Jesus went into the temple and found people busy with their own business, He flogged and rebuked them in public. There is a time where people should be rebuked in public. Jesus had previously spoken to Nicodemus in private but this time did it in public. The problem with us believers is that we open the Bible too much and not ourselves, we are not completely honest.
You have nowhere to hide, therefore approach the throne of God with boldness and receive mercy. There was no need for Adam and Eve to leave the garden, but the tree influenced them. With that said you do not need to leave the anointing, but become a child and be corrected.
Similar to King David, despite the power and authority he had, he knew that if Samuel can anoint him then he can surely correct him. Therefore whoever can make you can break you, because he can make you again. Hence it is called the porter’s house – you won’t enter and not find clay which is broken.
Many leave the presence when things are not favorable, whenever the presence is hot they want to leave unaware that the fire is not meant to be nice, but it must burn them. Fire deals with the root cause and does away with all. As a son, one must know that there will be things that will try to move you from the anointing.
Many have been appointed and released yet they still carry bad seeds and this becomes a door for the enemy. After being released that is when the devil can enter, remember, the devil cannot enter anyone in the presence of the Father. Similarly, with Judas, he went out and that is when the devil entered (See Luke 22:3)
The glory, splendor, and presence need to be uncomfortable sometimes, if it is all comfortable then ask yourself where you are. Sometimes the glory must pick you up and down, we are admitted in a theatre and God is dealing with us.
We should have Christian activists, the next generation should be saved through this current generation. There are certain things that pastors should not even teach about, activists should arise from within the church. There is nothing one should be ashamed of about the past. The world thinks there is no hope in churches and there is hope, survivors should share their stories. We conquer the evil one through our testimonies (See Revelation 12:11)
Although we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet we do so no longer. The Word became flesh – Although Jesus was human, He never operated according to the flesh, He was a Spirit-Man. Hence He asked the disciples that how long He should be with them, for them to know that when they have seen Him, they have seen the Father (See John 14:9).
John 3 says “no one has seen the Father except the Son, who is in Heaven”. The problem with Nicodemus is that he knew that Jesus was from God and not that He is in God hence he could not follow Him any longer.
