Be Mindful Of His Presence – Operate By The Spirit
May 3, 2019
“You can never come into contact with God, and remain the same. You don’t have to explain your weaknesses to Him, but the minute you come into contact with His presence all chains break. When you go into the presence of the Lord all worries of the world disappears because He lives. No family, or friends can give me life except for Jesus Christ and His presence.
If you understand the place that Jesus Christ was at when He was at the Garden of Gethsemane, you will understand that He was physically weak, His soul was conflicted, but because of the presence of Lord, He was strengthened. God is able to rise you up and He becomes your pillar. The presence of God will strengthen you up and quicken your mortal body. It penetrates and doesn’t give your body any choice.
All we long for is the presence of God, that’s how you will be sustained. People with different anointing’s, and gifts will come and go, but the presence of God remains. The presence of God is not affected by anything. The Father of the house love say, “Love has no opposite, when you say the opposite of Love is hate then you are decreasing it”, so is the presence of God. In Him we move, we live and have our being because those who are born-again are new creatures. We are under a being called God.
You are made out of a certain material. The presence of God is so wonderful, if God is for us, who can be against us? Sickness can never dare to be against you! Calamity can never dare to be against you because God is in the house. The Shekinah glory is nothing you can understand, He comes with such authority, but yet with meekness – it is so confusing. I know we have all felt a touch of the Holy Ghost, but there is a time where the husband decides to come and the presence of God weakens you but yet He strengthens you.
You get confused but you totally get still it. This is the presence of the Almighty God, when He comes in His fullness, your life will never be the same again, all chains, weaknesses, addictions, depression fall off. It’s by grace. God wants to take the burden from you, He says, “My yoke is easy therefore give me yours because I can carry it.” We like to be so strong before the Lord, but you must surrender all to Him.
He wants to deliver you from all the lies the devil has told you. He is taking you out! If you can’t tell your Daddy (God), that you are weak and falling away, that you have made a mistake, who else will you tell? If you can’t trust Him with your life, who will you trust? As servants of God our bodies get tired, and its only (Daddy) God, who can pull you back and sustain you and preserve your mind. Only He can keep you!
I might not be talking to each one of you but I know there someone whom God is ministering unto; God says, “I feel you and I can spare two minutes of my time for you.” The Love of God is so magnificent! God loves you and He would die for you over and over again! Yet it pains Him when you feel alone while He is there.”
There is a song that says, “Because He lives I can face tomorrow”. I just wonder that, for that person to utter those words, what was going on? What state were they at, that they couldn’t face any tomorrow? What was happening with them to make them say those words? Did they lose their jobs, did they lose their loved ones? They got courage to face the unknown because He lives.
Jesus said, “launch into the deep” because in the deep your trust has no borders. Have you ever been in a situation where you had to fight for something that everybody sees as good but because you know that there is more, you cannot just accept the good that everybody sees? This is something that no one will understand but only you understand what you are carrying.
People tend to accept the lesser you, but you know that you are called for something bigger than that. It is by purpose that God hides His own people, and that you feel it alone. Hannah knew that she was a mother, and that there was something better for her, hence she couldn’t accept the lesser her. She knew that there was something else she was carrying. People have a tendency on accepting you like that, and condoning the lesser you.
God keeps pressuring and moving you, and the more He moves you, it’s the more people do not understand, but only you and God understand. It’s only you who gets it, don’t expect your neighbour to get it, if they get it then you have not discovered your purpose or calling. The minute it weakens you and you become lost for words, plans and tactics or human intervention, then that is what God has called you for. We are not called to be understood. Jesus says, “They hated me so what more about you?”
Eli loved Hannah even in her barrenness, and that was a problem because he was condoning her situation saying that she is fine the way she is. But Hannah couldn’t accept it because the cry wasn’t from her. Purpose is something that is bigger than you, and your family. Purpose doesn’t care whether you are barren or not. It is the saddest thing to walk on earth without purpose. It is bigger than you because it drives you. It will get you into trouble, prisons because it is bigger than you.
Hannah was crying from within but it was not normal because it was no her crying, but the purpose of God in her. Purpose will confuse the limitations of this world. You can think that you decided to come here today but it is purpose. We are all prisoners of purpose. When you carry that which God has called you for do not settle for less, because you are not less.
[1 Samuel 1:5], “But unto Hannah he gave a worthy portion because he had loved her, but God had shut up her womb.” You will be born without a hand, yet God comes and says ‘He will use your hand to heal the sick’, He is such a confusing God. You will be born without speech but He will say ‘Go and tell Pharaoh to let my people go.’ He will shut up your womb, when He shuts it He does so purposely. God can never trust that which cannot penetrate to the other side, so He had to seal up the womb.
