SECOND IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM THE LORD TO THE BODY OF CHRIST-Part 1
October 13, 2021
[Ephesians 1: 10-14]
We must be careful when we celebrate heritage because it comes with an inheritance. It is not heritage without inheritance. You must be careful when you celebrate a culture which you do not know the inheritance it comes with. I am Venda, but since I do not know the inheritance of it, I refrain and do not partake. Many have celebrated heritage but are not aware they have invited the inheritance that comes with that particular culture.
Why are most Zulu people taxi drivers and owners? Culture comes with its inheritance. Also, most of them end up becoming violent – most Zulu men are full of anger. When it comes to Tswana women, they are known to love money and can be with multiple partners at the same time. Yet it’s not all of them who are like that. Ndebele men are also known to like to gossip. Every heritage comes with inheritance.
We have become the heritage of God and have received the inheritance. Be careful that you do not inherit what is not necessary.
God did family planning and ensured that His kids will have all that they desire. There is an inheritance and it is for those who are ordained and chosen. There is an inheritance for us and there is a heritage that we don’t need to ignore. This heritage combines all the diversity in the world. We all eat from the same table because God ordained us and gave us a heritage. This is a way of doing things. There is a culture in 2021 that is fading away in the world. In as much as it is fading, it is like that even with the culture of Christians.
People are not just losing the heritage that was there but also in Christ there is one that has been lost. Christians are forgetting their identity yet still want the inheritance. There is a way of life and how we do things. We have the culture of the Spirit. If you find yourself battling with something, there is persistence, endurance, and long-suffering. Sometimes you would force things that are not to be in the Will. What we must receive must not be new but what God has already predestined. That is what we need to walk with.
When you live your life, there must be praise in it. If it is not there then you lack the heritage of Christ. The devil is not the threat to God but the biggest enemy to God is you. Hence God says that if you want to follow Him, pick up your cross and follow. The devil we fight has the door to enter and one person can allow him in. A Christian who has fully died to self does not live on attacks or temptations but is tested. One thing I know about temptation is that it must cease. Temptations will come, but there is where they must cease when one matures. Eventually, a dying body dies. When we are in the process of dying we need to fully die with no trace of self.
The Holy Spirit is the seal. That Spirit is our inheritance. On heritage day, many wear their culture yet the Holy Spirit is our seal, the guarantee of our inheritance. Many are no longer clothed with the Holy Spirit but are claiming to be Christians. As the world changed so was it with Christians. They no longer have the Holy Spirit as the guarantee of their inheritance. They fail to receive their inheritance because they are still under trustees and are naked and not clothed with the Holy Spirit. Hence Jesus said to them that they must wait in Jerusalem until they are clothed with power. As they waited they received the Holy Spirit who is the guarantee.
Where is your garment? Wherever you go people must see your garment. They must see the Holy Spirit who is the guarantee of your inheritance. There is no way you can enter and expect to receive your inheritance without the Holy Spirit who is the guarantee. That is the garment you need to be wearing so that even in the Spirit they can know that you are a child of God. Those who were chosen before were given a garment. Just like the prodigal son, when he came back the father did not just give him a ring, he also gave him a garment.
Now, that garment identifies where he belongs. Without the Holy Spirit, you can never partake from the inheritance. This is how this Will works. What are you clothed with? So when it is complete, it means we have not received the whole inheritance. The more we live and we are clothed by the Holy Spirit, the more complete inheritance is revealed to us and we experience it.
[Psalms 2: 7-8]
We do not belong to the world, but the world belongs to us. So, the minute you go to the world you put yourself into the world. You have placed yourself under the control of what belongs to you. It says today I have begotten you as My son. So when you are a son, the whole world belongs to you. Ask of Me, and not the world or nations. So ask of the Lord. Seek the Lord, and as you seek the Lord, what will happen? And I will give you the nations. I will give you the nations as your inheritance. So what was celebrated belongs to us. So many people robbed themselves by bringing themselves to the nation and they end up belonging to that nation, while the nation belongs to them.
God says you are My son – these are the chosen [predestined], those who are part of the family planning. So I am saying, you are not a mistake. You are planned and were predestined. You were predestined as a son.
