fine and in right standing with God, then you don’t have the right to leave, unless God tells you to submit elsewhere.
To answer the destiny question; is the Destiny from God or your spiritual father? God is the one who has placed the purpose in you, unless you went where God said you shouldn’t go then the destiny God had placed for you will die. Some destines died because they went where they are not supposed to, but to some, their destinies died because they were not from God.
Question: This question is concerning the tree of knowledge of good and evil why did God plant it there in the first place if He didn’t want Adam and Eve to eat from it?
Answer: There is a powerful message I once taught about “God created the devil” and there’s a perfect explanation, you must go check the message. People go and say Lucifer was an angel who later changed and became the devil, that’s their belief and I don’t believe that. When I read the very same Bible, Lucifer was a man and not an angel, the very same Isaiah they speak about. Lucifer wanted to be bigger than God, he was a man from Babylon but that’s another day teaching.
The teachings of “Lucifer is the devil” comes from the Roman Catholic Church, they came with such theories, while the bible says in Isaiah that God created darkness. In the book of Genesis, it says God planted the garden and in the very same garden, He planted the tree of knowledge of good and evil and the tree of life. He created both and in Him doing that, it doesn’t make Him less holy.
For you to understand the purpose of why God created the tree of knowledge and evil, I need you to understand why God created the devil. Darkness was not created to overwhelm the light, but the darkness makes us see the glory of the light. When I now go deep into the teaching of the tree of knowledge of good and evil and the tree of life, those are not literal trees but are people; two spirits. The tree of life represents Christ and the tree of knowledge of good and evil represents the devil himself.
People need to understand how the bible is written, I always say that the book of Genesis and the book of Revelations is the same. They are prophetic books, especially Genesis chapter 1 and chapter 2. Genesis 2 goes into more detail about chapter 1, while Genesis chapter 1 is the whole bible because the bible tells us that one day to God means a thousand years. What I’m trying to say is, that the book of Genesis is a mystery. It is complex. Disobedience is a sin of the spirit. The book of John teaches us about types of sins. There is a sin that is committed by your spirit and sin committed by the flesh. Genesis is deep, I love this book.
Question: In a life of a born-again child of God, what is that one common thing that God requires from us?
Answer: The biggest thing that God wants from us is to love Him with all our hearts, soul, and spirit. The minute you love Him with all your soul, heart, and spirit, you have a relationship with God and you are therefore one with Him, meaning you are married to Him. Marriage can never be about pleasing yourself. The main point of a relationship is to make sure that you love and please the other. Christianity is loving God with your heart, soul, and spirit, and it is having a relationship with Him. That’s a love relationship, and because you love Him your main purpose is to please Him. Worshiping without having a relationship with God is like having sex before marriage because there is no intimacy (marriage).
