THE CROSS IS OUR TRUE SUFFERINGS-Part 1

The bible says “what is the use of man gaining everything in this world and yet losing his soul?” Since man existed has there been any man who has gained everything? No! You can have money and lack something. No man has everything. Imagine having everything all the riches of this world, owning everything.

God says a man gaining everything meaning if a man has everything in the whole world, his soul will still be useless. All the treasures and all things that man wants are not equivalent to a soul. You can never compare a soul to your car, job, career, and family. Just one soul combining all things in the whole world is still not equivalent.

How many people lost their souls because of certain things? Some lost their souls because of a job, family, or money. God is saying all these things are still not equivalent to your soul God did not combine all souls but just one soul. Never make a mistake and lose what is precious because of something far less than your soul.

You are very highly esteemed by God when He looks at you, He would choose your soul, not the world. When it says “for God so loved the world” that world was not the world that we know it is souls. Jesus died for souls not cars and houses. Remain young let your soul remain young, do not get weary.

When the bible in Isaiah says “even the young get weary” when they get tired it’s not when they start to walk slowly and bend their back. There are many Christians who look fine and perfect physically but their souls and spirit are weary. Do not be in that state of weariness where you are tired, always trust in the Lord.

Trusting in the Lord is being in a position of always being rejuvenated, restored, and given strength. Strength is not given only when you have it. The sign that you have strength is not being able to pray. The bible says “let the weak say I am strong” not let the weak feel strong or be strong. Your strength starts with what you say and what you believe in.

You can pray for 6 hours yet you are weary because you lack trust. You must have trust in the Lord to keep on going. Some want immortality to be forever young. Receive your youth by trusting in the Lord. It’s not a matter of age when they say it’s youth day, we are going to celebrate the right struggle.

Not having money is not the struggle but it is the struggle of the cross. As we are celebrating youth day it’s for everyone. You are mounting up high as eagles, you are new creatures. Your struggle is not the difficulties you are going through. The struggle was 2000 years ago when Jesus Christ died on the cross.

[John 16:20- 23]

The struggle doesn’t end when you are blessed. Your joy shouldn’t depend on what is added. The bible says “seek the kingdom of God” depends on the kingdom and all things shall be added. Your joy doesn’t come because of what is added but because you have the kingdom.

Romans 8 says “Your present sufferings” is not your lack of bread or money but the remembrance of the Lord. Jesus said take this and eat in My remembrance. Whenever you eat the bread and the blood you remember His death which is the present sufferings.

2 Corinthians 4 says the death of the Lord Jesus Christ is in us, meaning when you close your eyes and meditate about the sufferings that He endured while He was carrying the cross. People think glory has come when they receive a car, house, etc that’s another kind of glory but not the Shekinah glory. The glory in the garden (Eden) it’s not dependent on things that are added.

There are different kinds of glory. Even someone who is not born again when receives a car glory is produced. The glory that unbelievers can’t produce is the glory from the cross. Don’t look at what you don’t have as suffering. The Shekinah glory that is in the garden of Eden has sufferings.

If we want to produce the Shekinah glory, we have to put on the sufferings of Christ. The banner is raised so that the glory of resurrection can be raised. The glory of the kingdom that is produced by the cross. There is one thing that an unbeliever can never do is to carry the cross.

When you have a need and it is not supplied that is poverty. Blessed is the poor because they have a need, they seek the Lord. Blessed are those who thirst and hunger for the Lord. The sufferings you are going through of lack are not sufficient to produce the glory that He is speaking about in Romans 8.

If we want to produce real glory, we need to take the sufferings of Christ and put them upon ourselves, and we will produce genuine glory that doesn’t fade away. The banner is raised so that the glory that is brought by resurrection may manifest in our lives. If this glory is not of resurrection, it’s the glory that fades.

The glory of the kingdom is produced by the cross, not our sufferings. When the bible says blessed are the poor, they are poor because they have a need but it’s not a need for a car, house, etc but to seek the Lord. It is possible to have Christ and still need Him. Let there be that need in you. The more you need Him, the more He supplies and pours Himself.

