YOU ARE A KING, YOU HAVE THE AUTHORITY TO DECLARE AND DECREE

LAY ASIDE EVERY WEIGHT – FOCUS ON THE CROSS~Part 1
May 31, 2022In our respective departments, we are serving God and others – anyone who serves a person is leading that soul. You are responsible for the soul of that individual. We will be accountable for the souls we serve. Therefore we must be careful with every soul, we lead and serve.
We live in the spiritual realm – curses and burdens are spiritual and cannot be seen with a naked eye. Whenever one is in ministry and does something wrong or sins against God there will be implications and one must be able to take accountability for the sake of the souls they lead. Hence the Bible says judgement must begin in the house of God (See 1 Peter 4:17).
For such reasons, when judgement takes place in the house of God there won’t be judgement in heaven for the same sin.
Mostly some conclude that they won’t be judged in heaven whilst there are acts which they never confessed about before the Church, for such reasons they will be judged in Heaven. Sexual sin is not ignorable before the eyes of God, it is a serious sin. We are all weak and not perfect, also the Holy Spirit is at our aid and continues to strengthen us against this sin.
Grace teaches us to say no to sin (See Titus 2:11-14) — the minute one looks at grace, you just recognise the ‘No’. Grace is associated with No, wherever it manifests there is a no. Hence we cannot speak about the grace of forgiveness and yet such grace does not teach us to say No.
If one proclaims that they are graced then such a person will know how to say no. Evidence that one is not forgiven is when one does not know how to say no.
Forgiveness is when you are given power over sin. Serving is a privilege and that is what we are called for. One thing about Christianity is that it is permanent and one cannot undress it or take a break. When Jesus instructed the disciples to go wait in Jerusalem to be clothed with the Holy Spirit, He never instructed them how long will the Holy Spirit be with them or how they can take it off, because the Holy Spirit is permanent.
One can’t revoke from serving or being a child of God. Hence the Bible says those who left were never with us from the beginning (See 1 John 2:19). After stopping to serve there is no going back to normality. One cannot revoke their rightful position to being normal or who one used to be. Similarly, there is no Saul without being a king, his existence ceases if he is not a king.
The first thing that mankind was given by God was not marriage but serving. He placed man in the garden to take care of (See Genesis 2:15). Serving in our respective departments is our gardens and people should be able to eat from us.
[John 15:16 ]
“You did not choose Me but I chose you and appointed you for the sake of bearing fruits”
Although we often concluded that we choose God unaware that we were led to choose Him as He chose us from the beginning. In us believing that is when we choose Him. We ought to bear fruits because for such we are chosen.
[Jeremiah 1:5]
We were chosen before we were even formed in our mother’s wombs, set apart, and appointed to serve Him. The appointment happens in the womb, similarly to Jeremiah his appointment for being a prophet happened in the womb. We were all born with a purpose.
Often, with some unborn babies, the devil can predict their future hence their upcoming were challenging because of what they carried. It is of paramount importance for us to serve as we were appointed to serve. We ought to live up to our calling and position, and by so doing we are preserving the image of Christ. This is a joint responsibility in the body of Christ, be Holy as He is.
[Hebrew 12:28]
Since we are receiving a Kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace. Meaning we ought to know how to say no to sin. The spiritual definition of Grace is ‘no’. By so doing we will be able to serve God acceptably, with reverence and godly fear. Teachings install godly fear and we have been taught. Godly fear kicks in outside the presence of your leaders, we ought to have fear as servants.
Godly fear produces acceptable serving. It is an error when feelings supersede godly fear in us. When one entertains the world it grows and matures in that individual abnormally. With regards to sexual sin, if one without spiritual or divine intervention can refrain from sexual intercourse and remain single then what more about believers with the aid of the Holy Spirit? We ought to serve God with reverence and fear, and also maintain the image of Christ.