So everything that is in the world belongs to the Lord. And the Lord says, if we seek Him, looking for Him – it is the same as seeking the Kingdom of God and all things shall be added. Yet now there is a twin scripture for it, telling you that when you seek God when you seek the Kingdom, ask of Him, and when your heart is after Him and you love Him; all these things will be added in Him. So you become a partaker of inheritance when you are looking at Him and not when you are looking at these other things.
Your heart needs to cry out for Him. We always sing out that our spirit yearns for the Lord yet how did we lose the inheritance and the heritage? The problem is that people entered the Church seeking things other than Him. People are hungry for something in the Church. They are looking for something that the Church brings rather than seeking Him. God says ask for Me, look for Me and enter into the Church and go to the altar looking for Me. Do not bring prophetic offering because you want a job or car. Seek the Lord and seek to establish a relationship with Him. To some of you, what is more, important for you is what you attain and what you have. It is more important than the relationship that you have with God. Now when things would go wrong, you can measure your relationship with God based on those things.
Some people regard the presence of God as what they have been blessed with, or what has been added with. This shows that they have not been seeking the Kingdom because you find the Kingdom without the addition. And the addition comes after when you have found it. But when you find the Kingdom with the addition, then when the addition is not there, you will feel like the presence is no longer there. Should everything be taken away, you will feel like the presence is no longer there. You will feel like God is not walking with you.
There is a state that a Christian enters in, that any other normal person feels like it’s a curse or bad luck but a Christian knows that he’s with God. When you don’t reach that stage, you must know that you are seeking other things. So now He says, ask for Me, want Me and when you want Me, you shall inherit. The reason why are we still not seeing or having everything is that there are still some things that we are seeking. These things are not added to us. So seek Him and when you seek Him, you shall find Him. The door will be opened to you and when you enter, you will see Him. So stop knocking, and expecting to enter and find marriage and cars.
Anointing is also an element, it’s not Him hence He is called an anointed One. It also means He is anointed. So you can have Him and still not be anointed. That is why He is called the anointed One, something that I have put on not who I am – something that has been placed upon Me. I have become the anointed One, but besides that, I Am. So that is why in the beginning was the Word and not the anointed One. The Word was with Him and He was the Word, not the anointed One. Anointing is for function. He was not anointed to say, ‘let there be’ but it is who He is; He spoke. So the anointing is for functioning and position.
I’m going deeper because when you come and say I am anointed, they think that is the ultimate but it is not. He was not anointed to become the Creator but was anointed to become your Saviour. He was anointed to save you and to heal you but He was not anointed to become a Creator. He is a Creator without the anointing. So when He created, it was not His function or position, but who He is.
When we are talking about the anointing, there was a difference between Saul and Paul. There is a difference between Saul in the Old Testament and Paul in the New Testament. The difference is that the other one is anointed and the other is a son. To the one who is anointed, do not touch the anointed.
So do not touch what belongs to Me. I am protecting this as mine, but when Paul encountered God, he says, why are you persecuting Me? Not why are you touching My anointed? So there was a difference after the resurrection. They were not the anointed. He went to the cross anointed but He resurrects as Christ. He was anointed to come down, but not anointed to go up there. He is anointed to come down on earth. He is anointed to be crucified, but He is not anointed to become one with God. So after the resurrection, He is not the anointed. Before the resurrection, He is anointed but after, He is as He is – The ‘I AM’ has sent you. I AM has sent Me before Abraham. I am not anointed.
So there is the anointed One who is anointed for a function and when that function is done then there is no work that is left to do.
We do not need Jesus for He saved us. We do not need the crucifixion now because it’s already in us. It has manifested as life.
I was preaching in church and I said that faith is not perfection, but believe is perfection. Faith has a beginning and an end. When it ends, believe is the eternal one. So faith has where it must operate and work. Jesus comes and says that ‘I am the author and the finisher of faith’. So there is where faith must end. I walked on earth with faith, but when I resurrect, it’s not faith that operates. So the anointed is faith. There anointed is function. After it is the function, it becomes Him. So that is why when He wants us to become, He does not say we must become like Jesus but Christ [the resurrected One] not the dying One.
We must reach the full stature of the resurrected One because that is perfection.
