‘WHERE ARE YOU?’ 

 

[Genesis 3:8-14]

 

The Lord God called to Adam and asked where are you? In today’s deliverance, I want you to realize that every time deliverance is conducted, it’s about people being possessed. Today it’s not only about people who are possessed, but you are going to be set free.

 

It is mainly about people being repositioned. Where are you? God asked Adam “where are you?” so the first possession here was not demons dwelling in him but it was demons taking him out of the presence. It was the serpent taking him out of the presence that is why God asked him, “where are you?” It’s not about what possesses you but where you are?

 

Most of the time when people go to church, they want what is in them to be taken out, but you find that the problem is not what is in them but where they are. Where is your mind, where is your soul, where are you? That is why God asked where you are? In (Verse 14) God says to them, “Because you have done this, you will eat the dust.” This means your position is very important for it is the one that gives authority to the devil to possess your body. The devil cannot possess you without repositioning you. Before he can possess you, he needs to reposition you.

 

Many are set free but they are not positioned. After being set free, you need to be repositioned. You can only be possessed and tormented by demons when you are not in the right place, so where are you? Where is your mind, where is your soul? Where is your body because there is a place you are in where we can’t deliver you from? We have to first take you out of that place to deliver you. God respects principles, so when dealing with territorial demons which possess the place and not people. So, as long as you are in that place they will continually possess you.

 

Some demons are not cast out but they need you to run away from them not be set free from them. You are bound because you are where they are ruling.

 

Someone would have stayed in the house with the wife of Potipher’s wife and tried to cast out a demon in her, but the deliverance that was needed there is running away. When you are given faith to run away, exercise it! Joseph was given faith to run away not to sit. That is why God asked Adam “where are you?” Sometimes it’s the place that you are at that makes you be possessed or tormented

 

[Mathew 6:13]

“Do not lead us into temptations, but deliver us from the evil one.”

 

Today I want you to get it like I did when I was meditating about today’s service. Deliver! Today we are going to deliver you. In delivering this bible from here to there, the bible moves from one hand to the other. So today you will be delivered from one place to another. The Spirit of God will be the delivery man. He will deliver you from one place to another. Deliverance is not about taking something and throwing it away but it’s about moving from one place to another. It’s about moving from one custody to the other, from one hand to another. When we deliver you we reposition you. We move you from the position of demons, principalities, authorities, and evil ones then we deliver you to a place where God is, in His presence.

 

So, today be delivered! Be at the right place. God must not ask you where are you? That question today ends because today you are found and you will be delivered into the right place. Today we are moving you and positioning you to the right place.

 

[Colossians 3:1]

 

“If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above where Christ is sitting at the right hand of God.“

 

This is where you need to be because Ephesians says “you are seated at the right hand of the Father.” You can’t be seated at the right hand of the Father physically but mentally. Your medulla needs to be at the right hand of the Father. Your mind needs to be at the right hand of the Father. In saying your medulla, it is because your stomach follows your medulla. The stomach is controlled by the medulla so when your medulla is at the right hand then you are seated.

 

There is a place in which when you are in, you cannot be possessed because demons capitalize on thoughts. Your thoughts can be the key for demons to enter. While they have a place to dwell, they can dwell in your thoughts as long as they are in wild places. Remember when Jesus taught about demons and said when they find a clean house, and the house with no meditation or no Word it is dangerous. An empty mind is dangerous, it’s either you meditate about the Word of God or the things of the world because a mind without meditation is a vulnerable mind. It can still be possessed. The house can be clean yet you find that there are no thoughts in it as well. Find something to think about that can keep your mind safe from being possessed.

 

Not worrying and not meditating about the world does not make you immune from being possessed. The house must not just be clean and empty but the Word must occupy. We have morning devotions and messages we get during the day because we need to have something to meditate about and keep the mind occupied. I’m sending you all those teachings because I am trying to show you how I meditate on the Word of God.

 

This is a continuous relationship, it’s not a once-a-week thing. Scriptures need to be unpacking scriptures even when you are not reading the bible. The mind needs to be meditating on something because you have the power. Just like the man who is on the steering wheel; the power to maneuver or drive that car is in your mind. Many are possessed because they are not in control. Allow only the Word to be settled in your mind. What kills you is not what you hear but what you meditate on. You can take in poison and spill it out as soon as possible but the minute you swallow it, it becomes a problem that is why we now have to pump it out. Have you ever heard of someone who has consumed pills? They die because they didn’t taste pills but they drank them. Most of the time what kills is not what you taste but what you swallow. It is not what you hear but what you meditate on. When you meditate, you think.

 

Think about the Word of God and then converse with it in your mind then see the Word as a person who is active and alive. The bedroom of the Word is your mind. He must always be in the bedroom and when He is in there, speak to Him don’t just study Him. Two gather when it’s the Word, and therefore the presence is bound to be there. Converse with the Word and ask Him what is He saying and He will surely tell you who He is. Do not look at the Word and assume, but allow the Word to introduce Himself to you. A Word is a person and He speaks. Remember in the beginning was the Word. In the book of Genesis when it says “they heard the steps of God coming” they heard the Word walking. What I am saying can be the deep sounds of echo because you are far, but when you are positioned and the Word starts to speak from within you, you can converse with Him.

 

The Word is the visible image of the invisible God. And nothing was made without Him. Everything was made through Him. He gave birth to this world and everything in it. So, converse with the Word for there is no Christian who does not look like he is crazy. If you maintain your normality you have not become a Christian yet because a Christian speaks to what is not seen. You can find a Christian speaking to himself only to find that he is speaking to the one in him. So normality is not for Christians. We don’t wait for someone to speak to but we speak to the invisible one. Hence when we lay down in bed, we don’t look up but we look within. When your mind is above, then you look up from within you.

 

Meditation always happens where your mind is. Whenever you start to meditate on the things of the world, you must know that you are in the world. When you meditate about the Word, then you must know that you are above because the Word will never come down. The instruction is not the Word coming down but for us to go to the Word. So when we are in the Word we unpack and reveal the Word that is above not below. Think about the Word, meditate about it, and set your mind where the Word is.

 

The highest point is not geographical, but being in the Spirit and being in the world in the lowest because even demons are spiritual. Thinking about the things of the world is becoming even lower than demons. This is a spiritual being who eats dust because dust gets puffed up by the wind, so that when the wind blows it carries the dust to the realm of demons.

 

Demons can’t eat flesh down there but they blow the wind so that it can come where they are. They don’t eat soil but dust. God said to the serpent “you will eat dust” because dust is the one blown by the wind but the same dust can also be blown by the Spirit. Your dust must die in such a way that when the wind blows they don’t see dust but the wind. That is why Jesus said, “those who are born of Me are like the wind.” So dust must die for you are in the wind.

 

I believe this will set your mind free. You must set your mind on things above because your deliverance is in your mind.