When Jesus looks at you, He must forget the pain. The bible says he who sins again crucifies Jesus, you make Jesus remember the pain. As Christians, we must remember how Jesus died for us, yet Jesus mustn’t remember the pain when He looks at us, He should be so proud.

Consider everything you have as borrowed it is rubbish because is borrowed. Jesus has made you His own. Can you exchange what you are borrowed for what is permanently yours? No, but many do that because they think they own yet they are borrowed. The treasures that you have is borrowed and when it’s taken away you won’t cry, and your joy won’t be taken away.

Today if the Lord takes what you love dearly will that joy still be there? Never allow anything to make you happy but let it be only Jesus Christ. What is it that brings joy to you? If it is not Christ then that thing has taken the throne of our Lord Jesus Christ.

(Verse 23) What will bring joy to you is resurrection. Jesus suffered but the minute He resurrected we were happy. There is the day of the Lord which is of His death and the day of the Lord which is of His resurrection. The day of His death needed to end so we can enter a new day. On that day you will not ask Me anything meaning you will not lack but whatever you ask in My Father’s name He will give you.

The gift that the Father gave us is His Son. The only prayer that the Father expects from you is “Lord Jesus I am hungry for You, I am thirsty for You”

Don’t defile your secret place with your earthly needs. In the holy of holies consecrated holy vessels will enter not any cup will be used in the holy of holies. Is your earthly need consecrated? Do not enter with what will defile the presence of God (The secret room). Long for Jesus and see how God will add to your life.

Seek the Lord, the kingdom, and see things being added. Trust the Lord and He will take care of you. Live to have a relationship with Jesus Christ eternally and let all things be added to your life. Those who trust in the Lord will never get weary. People are weary because they have a lot in mind.

[Romans 8:18-19]

The sufferings of this present time let it be what you lack earthly. Today as a church I want us to be common we must all be poor yet rich. The unity in the church must begin in our needs not needs and that need is the Lord Jesus Christ. The minute all of us are hungry and seeking Jesus we have one need and one mind that is our sufferings.

That need of Christ Jesus being crucified and taken away from us is nothing worth compared with the glory that shall be revealed in us. The glory is revealed in us not out of you. Every time we are pushed taken through the trailing times it’s so that the illuminating light in us may shine. Because there is glory in us, and that glory is of resurrection.

Sons are not revealed when they become millionaires, buy houses, get married, etc. Sons are not revealed when their earthly needs are met. They are revealed when the resurrection power is manifested in us. Paul says “I want to know His resurrection power” we must have the resurrection power manifesting in us.

That’s when creation will know that we are sons. Creation doesn’t define us by our earthly needs which are met but defines us by the need that is met which is a need for Christ. Even creation wants to be delivered it’s waiting for sons. Glory has not been produced unless the glory of His resurrection is the one manifesting in us.

[1 Peter 5:9-11]

We must know that our brothers are also suffering as we are suffering. My earthly needs are not your earthly needs. Our sufferings can never be the same. How do our sufferings become the same? When we look at Jesus being crucified, then our needs and troubles become the same. How have you suffered for a while? You have suffered for three days when crucified with Jesus Christ.

We are called into eternal glory, not into the glory that fades away. The only thing that can produce eternal glory is resurrection. We carry the death of our Lord Jesus Christ, not our troubles. Jesus said, “let those who are heavy burdened come to Me”. We did not leave our burdens to pick them up again but to pick up the burden of Christ which is the cross, yet His burden is an easy one.

Look at your earthly needs as nothing. What troubles the world see it as nothing. Look at the death of Jesus and see yourself there be in that sorrow. Do not worry but meditate. We went to the cross to put down our burdens so that we can pick up the cross and follow. Hold the cross that’s your sufferings. Walk with Christ and produce eternal glory.

The kingdom is bigger than what we testify about, our greatest testimony is His resurrection.
