THE CROSS IS OUR TRUE SUFFERINGS-Part 2

[Romans 8:16-17]

One needs to suffer with Christ. If you do not suffer with Him, you cannot enjoy the glory that is to come. We need to suffer with Him for us to be partakers of His glory. Many want to be partakers of His glory but they don’t want to suffer with Him. To be Glorified with Him, we must suffer with Him.

When we speak about suffering we are referring to His death, the persecutions, the beatings, and rejections. However, all these things happened to Jesus and not to us. While Jesus was at the table with the disciples, He took bread, gave thanks, broke it, and gave it to His disciples, saying, “Take and eat; this is my body” (See Matthew 26:26).

At that time Jesus was not dead yet, however for Him to have a body that is broken while He was still with them, it was not Jesus, but it was Christ that had to enter the day. On the day there is crucifixion, beatings, rejections, and persecutions. 

[Matthew 6:5-11]

(Verse 5) There is a reward that needs to be received but hypocrites already have that reward. They received their reward by praying in public and such rewards are in public as their act. The Father sees in the secret place and not in the room. When you pray go into your heart and shut the door so that nothing else can enter. When you are in the heart, God will see you in the secret place.

The secret place is in your heart. Jesus did not set us free to be free, but He set us free to be bound. Although we are free yet again we are prisoners of Christ. You are being released from the evil spirit only for the Spirit of God to possess you. The world is stressed when they do not have money because that is their suffering, but our sufferings are of the Lord Jesus Christ.

God has come down and His tabernacle has come upon us. Your heart is the Holy of Holies. To find the secret place you need to go into your heart. Solomon asked God to honor the promise He made to David, that although God does not dwell in the temple made by the hands of men and it means that even the heavens cannot contain Him. Many think that when it speaks about containment it speaks about space, but it is referring to the secret place.

Anyone can enter Heaven but God dwells in a secret place. Heaven is His office and not His dwelling place. When it says that Heaven is My throne it means it is His office and He does not sleep or dwell in His office, but a King has His own bedroom. Even God came down to a temple, it was not His fullness, but it was part of Him.

We have been seeking things but not His glory. That is why the world is dying because we do not seek His glory, but we seek things. When we enter the Holy of Holies, we seek earthly things. If the church keeps on praying for cars, and material things we have missed it. The real prayer in the secret is the prayer of the Spirit. The prayer of material things will not bring glory, it does not bring Glory.

The church needs Shekinah Glory and not material things. The Glory is a sign of revival. However, the church has lost its Glory. We can see people are prosperous in the church but there is no Glory. Someone needs to enter the secret place and get rewarded with the Glory and the promise was the Glory. The Glory is not made up for the Heavens, but it is meant for the earth. Earth needs to be filled with Glory.

Testimonies of people thanking God for material things are not true testimony. The church needs to go back to the real testimony which is the Glory. The most powerful thing that happened about Jesus Christ was not resurrection or His death but the Glory. Your soul is eternal, so your resurrection is for your body and not for your soul. Anything that benefits the flesh does not bring Glory.

Go into your room [your flesh, heart], the minute Jesus enters close the door. Your heart has a door, enter and when you enter into your heart there is someone who dwells there, but this person is not in your room, He is in the secret place. The secret place is in your room [your heart]. Do not pray in your mind or heart but pray in the secret place.

No matter how much you may pray, as long as your prayer is in the room the Father will not see it because He sees in the secret place. In the secret place, there is no repetition of prayers because it is the Spirit praying on our behalf.

(Verse 10) We see the relocation of the Father, at first, the Father is in heaven, and now it says that the Kingdom come, there is no way the Kingdom can come without the King. Let the Kingdom leave heaven and come. Heaven and Kingdom are not one thing. The Kingdom is not tangible, as the Son is here the Kingdom is here.

This is the Kingdom that can be anywhere while other kingdoms are dependent on a place. The Kingdom will be in any place and it now needs to leave heaven and come here. The Lord’s place was all about relocation. There is a secret place which is a Kingdom. When they say teach us how to pray it means that they do not know the secret place, but Jesus was explaining the Kingdom.

(Verse 11) The Day is a Kingdom and it is not Monday or Tuesday etc, but a Day is the Kingdom. When it says give us this Day it means give us this Kingdom. The daily bread, which is the Kingdom, is the secret place it is where we should pray. When the Kingdom(the Day) comes to you, do not harden your heart, the Day still stands.

People are waiting for the Day of the Lord, but the Bible says that the Day still stands. He is speaking about one Day which is Him. The Day that still stands is the secret room, the Kingdom.

[Romans 8:18-20]

The present time is still relevant to us because the Day still stands. There are sufferings which are in the present time. The suffering is not what you have lost, the pain you have felt or went through because those are the sufferings of this world. (Verse 18)”Therefore we consider these sufferings nothing as compared to the Glory that is to come”

One thing about the secret place is that when we see Jesus Christ being crucified each time, our prayer changes from tongues to groanings.

[2 Corinthians 4:1-5]

You carry the death of the Lord Jesus Christ. The truth of the matter is that we are struck down not by material things, but our striking down is the sufferings of the Lord Jesus Christ. Paul comes after Jesus was taken but Paul knows the crucifixion of the Lord of Jesus Christ. He was taken to the Day.

We need to be taken to the Day. We do not need one’s stripes or wounds, but we need the stripes of Lord Jesus Christ. We have become one with our circumstances because we say that it is our sufferings, but that is not our sufferings.

We need to tap into the sufferings of the Lord Jesus and those sufferings are in the secret place. Today I am calling you to come into the secret place. You have been praying but you have been bringing your own troubles. Leave your room and enter into the secret place and in the secret place what you have been going through matters not. No matter how much you may be struggling it can never bring the fire down.

The only prayer that God can hear is the one that is in the secret room and not about your troubles. We do not need to add things but to focus on seeking the Kingdom. Never defile the secret place, when you enter the secret place let it be about you and Christ. The secret is that you need to be in the secret place and when you are in there let it be about you and God.

The problem is that ministers enter into the secret place not with the lamb but with people’s troubles. Your troubles and burdens are not supposed to enter the secret place of God. The church needs to go back to the Glory. People are stuck on the 6th day. They cannot enter into the 7th Day because the 7th day is the Day of the Lord.

The Israelites entered Canaan, but they never rested because they entered it physically and not by faith(See Joshua 1). There is a place which is the Day of the Lord that we need to enter into, and that place is the secret place. In that place, we find Jesus Christ crucified and we partake in His sufferings.

[Revelation 4:1-5]

Go to heaven you will not find us there we are somewhere. Heaven is not our destination because even in Heaven one still needs to enter the Day. The voice calls John who is in Heaven that “come up here”. John goes into the Day in the secret place and He began to see.

[Revelation 5:1]

This is another throne, but this throne is not in Heaven but the secret room. John saw a house and there was a door open in the house and he is outside which is earth when he enters he finds himself in a room. In the room, he was in Heaven, and he saw another door where the voice spoke and he went through the door and entered the bedroom of God.

Before you can enter the bedroom, you have to go somewhere. In Heaven we are just passing through, then we enter into the Holy of Holies with the lamb and not our troubles.
