“REPENTANCE SHOULD BE ACCOMPANIED BY A CHANGED BEHAVIOR” 

[Acts 3:15]

Repent is a change of ways and there should be fruits. Repentance is the change of ways not some but all. Repent and therefore be converted, this should be accompanied by change not only in the inner but also the outer. We ought to be converted into the perfect Will of God.

Our prayer rooms require a cleansing, we speak in tongues yet our minds are somewhere. Our prayer rooms must be a Holy places. Every time we speak in tongues we reset our minds and behaviors, when we speak in tongues there should be change. Although one speaks fluently in tongues in public yet in the prayer room same tongues cannot change you as a person.

Jesus instructed disciples to wait in Jerusalem when the tongue of fire came upon them and they started speaking in tongues(See Acts2). People gathered and wondered why they spoke in such a language, Peter then went and addressed the crowd. However, these people gathered and were not called, meaning when they were speaking in tongues it changed their hearts.

Your sins may be wiped, when we repent not even one sign of sin should be found in us. (Verse 19)The time of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, we need to be in the presence of the Lord.

[Acts 2:38-41]

Peter replied, “repent and be baptized every one of you, in the name of Jesus for the forgiveness of your sins.” You will therefore receive the gift of the Holy Spirit, without repentance one cannot receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Although we say we have repented the Father is still unhappy with us because we have not changed our ways.

Faith and repentance go hand in hand. Faith comes by hearing the Word of God and when one repents, they repent into the Word of God. Faith does not require one’s strength but requires one to hear the Word of God.

(Verse 39) The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far from. With many words He warned them and pleaded with them, save yourself from this corrupt generation. It is known that our generation is very corrupt and we were warned. Yet we have not changed our ways, hence we are still trying to save friendships.

Although declarations are being made in the house only few testify because some abort the Word, the seed then dies. You do not have fertile ground, hence the seed dies. We need deliverance and the last deliverance is in the mind, the way we meditate. We ought to change our ways and the way we think.

[Luke 3:1-11]

Therefore produce fruits that are worthy and consistent with our repentance, however, if the fruits are not consistent then it is only repentance of words and not actions. Live a changed life and turn from sin, then seek God and His righteousness. We can call many unto salvation if we live accordingly and walk in the ways of God.

(Verse 8) Do not even begin to say as a defense, we have Abraham as a father and expect things to happen easily. Salvation is personal. From these stones God is able to raise children and descendants for Abraham, God can replace the unrepentant regardless of their heritage with those who are obedient. We need to be obedient even with minor things. Every tree that does not bear fruits is being cut down and thrown into the fire, henceforth if your Spiritual father cannot rebuke you anymore, he has a right to cut off the tree.

Just like when Jesus came to the fig tree and He did not get any fruits. He cursed the tree and right there the tree withered. Henceforth your Spiritual father has the full right to curse you when you live unrighteously and by so doing he will be discontinuing a bad seed from you and from the generation that will come out of you.

[Mark 1:15]

The Kingdom of God is at hand, repent and change your inner self, your old way of thinking and regret past sin. Live your life in the way which proves your repentance, seek God’s purpose for life, and believe in the good news regarding salvation.

[Isaiah 44:3]

Streams on the dry ground, the minute a believer perceives that they are dry it should be evidence enough that they are dehydrated and there is nothing in them anymore.

[Matthew 4:1-4]

He became hungry and the tempter came to Him saying “If you are the Son of God, command that these stones turn into bread.”Remember that it is not a sin to be tempted, even Jesus was tempted, and yet He remained. He even rebuked the tempter with the Word.

[2 Corinthians 3:18]

Being transformed into His image, from one degree of Glory to even more Glory. Who is the Spirit, from this very second we are being transformed into His Glory and Image? The Word of God is indeed alive in us.

[Jeremiah 31:21]

The weary will be refreshed, instead, everyone will die from their sins. The days are coming declares the Lord, where the Lord will make a new covenant with the people of Israel, it won’t be like the covenant He made with the ancestors. This is a new covenant and to partake they have to repent. He will put His law in their mind and He will be their God and they shall be His people.

[John 14:16]

I will ask the Father, He will give you another advocate and He shall be with you forever. When we repent and do away with the old, we shall then receive a new advocate who will guide and correct us. The world cannot accept Him, but we know Him as He lives within us.
