IT IS TIME FOR NEW BIRTH IN THE BODY OF CHRIST
August 16, 2022
DELIGHT IN THE WORD OF GOD
August 19, 2022[John 3:7-8]
A man who is born of the Spirit can never be predicted. The wind blows on every side. When you become born again, you are from above. (Verse 8) The wind when it blows pulls many things and takes them in different directions. Those who are born of the Spirit are like the wind, you don’t know where they come from or where they are going.
We are from above. There’s a place where the wind blows. The wind blows on Earth and not in space. In space, there is no storm or wind. Where we are there is no storm. Since we are sheep sent amongst the wolves, we go to a place where there is wind. And as the wind blows, so are we. When the wind blows, the Spirit knows where it comes from.
When the wind blows on Earth, there’s dust. What you are born of will determine where you will go after the wind has settled. If you are born of the dust and there’s a storm, after the storm, you will go back to the ground.
After the storm there are no lies; you will show where you belong. The storm makes us all equal; the ones who are from above and the ones who are from below seem equal. This anointing will not be affected by dust(flesh). Those who are born of water are like the wind. They are in the air and when there’s a storm it picks up the dust. It seems like the dust is where the anointing (Spirit) is, but after the storm, we will see where it goes – dust goes back to where it belongs. Every storm will cause things to arise. After, all it goes back to where it belongs. We carry the anointing that cannot be defeated by dust.
[Genesis 3: 18-19]
When you are born of dust you will go back to the dust. The storm reveals what you are made of. When your identity seems of that we cannot see, the storm will reveal. The storm reveals your identity. You will sweat and toil all your life. You can’t be taken from above and taken to the ground. If you were taken from below, after the storm we will see where you are going. When the storm goes down, dust goes where it belongs. After the crucifixion, many realized that Jesus is born from above. After the resurrection the storm was no longer there, now people realized that indeed He is the Messiah. Within the storm, it is easy to be influenced and manipulated. Wait until the storm goes down.
The purpose of the storm is for you to sleep and not go around worried. (Matthew 8). It is not for you to stop the storm for that is when it worsens. Jesus did not address the storm with strength or might but He addressed that with peace. This was a storm and not a demon. So it needed peace.
I am talking about the storm in your hearts. Many find that peace is not in their hearts. Peace must reign. The existence of peace is not dependent on the storm. The evidence of the storm does not say that peace is not there.
There might be a storm yet peace is there. Peace dwells in the storm. The safest place to be when there’s a tornado is inside. Be inside the storm so you can rest. There are different storms you go through. Sometimes storms happen at the same time. Therefore be in the midst of the storm with peace. When there is a storm, we all see (Spirit and dust) equal. We make judgements while in the storm. Let the storm calm down and you will know that this is from God or what.
[Ecclesiastes 3: 20-21]
What is of dust returns to dust. Genesis, speaks about being born of dust – and to dust, you shall go back. The book of John, speaks of a man who is born of Spirit and water; it says that he is like a wind for no one knows where he comes from. No one knows where the wind goes but dust blows along with it. Your hard times are not there to destroy you.
The present sufferings we are facing are nothing compared to the glory that shall be revealed. The sufferings are of Christ, but what we go through is a sign confirming the sufferings we went through. If you lose a job it is not sufferings. There is a sign that testifies to what you have received. Abraham received righteousness first before circumcision. Circumcision is a sign of the righteousness he received, it testified. Some circumcise without righteousness. People losing their jobs take it as though they are sufferings of Christ. When you receive Christ, you receive the sufferings of Christ. You are taking up your cross. What you go through is a sign of testifying about the sufferings of Christ.
[1 Peter 4: 12-17]
Rejoice because you partake in Christ’s sufferings. When there are sufferings to partake in, many run away yet want to partake in the glory. You can’t stop the sufferings. When God puts you in the tornado you cannot stop it. Jesus was able to calm the storm while in the boat yet not when He was at the cross. He said, “peace be still”, but He encountered the storm on the cross. He had to partake in it and now share in the glory. At the time of sufferings, you do not see the glory. Some people suffer because of their own things. You must suffer for Christ’s sake.
You are sick because you are in Christ. This is not by your actions but it is a storm for the name of the Lord. Jesus is blasphemed but in your part, He is not. Some can’t discern and see God. There’s no shame in suffering as a Christian for it is the Will. Jesus walked to the mountain with that cross without shame for He knew that it is what God is taking Him through. The Father wounds the son not because He does not love him. Do not be ashamed because God is doing something. Judgement has begun in the house of God.
It has begun with us. People think judgement is when you are guilty. God judges with a sword. The Word of God is sharper than any double-edged sword. Do not look at the process of the sword. It separates dust from oil – Spirit from the flesh. To clean or remove dust from oil is not easy. When you clean it you lose some oil. What will be the end of those who reject this judgement? What is from below must remain there. However, it can go up when the wind blows. Man was not made from the soil but dust. Dust is easily carried by the wind. Dust troubles many for when the wind blows, dust goes up.
You are born from above. When you are in trouble, usually the old man wants to come back. When you are challenged the one you were before arises. The only way to deal with the old person is with the sword, for it can bring separation. When you allow the sword to judge, you will be separated from the old person. When you run away from the message, there is no peace. Allow the sword to bring judgement so you can move on.
[Nahum 1: 3]
If you are in the house and you do not accept the judgement, there’s no way the guilt will be cleared. There’s no way you can run away from the judgement of the Lord. You can’t separate what you are going through from being judged. The Lord is slow to anger. You must remain in the tornado and become the focal point. in that, you are bringing yourself to be judged.
[Matthew 8: 23-25]
When you are in the midst of the storm, you become the focal point and you have peace. When will we grow so that we are not afraid of the storm? You allow the sword and the Word to deal with you. Rest in the sufferings of Christ and allow judgement to take place. There can never be judgement unless you rest your case. In the midst of the storm, rest your case. Meaning you will not complain or defend or fight. When you allow judgement to take place, then there’s progress.
To God be the glory!