We do not know what we will become, but when He appears, we shall be like Him. We do not know what we will become, you know why? Because we are Jesus. So Jesus does not know what He will become. After the cross (after the resurrection), that is when He knows who He is. That is when He knows who He is. So, He knows Himself. There is a function of what you have been sent to do, but when the work is complete, there is no need for you. You will sit at the centre as though you have been slain. So those who have not yet attained or partook from the cross will come and be washed. After the washing, after the crucifixion, and after we have accepted His death, what must happen? Life begins after salvation.
Jesus died so that we may receive salvation. We must become. We must be as He is – Christ our inheritance. This is something that is eternal and does not fade away. So everything must cease but these three shall remain: love, faith, and hope. Among them the greatest is love. So love is Christ. For God so loved the world before Jesus was there, that He gave. What is given is faith and hope. Now, I will not give him work either. So, love gave birth to faith and hope but faith and hope were given a job to function until they cease and draw you to love. So, God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son (faith and hope).
These three shall remain but the greatest among them is love. Now we see in the mirror because we see Jesus. When we see perfection, we will see Christ. Jesus walked without perfection. How do we know this? The Bible says He was weak as we are, and was tested in all instances. If He was weak then He was not perfect. He attained perfection after the resurrection when there was no weakness.
When we become as He is there is no longer weakness. Remember, I taught you and said that there is a Holy ground. There is where it is beyond the Holy ground. Moses went to the tree and saw the tree burning and came closer then God says he must not come any closer for the ground he is standing on is a Holy ground.
You can enter the Holy Ground with your shoes. You can be anointed with self. The anointed still fall because they are still wearing their sandals. They are in the holy ground but it is temporary. So take off your shoes and come where the burning bush is.
So do not come near with your shoes for they will be burnt. When you reach the burning bush, the burning bush is the consuming fire, He will consume anything that is not. So, the shoes are what you are given, they are temporary, they will wear off. So do not come near with them, but where you are standing is a holy ground. Already you have stepped on that ground with the very same shoes. Many, when they are in the holy ground, they think they have made it. Well, many when they have faith, they think they have made it. We need to pierce through beyond where there is belief because believe is reality and not hope. Belief is what is before you.
[Hebrews 11: 1]
“Now faith is the assurance (title deed, confirmation) of things hoped for, and evidence of things not seen”.
The title deed is not the house. You can have a title deed, but not live in the house. How many people have title deeds but are not living in the house because it is an illegal occupation? What is the house if faith is a title deed? Where is the house? So someone needs to attain the house and stop walking around with the title deed. We can see that the house is under your name, but now it’s time, you have the inheritance because the inheritance is eternal. The title deed can never be your roof. It can still rain whilst you have a title deed.
It does not mean in the office when they have your title deed, they can see your house. When you look at the documents it is the hope of things unseen. You can have faith but yet you are not there in the Kingdom. You can have faith but you are not living with the Father. You can have faith but yet you’re not sitting with Him in the right hand. The minute you move from faith to believe now, you are now seated with Him at the right hand. We no longer have a title deed, but we are in the house. So this is our inheritance. Faith and hope have a weakness, which is fulfillment. The minute there is fulfillment, it fades away. You can sit with belief before your reality. The minute you have faith and it becomes fulfilled then there won’t be faith.
In the weakness of faith, belief matures for believing is reality. Hence Jesus says when you believe the rivers of life shall flow. They will flow out of you. It’s not faith as a substance of things we hope for. Now they will flow as the Father has settled in you. You are no longer looking for something that you hope for, but it is in you.
Happy Heritage day. Hear what I’m saying, this is our inheritance. Someone must move from Jesus to Christ. Someone must move from crucifixion to resurrection. Paul says, “I pray that I may know the resurrection power”. It is easy to know the power of crucifixion. It is easy to know the power of His death. That is why there are people who still confess ‘we are going to die’, ‘we are going go to heaven’ because they do not know anything about His resurrection. They do not know the power of resurrection. You know the power of the resurrection because the Spirit that raised Him from the dead lives in you and shall quicken your mortal body.
