THE OIL THAT PROTECTS AND CONSECRATES

 [Luke 4:18]

The Spirit will go where the anointing is. We know that before Jesus was crucified, the woman took the anointing oil and she started to anoint Jesus. While she was doing so Judas started to complain that the anointing can be used to help the poor. Jesus then replied that the woman is preparing His body for burial. Anointing is used to consecrate and set apart. When you are among many for you to be called you need to be set apart, when you are set apart you are anointed. The anointing sets you apart, so that when God starts to do something He may know His own. He must see you with the anointing that is upon you.

 

[Romans 8:11]

 

Jesus didn’t resurrect Himself but there is a Spirit that raised Him. How did the Spirit identify Him because there were many tombs? When the woman anointed Jesus and prepared His body for burial she was consecrating Him for the Spirit to be able to identify Him. God sees you with the anointing that is upon you. The anointing marks us, it doesn’t only make sure that when the Spirit comes it may be able to identify us, but it also protects us.

 

As you are going to apply the anointing oil on yourself the angel of death, disappointment and negativity will pass you by. The anointing protects or consecrates you, it makes sure that the devil will not be able to find you. With this anointing, Jesus was able to enter into hades to preach and go out. The grave couldn’t hold Him because of the anointing. He can never dwell in you if there is no anointing. He only comes where there is anointing. When there is anointing He can come and give life but if there is no anointing He can’t give life.

 

[Joel 1:9-10]

 

All these things happen because the oil fails, meaning the oil has to do something. These are the results, it is telling us about what is happening in the field. Where there is no oil you can never experience new wine. The harvest of the field perishes because the oil fails. When the oil fails the Kingdom can never manifest. What happens when the oil succeeds, it means we will see the manifestation of the Kingdom. The oil needs to be there and fall.

 

[Psalm 133:1]

In Hebrews, it says do not forsake the gathering of the saints. When we become one in mind and Spirit, oil can flow. Gathering together doesn’t have to be physical. When we gather together we must have one mind and spirit, when it is like that it is like oil flowing from the head of Aaron to the beard. When there is oneness in the Spirit we will experience oil. The oil fails because there is no unity, hence in Malachi, it speaks of divorce meaning there is no fellowship between church and Christ. You can never be the city on a hill when you don’t receive oil. The oil keeps the fire burning so it must continue flowing.

 

You continually need the oil, we only associate oil with healing and deliverance yet it keeps us burning. When Paul said to Timothy do not forget to flame up, he meant that they must be in one Spirit. The oil will keep you burning, oil fails when there is no unity. Ephesians and Hebrews speak of one God, one baptism, and one Spirit. When there is unity oil comes down and it consecrates and protects you. Lamb has a lot of fat compared to other animals. God said to Moses kill the healthiest lamb and smear the blood on the doorpost, so that when the angel of death comes he may pass by. I am here to tell you that on the doorpost it was not only blood but oil also.

 

[Leviticus 8:29]

 

On the altar, you find oil and blood. Before Jesus could be crucified He had to go to Gethsemane where He began to sweat blood. What is Gethsemane? It is the pressing, the garden of olive trees where oil is made. Jesus was in the Garden of oil bleeding, and busy rectifying what happened in the Garden of Eden, He was removing the curse. This is the power of the oil and the blood, when they are upon you they remove everything that is not of God. They are able to defeat the weakness that is in you and are able to ensure that you no longer struggle. Where there is oil there is the solution when the oil is upon you the sick will become healed and those who are in captivity will be set free. (Verse 30), he was anointing Aaron. Since when do you anoint people with blood and oil?

 

[Revelations 6:6]

We know that there can never be wine without the oil, where the oil is God will be able to pour His new wine. When the anointing is active and alive in you it means there will be new wine upon you. People don’t know how to worship the Lord because they are not in the Spirit. Wait until you receive oil and when it is upon you, the new wine will be poured.

 

2 Kings also says do not harm the oil and wine, which makes it a doctrine. So the moment I pray upon your oil and you apply it nothing will harm you, only because of the oil. You shall not be harmed because the oil is upon you. [Job 1:6], means the devil was searching, there is no time for mistakes because the devil is searching. That is his work to search. He was going back and forth on the earth, for him to find you, you need to go out of the Word.

 

Hyenas are scavengers, antelopes are not afraid of a hyena but if a lion comes they will run. When God said I am sending you out as sheep among wolves He didn’t say that you must have a relation with wolves, you must check the character of wolves, jackals, and hyenas. For a wolf to be able to get to you it had to wear sheep’s skin but today the sheep goes to the wolf and have a relationship with it. The sheep have become comfortable among the wolves.

 

Wolves have sheep as their partners and friends. They have tasted it all. Wolves are able to compare and speak about both sides because the sheep were able to have a relationship with them. In the days of Job, there were not many people who were righteous but it was only Job. He couldn’t be found because He was upright living according to the ways of God. The devil is looking for you, he is not looking for his own. He is looking for that lost sheep that took its one foot out of the kingdom.

 

People who are not born again are already in the net of the devil, and he is throwing his rod to catch new fish. When you are a Christian you must always be in the deep side where deep calleth unto deep. If you are where there is no enough spirit you are very vulnerable and the devil can easily get you. The oil is in the deep side. (Verse 8), Satan couldn’t see Job but God is the one who made him aware. Job was protected hence the devil couldn’t see him. Is it the same with you that the devil cannot see you?

 

[Luke 22:24]

 

It is only you who can turn the oil to blood, I can anoint you but if you don’t pray enough the oil will never become the blood. Someone has to pray for the oil to become blood. We need the oil to become blood so that it can be life. He prayed in agony turning the oil to blood. Burn the oil that is in you. When you start to pray in tongues the oil starts to produce other things. Do you need grain, new wine, and blood? Someone needs to burn the oil.
