Genesis [26: 12- 25]
Isaac dug the wells of water, these wells were not brand new but he went back to dig the wells of Abraham. This is prophetic, the wells of the forefathers which is the father of faith(Abraham). Revival is not a new thing but what is being revived is what was before. This is restoration, the outpouring of the Spirit and it won’t be a new thing. The Spirit that has raised Him from the dead will bring about revival. We are digging the well Spiritually by speaking in tongues, by doing so water will gush out.
The Word should be evident in our lives and not our imagination, what is preached should confirm what the Bible says. The mercy of God is new every morning(See Lamentations 3:23), but it is new because it does not expire. The Bible says “To those who believe out of their bellies shall flow rivers of living waters”(See John 7:38) . In some wells there are disputes and fights, therefore one should move on unto another well. This particular well which Isaac dug no one disputed over it, everyone was scared of this well.
This was not a new well, the foundation was already established and we ought to partake from this very same foundation. For an individual to get to the water, they should dig up by speaking in tongues and remove the flesh and stones, tongues and prayer shuts the flesh. Rehoboth is upon the church and we ought to push on in prayer by speaking in tongues.
(Verse 12) Isaac was wealthy, however, it was not the prosperity of the land. Although Isaac was prosperous he was not fruitful in the land until he dug the well. Therefore this very prosperity we are partaking in is not of cars, houses, or possessions but of being fruitful in the land. We ought to impact the world, the world is hungry for the Word of God, and the church has to quench their thirst. We have to be fruitful, there is a well running over and it shall begin in the church.
We should dig up and move with the faith of Enoch and Elijah and not build up our own faith. When we speak in tongues we connect with clouds of witness.
(Verse 22) Now the Lord has made room for us and we shall be fruitful. There is a well running over, this is a prophetic message to the church. No one will come and leave thirsty or hungry again. Life will come out of our bellies, God is taking over the church. Once the well is opened no one can close it, it is flowing unstoppably
[Hebrews 11:32- 40]
Subdue the Kingdom, you cannot subdue the kingdom without a well. Philistines knew what was dangerous and it was the well and not Isaac’s crops. Once a well is closed there is no life, therefore the well is opened and there is life. Subduing is conquering, when one is created to subdue it means there will be something to fight you. Similar to Adam he was instructed to subdue as he was supposed to subdue the devil.
Co-existing with another kingdom and not bringing it down, is tolerance, meaning one has been overpowered. The Kingdom of God does not negotiate with demons but it takes over. We can only experience the revival without dust and offense, therefore we must do away with disputes.
(Verse 40) Because God had us in mind, they did not receive the reward. They were not made perfect apart from us and therefore we need to lay aside every weight that
easily entangles us(See Hebrews 12:1). It did not say demonic weight but every weight even if it seems spiritual. A full cup can never receive anything new.