In our conduct, we should think of the implications and the cost of one’s pleasure outside of marriage. Such pleasure comes at a huge price, not only to ourselves but to those who are led and ministered to by us. No one has the right to destroy a soul which they never died for, we cannot even die for ourselves yet we gamble with other souls. Salvation is a gift that we never earned nor worked for, yet we gamble with it.
Consequences are not instant but will be seen in the near future. You cannot solve a problem at the cost of the future, or by risking the future.
[Psalms 2:11 ]
Serve the Lord with fear and rejoice with trembling, there should always be conscience. Meaning in our rejoicing we should not lose our awareness or consciousness. We should watch and pray. There is a moment of insanity and with such one should be able to be conscious, the Holy Spirit should always be in charge.
Sex before marriage is a sin but it does not take marriage to conceive. Some of the things were birthed out when one started being intimate, like anger issues and so forth. Darkness will always take advantage of sex without marriage.
[Matthew 18:6 -9 ]
Anyone who causes these little ones to sin, it would be better for him to have a milestone around their neck and thrown into the river. What God is saying is that it is better for such a person to die. The issue of servants is ministering to many and also partaking in sex before marriage was started by someone and it was transferred to this generation. However, this generation should put such to an end. End this cycle.
Fornication is a product of sexual immorality, confession is what breaks the seed that was planted. The book of James encourages one to confess before the Church and ask for forgiveness, such an act is required because when one sins it affects the body of Christ.
Many when they sin, the Bible says it is as though they are crucifying Jesus again, however, Jesus can resurrect. But what about those who stumbled due to your misconduct, will they be able to stand? Deliverance does not set one free, but confession and the truth are what will set one free.
[Romans 14:10-16]
Often this scripture is quoted to cast out demons, however, this is addressing all of us. We shall all appear before the Lord and we shall be judged, yet there is a serious mystery about confession in this scripture.
(Verse 12) Each of us shall give an account before God, yet we should not judge one another.
Meaning we are all seated in the judgement seat, every knee shall bow and confess before the seat of judgement. All can be resolved only through confessions, yet there won’t be any resolution without confession. We must not cause a stumbling block to fall in our brother’s way. We ought not to judge our fellow brethren but rather resolve. Repentance should result in forgiveness and not condemnation, hence we should not find ourselves judging the other.
(Verse 13) Rather let us resolve one another’s problems, we have the solution. Failure to resolve the matter at hand means we are not setting the one who confessed free. Note that not all confessions are repentance, if the one who confessed is not remorseful then it is not repentance. After confession one’s conscience must change.
The Holy Spirit convicts our sins, there are things that we never regarded as wrong yet when conviction takes charge we now see the difference. We need to be convicted and live in the truth. Often the church becomes a stumbling block to many people after their confession, we should become a solution and help. Forgiveness can never be robbed, forgiveness will only take place when one repents and changes their ways.
[Hebrews 13:17]
We are in the business of souls, this is the main purpose. The main business of the Church is not the building or other things, but the main purpose is winning and feeding souls. We will have to account for every soul we minister to, hence we should not take our serving lightly. Similarly, Pilate won’t be judged the same way as Judas.
[1 Peter 5:1-4]
Always be an example to those you are leading, they should aspire to be like you. May God trust us with such, to lead people to Him.
[James 3:1]
Do not just be teachers, knowing that we will receive a stricter judgment. It might take a small thing to lead a sheep, hence a teacher must be very careful. A student will also become a teacher at one point, they will also receive stricter judgment for what they taught the sheep.
[1 John 2:27]
The anointing you have received will teach you all truth. Such anointing you have received, any anointing which does not have the voice of God will never teach you. There is an anointing as a gift to aid you in the ministry but there is also the anointing you received by the Holy Spirit. The anointing being the Holy Spirit teaches. We are continually being taught by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is our helper (See John 14:16)
There is no moment of loneliness with the Holy Spirit, feeling lonely is sinning against the Holy Spirit. This anointing must overshadow us, this is not covering. However this means one will have intimacy with the Holy Spirit, it must teach you and you must become one with the Holy Spirit which is intimacy. The Holy Spirit you have received will be able to say no on your behalf.