So, when you know the power of resurrection, you will know immortality. Yet when you know the power of dying, you will expect resurrection. We are not expecting resurrection. We know it has occurred. We know that Jesus has been raised from the dead. Now we are expecting immortality after the resurrection. So many people are still expecting resurrection but Jesus Christ has resurrected already. Since He died with us, He is raised together with us.
Do not be like Lazarus who resurrected yet still died. Jesus preached immortality a long time ago. What will it profit you if this man lives until I come back? He told them what will it profit them but they failed to hear that. This man can be immortal now and he lives today. We should be seeing him walking around preaching and telling us that he was working with Jesus, but they failed to attain it. People know the power of His death, but not the power of His resurrection. People are not maturing so that they can get the inheritance. There is inheritance. That’s what you must attain.
[1 Peter 1:3-5]
Many still see it in the death. After we have received it, the mystery becomes revealed. We then start to realise that we need to partake just as Paul prayed that he may know Him and His power of resurrection. We celebrate heritage day yet it is not heritage day if it is without the inheritance. There is a generation that will not pass on but will have their own culture and heritage. That heritage will not include burying people but living. Listen, it’s not Heritage day if we do not inherit immortality. It’s not Heritage day if we do not inherit the full stature of Christ, perfection in immortality. The way death is implanted, people have gotten used to it. When there is death, people are quick to respond.
If one can be hit by a car then he dies, I am telling you on Saturday, even though his family didn’t have a funeral policy, they would have spent a minimum of R50 000. They would have used that money to bury him. He would be escorted by luxurious cars and most assuredly every person is going to eat. Yet if now can come and say that he wants to get married next year in January, they would not help him out in terms of money. He will be on his own, but for his burial, he doesn’t even have to be alive. The death that we do not want, we glorify it so much. People give when there is death.
Come on, we need to go out and live accordingly. I said something in the beginning; I said our inheritance goes with heritage. We are the heritage of God, the way we live. There’s a way of life when we speak about our heritage. There is a way of living. So now, if our inheritance is immortality, there’s a heritage that we need to live by. You can pay R500 or R300 every month to bury someone until he grows up. There are things we need to pray against.
If we have to break generational curses, it starts with how we were raised. Before we could even walk, our parents were planning for our death. They prepared for our death and even paid for our insurances. They paid so they can bury us, but they never paid for us to live.
We have been confessing death all along in our lives. If there’s a generational curse that we need to break, it is the one that our parents did. Not to say that they did those things not out of love, let me be clear. It’s not that your parents wanted you to die. They did it out of love, without knowing or thinking that is the best thing. I am saying let us open each other’s eyes. We are not going to plan for a dead man. The greatest gift that you can give to your children is that when they get married, you cover the costs. Let us change this thing. They take what is godly and apply it in the darkness. Giving is a principle of God. Yet it has been taken and attached to death.
(Verse 5) That is why I’m telling you that there is no inheritance without heritage. Heritage is a way of life, how we live our culture. So the culture of Christians needs to change, it needs to live up according to what we want to be.
I do not know what I will be or what I will become, but when He appears, we shall be like Him. Therefore, for us to be like Him, we must preach that while we are not like Him. We don’t wait to be like Him to act, to be like or to live like Him. So, we live like Him even when we don’t look like Him until we become.
I have a good way of life, simple. So there’s a way of life, the way I do things. So do not expect to live heritage of a certain way and expect to have a chance to have an inheritance of a certain way. The heritage that you live, will give out results. You will inherit. As I said, many celebrated their cultures, and the next thing you have is attachments. The Heritage that we should acknowledge first is the Heritage of Christ – the way of Christ; how we live.
How we speak? There’s a way of life when it says, live a life according to the standard height and according to the calling that you have received. That is our heritage. We have a good heritage, are we living in it? Do you know about the heritage of Christ? It goes with how you speak. The way you live tells us your heritage, if whether you are from the Kingdom or not. What you say and how you do things, tells us the heritage you belong to. The way you dress determines your identity.
[Psalms 28: 9]
“Save your people, and bless Your inheritance; Shepherd them also, and bear them up forever”.
