You are Incorruptible

Submitting comes before covering
November 20, 2018Maturity is not tested by how you speak, it is tested by how you hear and listen. People speak with eloquence and then are perceived as matured, this is not it, we do not come with the eloquence of speech – let’s see what you have heard. Maturity of Paul was seen by how he listened, not in enticing articulate speech.
[1 Corinthians 2:4], “With the demonstration of the spirit’s power…” [Matthew 24] and [Acts 2], ‘’When the day of Pentecost had come, they were all together in one place, and suddenly a sound came from heaven like a rushing violent wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting.’’ While they were praying (speaking), they had to cease when there was a shaking and then they received power. Therefore power, is when they were quiet.
Be quick to listen and slow to speak, because there is power in you doing so. I can either speak from what I have (experience) or from what I hear – you need to know that what some speak, might not necessarily mean it is from God. Experience is the ability to store, apart from what God has given. Many have stored up information and they do not preach by the Spirit, and thus seem powerful – they do not speak from the throne.
When it is the Spirit, He reminds you of everything, you do not depend on your own memory. So what do you mediate on? Just a reminder, meditation is when you get to be reminded by the Spirit, not just you speaking on your own accord. We all have the ability to speak, but do we listen? Many clap hands when one speaks on the pulpit, however, do we have those who clap hands for those who listen? Listening is discernment.
[1 Corinthians 2:2], “I resolve to know nothing but Christ…” This means that instead of him speaking, Paul was determined to only discern and receive Christ speak, in order to be informed about all that concerns Him. Choosing to be reminded by the Spirit instead.
[1 Corinthians 2:6], “We declare a higher wisdom amongst those who are matured…” The matured are the ones who listen. Paul was surrounded by a lot of people, but only the matured would grasped the higher wisdom he spoke. When you have come for fellowship every Sunday do you go home having heard the mysteries of God? Maturity is measured by how you listen!
It’s not about how many times you go into fasting and prayer, praying for people, it’s about your response to the word of God. People are going to churches that are full of revelations and mysteries yet they remain babies because they do not hear, they only end up as far as quoting what the teacher has said.
We preach the same message to all but what distinguishes many is the ear – sometimes you meet up and listen to what people are saying and end up declaring them matured, whereas they are not. How many people stand in the pulpit to preach and yet there is no maturity? They speak from experience and recite scriptures, they are not ready listeners! Only to find out that the very same minister, can say Jesus is the Messiah, but can still go on to deny Him. Let he who has ears listen to what the Spirit is saying.
How many have come to church, listened to the Word of God and then went on to struggle with the same thing? They are only memorizing and have not let the message to sink in and become one with them.
[Luke 9:20], “Who do you say I am… You are the Christ…” Christ lies in the ears of the one who hears and sees. Some received a prophet, some Elijah and others Christ, yet He was preaching the same message to one crowd – some were matured and others were not. Some people see foolishness while others see maturity.
[James 1:19], “Let every man be quick to hear (a ready listener) and slow to speak…” I am already convinced that 2019 is a here, where we will listen. People are ready prophets, they cannot wait to be given the pulpit to showcase their abilities, and they don’t want to be listeners.
A ready listener is one who listens to God when He speaks, he does not listen to man (flesh; consciouness). Creation is groaning, waiting for the manifestation of Sons of glory – can you hear these groaning? Someone has to understand the language of the Father – you have to hear what He says to you.
LET HE WHO HAS AN EAR LISTEN TO WHAT THE SPIRIT IS SAYING TO THE CHURCH.
