‘ALL TRUTH IS IN THE SPIRIT’
December 2, 2020Many people who claimed to have certain fruits of the Holy Spirit in their basket; it was revealed to them that they do not have those fruits when it was time to be tested. This was a year to live according to the teachings we had received and not to be learning, it was examination time. Because Adam and Eve did not go into righteousness, we were, therefore, born into sin. We must not go through what they went through because we are not of them.
Jesus bore all on the cross so that we may not go through it. Learn from the things that happened this year. Study everyone who has fallen as much as we study those in the bible. The love of money can cause you to sell what is most important in your life. Many Christians think that they are better than Judas whereas they are worse than he is. Check what the love of money causes you to do.
Many people are walking with demons but they think they are walking with angels. The love of money does not manifest the same way. The one who stops coming to church to make money is not different from the one who became a thief to get money. One sacrificed his humanity and one sacrificed his life in Christianity. You gave up what is most important in your life. Some things should not be compromised. Money must not change you, do not allow it to make you who you are not. Judas was able to commit himself to the ministry of Jesus only to betray Him and lay everything to waste. The baby (the bad tree) that you take care of while you are committed to God will shock you someday.
The very same tree that grows and is taken care of by the owner of the house. When the storm comes, it is the same tree that killed the owner and destroyed the house. I have taught about leaving trees until harvest time. Jesus taught this for the sake of those who cannot keep their gardens pure.
The devil does not plant big trees, he plants small seeds. The love of money was there in Judas from the beginning, check his reasoning capacity. Wanting to take care of children is not wrong but his motive was wrong. The seed caught up with him in the future.
He was never disobedient to Jesus. He seemed to be on track but something was growing in him and it manifested in times of testing. You are a murderer if you suffocate your spiritual life for a salary. You forgot about your marriage to Christ and focused on your earthly needs. Can you be a wife without performing your wifely duties? No way. You cannot be born again and not serve. You cannot come and look at the husband and say you want to be normal. Relationships have levels; there are roommates and there are wives and husbands. Roommates do not sleep in the same bedroom but live in the same house. The wife does not carry the vision of the husband but their own though they live with the husband. Being a husband is not like being a woman. You have to perform your duties as a provider even if you are to compromise who you are. You do not have the leverage to choose if you sleep on hunger or not. You have to do something.
Sex is not the only duty of a husband. A husband can cook and clean the house but when he gets tired, it all goes back to the wife. A wife can work and when there is no money in the house, it goes back to the husband. It is your responsibility to serve, that is what your husband expects out of you. Everyone in the Bible served, God never used anyone who did not serve Him. God required something from them. That is the reason why the Bible says “they walked with God”. When you serve, you are walking with God. In Hebrews, their faith was visible through their serving. You cannot say you have faith and not serve. They all had faith but it was not for them. Serving is not all about you. We serve each other.
[Genesis 2:4-15]
“Then the Lord God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to tend and keep it…”
There was no man to serve, the ground was abandoned. God blessed Adam with a serving spirit first before a wife. God put the man in the garden of Eden, not on earth. People sacrifice taking care of the garden to till the ground. The earth was not given to anyone to serve but God gave Adam to Eden, God did not see it as a mistake. There had to be someone who takes care of the kingdom. God did not create you for the earth but the kingdom. Before you do your earthly duties, have you served God? We do not toil in the kingdom. If we are leaving out the curses, we cannot take care of the earth. The purpose of God is for you to take care of the kingdom. You are seating at home now reading, you are not serving. Find yourself in the kingdom, you need to serve.
(Verse 15) When you continue doing what you are doing, you will be sustained. People are falling because they do not keep, they stopped tending the garden. It all begins with tending for you to keep the garden. Serving sustains and maintains you. You tend through obedience and faithfulness. The bible says to serve the Lord with reverence and fear because you are obeying a command. Do not take it for granted because you will kill yourself. Adam and Eve were not obedient and the kingdom was taken away from them.
