’SEX BEFORE MARRIAGE’

When we talk about sex we talk about something that pleases the flesh, sex is a pleasure and yes it is good but only in marriage. Out of marriage sex is unlawful, it is sin. Many people want to experience sex, those who are married, and those who are not. If you go to a young person now they will tell you that they want to know how it feels to have sex. They have desires to know what is sex all about.

Sex does not go alone, it does not go with the nice times only but it also comes with consequences. Not only pregnancy and sickness but there is something that is very important that is a consequence and that it is a covenant, a covenant that makes two people one. Whenever there is sex there is a covenant, there is one who influences the other, one gets to be what the other one is. Most of the time we don’t talk about these things but the part of the results of sex.

During sex, one person influences the other. For instance, have you asked yourself, why would an HIV positive person infect the one that is negative and it is not the other way around? This clearly shows what the bible implied when it said when one sleeps with a prostitute they become a prostitute. Yet it does not tell us that when you sleep with a righteous man you become righteous. This is true that a negative person can never cure a positive person.

In sex most of the time what gets transferred is bad things, you become what that person is. You sleep with a prostitute you become that, you sleep with an HIV positive person you become HIV positive. You go and sleep with that person you become what they are, so think of what you will receive from the person who will satisfy your pleasures. Most of the characters that people have are from the people they have slept with, there are transferred in your lives. Things like generational curses and other things, but when you are married there is a covering, God protects you from things that might harm either one of you.

Now, when you are not married, there is no covering because God is not part of that, He is not able to protect you from anything that might harm you. Generational curses like financial bondage can be inherited from sex before marriage but in marriage, you are covered because God honors the covenant that was made before Him, there is a blessing before Him and not a curse. So he protects you from transferring what might be part of the other side. With prophet Hosea, God said that he must marry a prostitute but he never became a prostitute because it was not sex before marriage. If it is sex before marriage, the minute you sleep with a prostitute you become one. Hosea couldn’t be the prostitute because there was a covering from God.

This is what you ought to think about, be mindful of this because this is a spiritual thing and yes we see it in everybody, whether born again or not. When you sleep with a person who is positive you become positive too, not negative. Think about what is it that you have received from that person apart from their positive status? What are u planning to receive from them when you have intercourse with them? Because you become the person that you sleep with. You inherit something from that person. Sex is not just a pleasure because there are consequences that come thereafter. The biggest danger is not a baby because a baby is a blessing at the end of the day but what you receive unaware. You will receive demons that will fight you while you were not supposed to. Bear in mind that the person you met is not the person you will receive but you need discernment, just as much as you cannot see a person written HIV positive all over them, you won’t see the hidden things that they are with them as well.

With this said, make sure that when you preserve yourself, you don’t do it for anyone for no one will be found worth but instead, do it for Christ.