You can never inherit unless you break down the wall, but don’t be mistaken and think that the wall was put by your neighbour, but it is the Lord’s doing. What was going to be birthed from the same womb is purpose because it is trusted. It changes the destiny of people and also changes their mind-set; it is effective! In a blink of an eye, He shut the womb. Yet it could not just take a blink of an eye by God to say ‘You are no longer barren’, but it took something from within, it took Hannah’s resilience.
It did not take Hannah to pray in tongues but it took groaning. When you are faced with purpose or death, you go to a point where you exhaust all your options until a point where you do not know what to say anymore. This is where you fight until you are without words.
Verse (12), “Now Hannah spoke in her heart and only her lips moved and Eli thought she was drunk.” Groaning is what fights against death! [John 11:32], “When Mary came [to the place] where Jesus was and saw Him, she fell at His feet, saying to Him, “Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died.” It was after Jesus was told that His friend was sick, and then later received the message that he passed on.
When He was approaching the city, Mary came and fell down at His feet saying that if Jesus was there, Lazarus would not have died. This is true! Verse (9), “Jesus answered, “Are there not twelve hours [of light] in the day? Anyone who walks in the daytime does not stumble, because he sees [by] the light of this world.” Had Jesus been there Lazarus would not have stumbled because he would have had the day.
Verse (10), “But if one walks in the night he stumbles because the light is not in him.” When there is no light within you, you will stumble! So because Lazarus – you have accepted the lesser you and reduced Jesus, then you die because He is not in you. Why are you walking in the night? Because He is not in you, this is why Lazarus died for the second time because he was walking in the day but he never had the light in him to keep him from dying.
Why do you bottle God in the place where He always has to come and wake you up, but the minute He leaves you still die? To everyone else he was dead but to God he was sleeping. Verse (35), “He groaned in his spirit…Jesus wept.” You need to groan in the Spirit to confront death! The minute Jesus was confronted with death, He was groaning from within. The moment you are confronted with a situation you must groan. Lazarus was there for four days but Jesus went and confronted the situation.
Verse (41), “Father I thank you that you always hear me.” When did Jesus pray or make an audible statement of prayer? Jesus did not make any prayer or utter any words! He was just groaning. Groaning should be our lifestyle, it is what we need to do each and every time, more than speaking in tongues. [Romans 8:21], “…that the creation itself will also be freed from its bondage to decay [and gain entrance] into the glorious freedom of the children of God. (22) For we know that the whole creation has been moaning together as in the pains of childbirth until now.” Even creation groans because it is aware that the state that it is in, is not well, therefore it groan.
We too groan to be set free from bondage of limitations. Verse (26), “For we know not what to pray for but the spirit makes intercession…” You are the one person who knows what you need more than anybody else in this world. The Spirit of God helps you in your weaknesses. You might think you know what you need but the Spirit of God knows. Do not limit yourself and end with only praying in tongues, but let the Spirit of God pray within you.
Verse (28), “And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose.”
Everything will work together for good because you are called according to His purpose. When you pray in your understanding, you pray knowing what you need, you pray in your body – then you move to another stage, where you pray in tongues and your mind becomes unfruitful. When you move and pray in groaning, it is now the Spirit praying with words that cannot be uttered.
The Spirit of God knows the mind of God thus He will pray according to it for your weaknesses. When there is a wall in front of you, and you are faced with death you must groan. Don’t want to understand what you are praying but groan. [1 Corinthians 14:4], “One who speaks in a tongue edifies himself; but one who prophesies edifies the church.” He who speaks in tongues is praying for himself and speaks mysteries so what more when you groan in the spirit?
The bible says that we never want to be found naked but we want to be further clothed by the Spirit of God. Let groaning, be your lifestyle. Immortality is personal, it is something that you can receive through the laying of hands, but you receive it by groaning. Immortality; It is the fight for life.
Your marriage, job could be mortal, so in every area of your life, you ought to fight for immortality so that it can be forever. Jesus says, “I am the resurrection and life”, but those who live will live and not die. It is so easy for us to accept life but I challenge you not to just settle for life but strive for immortality. Do not settle for less!
LET HE WHO HAS AN EAR HEAR WHAT THE SPIRIT IS SAYING TO THE CHURCH
YESHUA; A CITY ON A HILL, THE LIGHT THAT CANNOT BE HIDDEN
