WE ARE SERVICED IN THE SECRET PLACE- IN PRAYER

[Isaiah 53:1-3]

“Who has believed our message? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed? He shall grow up before him as a tender plant and as a root out of dry ground. He, Has no form or beauty…”

This verse is talking about Jesus and Him being born and walking on earth, He had no beauty. Meaning He had nothing that would attract people to Him and this is the character of God because He does not want us to be attracted to Him through anything else but only through discernment.

We ought not to find God in what we assume, hence He uses the despised and those looked down on, discernment is the only way that allow us to see God. Our knowledge is an obstacle for us to see God in His fullest form. Most know the reward and not what happens in the secret place.

Many follow a minister because of his healings and administrations and do not how he prays in the secret place. You do not worship when you know how to sing. True worship is when the voice fades and you go to God as you are. The secret place is very essential, attending a Church without a secret place is a disaster waiting to happen.

It is dangerous to touch a man who prays and not an anointed man because such a man can cease to pray. David appointment is not determined by defeating Goliath but he was appointed because he is a man after God’s heart (See 1 Samuel 13:14).

The heart of God is the one that needs to be entertained and not people and His heart is found in the secret place. The ministry of Jesus had to die and only the garden of Gethsemane remained because that is the prayer room(Secret place).

The signs and wonders ceased and He was in prayer at the garden, how they perceived Him the narrative changed. Without Jesus dying He would not have the power of resurrection. All power and authority was given to Him at the cross. 

When one goes into prayer/secret room they collect all Spiritual gifts. The absence of discernment shows that one has lost the presence of God. In the secret place you only know God and whoever He instructs you to pray for, you obey because in the secret room there is no record of wrongs. Discernment is our eye sight and it is an error for a believer to lack discernment.

[John 1:44 – 51]

Jesus instructed Philip to follow Him, there was no signs or wonders just a command. Philip found Nathaniel and said “we have found Him, the Son of God” yet no one disclose this information to Phillip but he already caught Jesus in the Spirit. (Verse 46) Nathaniel asked can anything good come out of Nazareth?people are attracted by appearance and beauty.

Real sons are attracted by God and an alter that no one can see. When God wants to do something, He removes what will attract people. Phillip had discernment when he was commanded to follow, he obeyed on the other hand Nathaniel lacked discernment because he was prophesied first to believe in Jesus and to follow Him.

Hence the Bible instructs us to entertain strangers(Hebrews 13:2), because God operate that way and speak through strangers. Jesus taught the disciples about crucifixion for 3 years and once He was crucified they ran away, for this reason God hide the end results. His own could not recognize Him, because God likes to hide and only those with discernment can recognize Him.

Christians lack discernment and follow trends. Therefore if Pharaoh’s daughter knew whom she was adopting she would not have adopted Moses. Moses was seen as an orphan because they did not know what God had planned with Moses, they did not know that he is their savior. In our respective positions and home, what is hidden God is about to disclose it, therefore do not worry about being the least or the despised. 

[Matthew 13:53 – 58]

He taught them in the synagogue and they asked among themselves, is this not the carpenter’s son and is this not the son of Mary? There is a reason why God choose a son of a carpenter, He choose one who was despised.  People like to worship what make sense to them, hence God use what is despised.

(Verse 57) They we’re offended by Him, although the teaching was powerful and amazing. God likes to hide and it is in the secret place. God does not defend a gift or anointing, He defends those who pray and know His face. 

A prayerful individual does not fall forever, when they fall they know where to confess and receive restoration. Similarly to David after he sinned he did not run away but he knew the place of repentance(See 2 Samuel).

A prayerful believer is a dangerous individual because they know the Will of God. The secret room is where one speaks to God face to face. 

[John 19 :33]  

After resurrection Jesus walked among the disciples but they could not see Him, because He likes to hide. Therefore in order for God to use someone they have to be broken first, so that they can admit and see that indeed God is with them. The soldier who pierced Jesus had to, for the sake of his eyes to be opened and he received his testimony.

In our respective lives we had to go through all the trials for our eyes to be opened, we had to be broken. No one fears a lamb but when the lamb was slaughtered blood came out and the lion roared. 

When they found Jesus, He was already dead, they did not break His legs. Instead one of the soldiers pierced Jesus on His side, blood and water came out. They could not see the Spirit, because three things came out which was water, blood and the Spirit and the soldier now had a testimony.

There is a testimony of three which is water, blood and Spirit, this is what we are born of, therefore we are not valor bone but a valor blood. Eve did not have authority because she was a bone. 

[Genesis 2:21] 

Adam was in a deep sleep and out of his bone a woman was created. Jesus died and the soldier pierced Him and a Spirit came out. We are different from Eve, she was created out of the bone but we were made in the Spirit(secret place). When Jesus went to the cross, He was pregnant with the Church. We are serviced in the secret place, as the Church we are serviced in prayer where we were made.