There is a heritage in Christ. This is the second scripture showing you the doctrine of Christ. There’s a heritage in Christ and if you miss this heritage, you will miss the inheritance. The heritage is the way of life, how you do things, how you dress, and what you eat. If indeed, our inheritance is immortality, how we live and do things should confess that. I wanted to show you that when I say in Christ there is a heritage, I am not trying to take what is in the world and bring it to Christ.
Save your people and bless your heritage; which is the heritage of God, which we have been given. It’s what we have found – It’s what we are living in. We can all be one and inherit and have the same heritage as long as we meet in Christ. Inheritance is forever – forever immortal. Whenever there is heritage, it speaks about the inheritance that is forever. So you cannot expect to partake from what is eternal while you don’t live up according to the heritage that we have. What is our heritage? If you don’t know what our heritage, culture is then go to the Word of God. The Word of God is our culture and our standard life.
[Hebrews 9: 15]
Heritage and inheritance go with everlasting immortality. Our inheritance is not cars, houses, and these positions. We will be robbing ourselves when if we say the houses that we have and the money we have is our inheritance. Our inheritance is immortality. When we have immortality all these other things are added in the inheritance as immortality – the life that does not end and is eternal.
In Christ, is there a thin line that distinguishes the difference between inheritance, culture, and tradition?
Heritage is the culture and the tradition of Christ. It is what we live on, a way of life. The way we are living in doing things. Remember, tradition and culture is the way we do things. Likewise, when we say our culture is Venda and we bury people during the night, that is how we do things. We created our culture, our tradition. So tradition and culture are how we live and do things.
So, even now as we are living, do you know that this is a new culture besides the Christian culture? The way the world is doing things is culture. They call it the western culture, but it’s not a western culture because it’s a mixture of cultures. We have come with a way of living; that’s a culture. So there is a culture and it is the one that is dominating. It’s not only destroying the cultures in the world but also the ones of Christians.
You do not just do things but there is a way in which you do them. Nevertheless, there is a culture that is arising and that is not like the ones we have but it is a way of life as time evolves. Culture has been evolving all along.
There is an agreement which is a covenant and a testament. When Jesus came, He found that there was an old agreement and took the old one and brought us into a new one. The Old Testament is mixed up with the culture of the Jewish and Israelites. God came and used their culture to convey or speak His message. God is not just cancelling it. This new covenant came with Christ.
When He came, He found them already with an old covenant and old culture. He then took it, cancelled it, and brought us into a new one. So, it is not only us who have to live in that way but also the Israelites. The Jewish had to leave their culture as well and enter into the culture of Christ, which is the new one. So, why did they want to crucify Him? It was not only about the scriptures, the law of Moses, or what. It was because Jesus was tempering with their culture, and He came with a new culture, a new inheritance.
Many times the devil uses this tactic to deceive many. We have different personalities. Salvation came and found personality. As long as it is not against God, then in that personality, we praise God. We do things differently. The Bible is of the nation of Christ. They receive the everlasting inheritance in the new covenant which cancels all and nullifies all these other cultures.
The culture of Jews is that they were given the law. They took that law and made it their own culture. That’s the thing with the Gospel, do not mix it up, take it as it is. They mixed up what God gave them. Now it was not as pure as God wanted it to be. God had to come with a new agreement that is more perfect than that one and cancel it. So even the Jewish need to leave their culture for them to be born again. Everyone needs to leave their culture for them to be born again.
Jesus says, ‘I have come to fulfill the law and the prophets’, meaning there is no Gentile nor Jew. Anyone who is not an Israelite is a Gentile. There is no longer Jew and Gentile. So we did not take their culture. Even their culture was cancelled together with our culture. Since we need to stop slaughtering goats, they need to stop slaughtering lambs.
[Hebrews 11: 8]
“By faith, Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the place which he would receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going”
Likewise in Genesis 12, he had to be called out of his own culture, his heritage because God was calling him into something new. A new culture, covenant [agreement, testament]. Go to a new thing that God has given you and leave these other things aside. In them, we will take what is good and leave what is bad. Whatever that is against the Will of God, I will leave it aside. I am not going to allow my culture or the culture that I was born into to prevent me from bringing the culture of Christ. What must come first is the culture of Christ. Diversity has become one. So, in that our inheritance is immortality.
Our inheritance is immortality. For us to have this immortality, we must live according to the heritage that God has given us.