[Genesis 3:17-18]
“Then to Adam, He said, “Because you have heeded the voice of your wife, and have eaten from the tree of which I commanded you, saying, “You shall not eat of it’: Cursed is the ground for your sake; In toil, you shall eat of it all days of your life.”
By eating from the tree of life he would have kept the garden but because he ate from the tree of knowledge and evil, he messed up. The ground was there from the beginning and God took him to what he was not purposed for. You cannot come and sit in the kingdom. Adam had to tend and keep the garden, the command was not given to the wife.
The devil attacked the woman because Adam was tending and keeping, while Eve was a normal person, not serving. The devil cannot go to the one who is serving. Adam fell because of marriage not because he was not serving. The devil looked for the one who was just sitting not doing anything. Adam slept with a prostitute and became one. It is important to serve together as a married couple because the devil enters through one who is just sitting. When you do not serve, you are not a normal Christian.
Being a normal Christian is serving, doing your wifely duties. The woman did not have a willing spirit hence the man could not just sit even if he was out of the presence of God. He was a bondservant. Either you will have the chains of the gospel or the world. Till the ground or tend the garden, it is your choice. Those who were serving and have fallen now are serving another master, mammon. Money makes many busy and not be able to serve God. How far can you go? Jesus goes to the garden to pray, Judas was busy selling Jesus whereas he was supposed to be with Jesus; serving. He was busy with mammon while Jesus was busy with His sons. We are busy with the work of God, you are busy with mammon.
Who have you received? You cannot sell my Jesus. Those who go back and sin, they are crucifying Him again. You are selling Him like Judas. It is the sin of disobedience. We have lots of Judas. Judas kept the garden by going to Gethsemane, prayed, and sweated blood. He says “My Father is the gardener, but I am busy taking care of the garden, cutting branches because He gave me the work of Adam”. For every Judas there is Paul. The sin that Judas committed was nothing compared to the sin of Paul. When you come you will find God using those you were leading in intercession now telling you to pray. God took the despised. Be careful, serve Him with reverence, and fear lest you become replaced. It all started in Genesis. The first thing that God blessed us with is serving not marriage. You are not a son if there is no servanthood in you. How do you call Him your Father while you do not serve in His house?
[John 13:5-14]
“If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet”.
We become one by serving each other. God is saying you cannot call each other brethren if you do not serve each other, you have no part of each other. When we were growing up, we were taught to take care of the father’s house. We served one another through that. The one who is sitting down is not a brother but a visitor because visitors do not serve but are served. We are not going to hire people to serve in our home while sons are sitting down, getting spoilt. Before you can learn how to keep it, you must learn how to take care of it. Serving is family. You are part of the family if we serve one another.
(Verse 14) He was just saying since I sacrificed all only to die for you, you are ought to do that among one another. Separation does not start with you, Jesus also separated from His family for the sake of the Gospel. Jesus left when it was expected of Him to take care of the family. Mary did not have a son because of us and His siblings lost a brother. Joseph taught Him how to be a carpenter so that he can take on from where he left off but he lost him.
(Verse 14) They were calling this name in vain because they did not serve one another. You need to live up according to the name that you call me with. A teacher teaches by becoming. How am I your teacher if you do not do what I do? We see a good teacher by his students. You make me an incompetent teacher by not serving. If we stop serving, what are we saying about the teacher? We serve one another. If you read this message and still do not serve, your salvation is questionable.
[Phillipians 2:5-7]
“Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus”
When most people stop serving is because of them. Serving is not about you. We want to be sons but we do not want to be bondservants. Have you taken such a form? Are you a servant or a bondservant? You have to be a bondservant, that is the only way God can lift you up. He lifts sons who are bondservants. Who can stop you from serving when you have read such a message? The heart of your salvation is serving. I do not want church members, I want servants. We have to serve each other. You are part of me if we serve each other.
